“Breathe in, breathe out, and enjoy your new cute coloring book,” —me, to my bestie.

I'm a Shopping editor (and mom to two toddlers) who covers a variety of topics, including helpful parenting/kids products, exciting gadgets, cozy products (think: home goods and fashions that'll make you want to snuggle), and any magical Disney item that crosses my path.

If you're anything like me, gifting just might be your love language. If that's true, then you might just be looking to give your friend a little something to perk them up and show them you care when they've been stressed out. From an inflatable couch they can lounge in at the beach and a reliable Monday Haircare Dry Shampoo (I've gifted this to some of my mom friends, it was *well* received) to a soothing squishy lava lamp toy and a honey lavender tea, your pal is going to love you for thinking of them.

Promising reviews: "This eye stick is remarkable, it is solid and it goes on feeling a bit wet, but when it sinks in, the tender skin around the eyes feels so good. This is a real must for anyone who particularly lives in a really dry environment." —D. Matlack

Get it from Amazon for $8.39+ (also available in a collagen and peptide formula).

Promising review: "I’m 17 and I loved this. In the intro, it says the page instructions are all up to interpretation, so if it says 'spill your drink' or something, you can take that literally or choose to paint on it with something such as tea or coffee that’ll look like brown watercolor. I love that it’s bizarre prompts, but that you have wiggle room if you don’t want to do anything too wild. I would recommend this if you’re just looking for something fun or if you’re going through some challenges, this is really helpful to distract/express/push yourself!" —Marlee

There are 100 puzzles total, and four different levels of difficulty to tackle —each puzzle features a logic grid to help you solve it!

Promising review: "The puzzles are a lot of fun, but the characters, story lines, and other details take the Murdle experience to another level. I have no idea how the author came up with such creativity! You can Murdle solo or with friends. I look forward to future volumes, but this one will keep me busy for a while!" —Liz Gately

If you want to keep the fun going, you can *also* snag Murdle: Volume 2 and Murdle: Volume 3 for more puzzling.

I gifted this to my mom and it's been such a hit! All you have to do is fill the stand with water, dip the bamboo brush in, and start creating! It's surprisingly super soothing and is great because you don't have to think long and hard about what to draw since it disappears anyway! It's a great practice in the "art of letting go" and is honestly a lovely way to spend an hour unwinding. My toddler also loved playing with it during a visit to their house — he was so enamored by the fact that he could draw with water and watch it disappear.

Promising review: "I work at a college in an environment where I am stressed out a lot, but I also have a lot of stressed-out college students in my office! The Buddha Board is incredibly soothing to 'paint' on (only requires water and helps remind me that tough days will fade away just like my artwork does. Several of my coworkers have this in their office too. And, of course, it's great when you're not stressed out too — just fun to play with!" —Violet Kayjee

Each comes with 12 posters and the stickers to complete them, including beautiful iterations of a lighthouse in Maine and the Monaco Grand Prix. My 4-year-old is obsessed with these books, so if you have a kiddo in your life, you can snag a kid-friendly one for them and *both* take a screen break.

Promising review: "I had never even heard of paint by stickers. I’m so glad I purchased it. It’s so nice to do and relaxing. And I love the travel posters that I’m making." —Patty Z

Promising review: "I got this on a whim, but seriously, I’m going to frame some of these for the walls in my house. I can never find spooky topics with the bright bold colors I want, so I’m so excited to be able to make them myself." —Nick Toland

Promising review: "I’ve tried other rainbow pencils like this and been disappointed but decided to try these because of the photos. They are so colorful and vibrant. They are great color combos. The colors are clearly distinct from each other. 10/10!!!!" —Michelle T

Promising review: "I love this lounger! It is super comfortable and is so simple to inflate! It rolls up into a small, compact bag for easy storage when you're not using it. It’s perfect for kayaking, camping, or hiking. If you just want a lazy day reading a book in the backyard, this would be great! I’m seriously obsessed with this thing!" —Sonya

So fun, my parents, his grandparents, joined in and we had a blast with it! If you are thinking about purchasing this, DO IT!! And the charge life is not bad either. Lasts long enough to give you breaks!!" —Kerri

"My teenager loved getting this as a stocking stuffer. It's easy to figure out, durable, and won't give anyone a concussion if you get hit with it. It's also visually appealing because of the lights. Would recommend as a gift — but definitely use somewhere you won't knock over your expensive decorations LOL!" —Nick O'Neill

Promising review: "I didn't know what to expect from this super adorable anxiety bookshelf, but it delivered! I shake it up when I feel anxiety, even frustration, and I sort all the little books back onto the shelves anyway I want, and it is sooo satisfying! The bookshelf is super cute and well-built. It is sturdy and beautiful. The tiny books are detailed, and their covers are amazing. They aren't actual books, but they really look like they are. This is the most gratifying gift I have ever purchased for myself. Beyond satisfied!" —Elda M Ferguson

Promising review: "This is such an amazing creation. You can tell the illustrator put in SO MUCH WORK into researching the Tay universe and capturing absolutely every detail possible of her entire career. I gasped at the "No, it's Becky" reference! A job very well done. I am so happy I purchased this!!" —Alexia Pitman

Promising review: "I thought to myself, 'How different can these be from the little lip balms E.l.f. already sells?' What a difference these are. I have a few of the smaller fruity lip balms. I love them, but they’re not incredibly moisturizing. Just something nice smelling and pretty. These, however, are something else. They’re moisturizing, smell so amazing, taste good (please, don’t eat your lip balm), and make my lips look gorgeous. I got the Strawberry Shortcake and Yummy Gummy shades, and I couldn’t be happier about them. The scents are spot on, and the pigment is just right. They’re not opaque by any means, but they provide such a nice wash of color. Very easy to wear. I’m definitely getting more shades. 10/10 highly recommend!" —Bunny

My sister, who is a biiiiig fan of Barefoot Dreams, ordered this blanket to see if it really was *just as good* as the real thing. She was pleasantly surprised! She said it's definitely not as thick, but it is very soft and super warm. For a fraction of the price she said she'll definitely order another. I even ordered one as a gift for a grab bag!

Promising reviews: "I saw this blanket on TikTok and I have to say I absolutely love it. I washed it several times now and it’s maintained its elasticity and softness after each wash. It’s warm enough but not too hot for a throw. Absolutely recommend this blanket!" —Amy

"I absolutely LOVE this blanket! I wanted a Barefoot Dreams blanket but didn’t want to pay. This blanket is large, warm, and lightweight. Love the black and white checker as well." —Stephanie parra

Promising review: "This mini pottery wheel was great for my daughter, and we had a blast playing with it. It was a bit of a learning curve at first, but we figured it out. I wish the pottery we made could be bigger. Maybe this is just a beginner's kind of device, but it sparked my interest so much that I want to get something larger now and do some real pottery. Overall, it was worth it." —Jason Custodio

From the first time I tried this dry shampoo, I've been a fan. The scent is light, not overpowering at all, and it really does a great job absorbing the grease from my hair. I'm a mom-of-two and, honestly, am spread pretty thin, so I don't always have time to give my hair the deep cleansing it deserves (and needs, oops). After spraying this throughout my hair, brushing it out, and styling it, my hair looks totally revived! I can't wait to try out the brunette version next.

Promising review: "I was thoroughly impressed with this dry shampoo. It's affordable, effective, and everyone compliments how great I smell when I use it. Two bottles lasted me a few months. It does have a white cast, but that can easily be worked into the hair to become undetectable." —Meg B.

Promising review: "I am obsessed with this scalp massager! I use it every time I wash my hair, and it has completely upgraded my shower routine. The soft yet firm silicone bristles feel amazing on the scalp — like a mini head massage — and it lathers shampoo so well that I end up using less product. It helps lift buildup and leaves my scalp feeling super clean without being harsh. I’ve noticed less flakiness, and my hair even seems to be growing healthier and stronger since using it regularly. Plus, it’s really easy to grip, even with wet, soapy hands. Whether you’re trying to relax or just want a deeper clean, this tool is a must-have. I honestly look forward to washing my hair now just so I can use it!" —Mindi Sanchez

Last time I took a plane with a suitcase and a cup of coffee, when it was my turn to check my passport and ticket, the coffee cup fell to the ground and coffee spilled. It was a nightmare! This time I bought this cup holder, and it did me a favor! I don't have to worry about where my cup and phone are! I can free my hands to do other things. I love it so much! This handy dandy notepad is from Bloom Daily Planners, a woman-owned small business. It features the meal plan on one side and a perforated "shopping list" you can tear off on the other!

Promising review: "I’ve been starting to get into meal prepping and this planner really helps! I like being able to look up recipes on my phone, then write down whatever ingredients I still need on the grocery list section of this planner. Its being magnetic is cool because you can hang it on the fridge. I love how the grocery list section can be ripped off so you can take it to the store, but the daily meal plans remain on the fridge so you can stay organized. This is a very simple idea, but it’s cute and helps keep me organized and motivated to plan out my meals." —Samantha M.

Promising review: "Love this book! I suffer from anxiety, and even though I have the coping skills to 'deal' with it, when it rears its head, I do get set back a little bit. So I got this book thinking 'okay, it will give me something to do so I can be in the moment,' but it is so much more!!! It's funny (makes me laugh out loud), creative, interesting, and reminds me that I am not the only person to feel anxiety and how horrible it can make you feel. So all I have to ask the authors is 'Can you make a book for depression?'" —Catmom

I've been drinking Yogi tea for years and I've never been disappointed! I love that each teabag has a motivational message on it — not a necessity, but it's the little things in life, right? The tea itself is delicious and I love sipping on this one when I'm having a particularly stressful day or want to unwind before bed.

Promising review: "These are the best shower steamers I've ever tried. Usually, they aren't strong enough, or they melt too quickly to even enjoy. They are also bigger than what you can buy at the store. One lasted my entire shower and still smelled amazing even after I was done. These are the best shower steamers, hands down. I would definitely buy these again." —Krista

This lovely lil' gadget has seven light settings, calming "wake up" noises, and can be set to gradually brighten at 30, 20, or 10 minutes.

Promising review: "I got this recommendation from TikTok, and it really has helped, especially with Oregon winters where the sun is not out by the time the alarm rings. It has several peaceful alarm settings and even night music to help you fall asleep. The sunrise with the alarm piano is what I play to wake me up every morning and it is a way better way than to wake up to an annoying phone alarm." —Amazon Customer

I have a Kindle (a previous edition) and, surprisingly, have become a big fan of it, especially when traveling. While I absolutely prefer a hardcover book, it's nearly impossible to put more than two (which is a stretch in itself) in my suitcase along with my clothes, shoes, toiletries, etc. I read most of my books these days through the Libby app (all you need is a library card for access), which can be used via your phone or Kindle. No need to spend tons of money on novels when I simply am not someone who rereads them! I like that I can use this one near water without fear of it getting destroyed (yikes).

Promising review: "This is probably the best purchase I have ever made. I don’t know why I waited this long. I already have Kindle Unlimited, but with this device, the world is at my fingertips. My eyes don’t hurt, and I can adjust the brightness and font to what I need. At night, I need the bigger font, so that helps so much. It’s lightweight, easy to hold, and the perfect size. I had this with me on my family vacation and I could not put it down. The charge lasts forever. I have only charged this twice. If you love to read and are sensitive to light, this will help. It’s perfect." —Amazon Customer

You can also use this in your room to keep valuables protected. Additionally, SafeGo is a small business!

Promising review: "I bought this to take on a vacation to the Virgin Islands because my husband is super paranoid about leaving valuables unattended on the beach. At first, he scoffed that this little plastic thing wasn’t going to stop a thief, and I had wasted my money. Then he admitted that the plastic was pretty sturdy, and it was cool that we could secure the cable to our beach chairs, a fence, or a tree (most petty thieves don’t carry around cable cutters). Next thing I know, he’s storing his wallet, phone, and room keys in it along with mine. He laced the cable through other things he didn’t want stolen, like the bags containing our snorkel gear. Neighboring beachgoers asked about it and where they could get one, and he was quick to demonstrate its features. And when we got home, I overheard him showing it to his friends, with as much approval as he could muster. Hate to say I told you so...OK, no I don’t." —Patsy
