Etsy was basically born to breathe life into your living room.

I have been a BuzzFeed Shopping writer since 2017, with a focus on unique, practical products, up-to-date parenting finds, and up-and-coming home decor.

Lidart Co is a small business based in South Korea that specializes in unique lighting fixtures.

Promising review: "Absolutely gorgeous! This matched the photos better than I dared to hope, and it's just the coolest thing ever. Technically a gift for my spouse, but really it was for both of us, haha. Would love it if eventually a US distributor was available as shipping is pricey, but it's also quick at least!" —alittleloveletter

Frame Mavens is a woman-owned small business based in Springfield, Ohio that makes photo frames.

Here's what BuzzFeed Home and Garden Editor Sally Elshorafa has to say about these: "I fell in love with these frames the very first time I saw them on Etsy, so I was really excited when I finally got the opportunity to order one. My toddler son's passport photo is extremely cute, so much so that I saved the extra print and decided to get a custom cut from Frame Mavens in the cornflower blue color. They were quick to respond to the custom cut request, and my order was made and shipped quickly. I added it to a gallery wall that's a little too full of gaudy (in a good way) gilded frames and minimalist black frames, and it really helped break it up and add some color."

Promising review: "Beautiful monochromatic frame! Perfect for a framed 4x6 postcard, which the owners graciously did a custom cut for." —Violet
