Just because an item is practical doesn't mean it can't be fun! From floral Band-Aids and a pickleball-inspired chip and dip bowl to an entertaining foam drain cleaner and a set of stylish gel pens, your "little treat" purchase for the week might just actually be useful!

Promising review: "Tired of traditional 'cool' pillows that feel like a brick? Tired of soft pillows that wake you up in sweat? Look no more! I am a very hot-natured, hot-sleeping person. I can not sleep without a fan on high blowing on me. This pillow is legitimately cool and comfortable. Somehow soft, but still supportive. Very, very happy with my purchase and the price!" —Robert

I am such a sucker for these glasses. My husband is getting increasingly annoyed at how little space there is in our kitchen cabinet because I cannot stop acquiring these cups. They have a nice weight to them, wash really well (I typically just run hot water through them for a bit then dry them with a towel since they are not dishwasher safe), and make my morning coffee feel a bit fancier. Love, love, love them.

Promising review: "I love these glasses. Heavy quality glass. They are great for cocktails, juice, or a Diet Coke." —Kpeppers

Promising review: "This pill organizer is very handy because it allows you to set up your pill regimen for an entire month. The fact that each little container is separate is nice because you can take it with you or set it on the table to help you remember to take your pills. This works well for a friend who has early dementia so he remembers to take all his medications. Very handy." —Mardi

Promising review: "The narrow width of this toaster helps free up real estate on my small countertop, plus it accommodates two slices of toast, English muffins or bagels as well as a regular width toaster. It comes in a beautiful teal color which I love. And the three toast levels ensure you don’t burn food and the quality of the toast is just right — from light to brown. I highly recommend it!" —Joyce Hill

Each set comes with a carrying case and several sizes of silicone tips to get your perfect fit!

Promising review: "I have been eyeing these for a while, but wasn't sure. The first day I had them, I actually fell asleep reading and was out like a light for a few hours. My mom is hard of hearing, and we're a very loud family, so I got these to take some of that volume down when I've got a headache (a frequent occurrence). I wear them much more often than anticipated. They are so easy to change the tips to the right size and fit into your ears. They're very small, so like I mentioned, I can lie down and sleep in them but still hear very well if I need to be woken up. They're high-grade material and come in a case that snaps shut and fits on my keys or in my pocket. They block out almost all background noise, no fans, no AC units, but I can still have a conversation with them sealed in place. I kinda want them in every color now!" —laura locke

Promising review: "This stuff smells SO good! Like a sweet, sugary citrus, but not overpowering, just a light, fresh scent. The smell lasts forever. I used a kitchen towel to wipe my counters down and then hung the towel up and the next day I could still smell it when I walked into the kitchen. For the scent alone, I would purchase this again! As for cleaning... it is not a disinfectant, it is just a general multipurpose cleaner, so I wouldn't use it to clean toilets or anything like that. It does a WONDERFUL job at cleaning and cutting grime and grease though. It actually surprised me! It doesn't leave residue or streaks but does leave a clean, shiny surface. The bottle is plenty big. The only con is that the spray mechanism doesn't work the greatest. Sometimes it sticks. I use glass spray bottles, so I just put it in one of those to solve that issue. Overall, definitely recommend!" —Joshua

Promising review: "Do not hesitate to try this product if you have a hard skin problem on your feet. It takes a few days to see a difference, but now I can see a change. Just like that, the skin on my pinky toe is not rock solid anymore. Bye bye, pain — and I am not joking." —Majda

The color-adaptive formula is designed so one of four shades will work on any skin tone. I've personally tested this out, and it has become an essential part of my daily routine. As a mom of two, I gotta just say I am TIRED. So tired that I'm not sure what my face even looks like without bags under my eyes — that is, unless I've got the Catrice "Instant Awake" on. A little really goes a long way and has great coverage. I wore it throughout my sister's wedding weekend in Aruba, and despite the heat, it stayed perfectly in place. An incredible product for an even more incredible price...10/10 from me.

Promising review: "Took years off my eyes! This product is so reasonably priced. I came across a TikTok promoting this and decided to take a chance since the price was super reasonable. My eyes looked brighter in a good way, and the concealer worked so well that I felt I looked younger. I got compliments from friends asking what I did differently with my makeup. I recommend it." —Placeholder

Promising review: "Just as good or maybe even better than my Laneige and Summer Friday lippies! Doesn't have an overpowering vanilla scent — smells like a cupcake with marshmallow frosting! The applicator is a 10/10 and the product goes on like butter." —Lindsay A.

Promising review: "These Band-Aids have the normal Band-Aid terrific quality, but they also have a delightful design so that they are so much easier to use when needed for young children. I hope to have this box for a long, long time, but realistically, they will be needed either for myself or for another. The design is whimsical and perfectly appropriate for both children and adults." —M

Mouthwatchers is a small business established by Ronald Plotka, DDS, that specializes in antimicrobial toothbrushes designed to get deeper cleans even patients with "great" dental hygiene might miss with traditional brush and floss routines. I personally use this toothbrush and have been telling everyone in my life to get it — it's a game changer. I've always been prone to plaque build up and it's been very hard to get my teeth feeling fresh-out-of-the-dentist clean, but this toothbrush has done the trick! The first time I used it my mouth actually hurt a little like when you get a full cleaning done. It was kind of incredible. The bristles are super soft and not irritating but somehow, magically, deep clean my teeth better than any toothbrush I've had before.

Promising review: "It’s so much easier to get around all sides of the very back teeth than with the bulky electric. I love the way it makes my teeth feel afterward. It really does feel like you’ve just left your dentist." —Vicki Perkins

Good Molecules is a small business that specializes in affordable skincare products.

Promising reviews: "I love this product and have noticed a huge difference when using it consistently. I am on the younger side and don’t have the worst under-eye bags, but on those occasional mornings when my eyes are puffy with somewhat visible dark circles, this product definitely does the trick! Honestly, I love all the Good Molecules products." —Hayden Smith

"This right here is the real deal! You can see immediate results! It firms and moisturizes my eyelids! A must-have!" —Nancy A. Borkowski

Promising review: "I used this product years ago and had the most amazing skin, but I assumed it was mostly genetics. Now that my skin is showing signs of aging, I decided to give it another try — and I’m so glad I did. My skin is transforming daily. They say your skin can rebuild itself, and it really does — especially when you remove the buildup of dead skin cells. I’ve been using it morning and night, and I genuinely look younger. My skin feels polished, my pores are noticeably smaller, and I need much less makeup. Such a fantastic product — highly recommend!" —Sweet Caroline

You can use each pen about 20 times and should expect your teeth to lighten 4–8 shades.

Promising review: "I have tried some other whitening products, including whitening strips, and this has been my favorite so far. The pen is really easy to use and I have definitely noticed my teeth are slightly whiter. I haven’t used it consistently enough to notice more permanent shade change, but I’m happy with the results for the random occasions I use it. It is much easier to use than whitening strips that have left my teeth with little white spots. I haven’t noticed any sensitivity either." —Michelle Ginsburg

After hearing what incredible things The Pink Stuff can do, I finally ordered it and tried it for myself. Honestly, wow! It really does work wonders. I tried it first on my Le Creuset cast iron pan (seen above, right) and was really amazed at how just one pass with The Pink Stuff (and a scouring brush) took off almost every stain! My 1-year-old colored with a blue crayon all over our play table, and The Pink Stuff took it off INSTANTLY — it was incredible to watch!

Promising review: "I’m very impressed! It removed stubborn mold and grime from my shower tile grout with the use of a hard-bristle toothbrush. It removed hard water stains from my sinks and faucets. I noticed it really does remove mineral buildup, but it takes a lot of elbow grease and repetitive applications before you start seeing progress. The texture feels similar to when you mix honey with sugar to make a lip scrub, except it’s super fine grit and more pasty like putty or clay. It works amazingly so far! No overpowering smell (barely any smell at all), easy to use, and a little product goes a long way. I haven’t tried it on rust yet so we’ll see how that goes. Overall, very pleased and impressed so far. Highly recommend!" —Marissa

It works great for tough-to-reach spots where you don’t want a bunch of drippy stuff. BuzzFeed writer Emma Lord has personally tested this baby out. She said:

"I was very adamant about not buying this for the longest time because I am stubborn about "expensive" beauty products, but this is worth every penny and then some. It's so lightweight and layerable, it's foolproof to apply, and I have yet to wear a single outfit it doesn't complement??? I love watching it instantly elevate a casual look or add simple elegance to dressy ones. I wear it every day now, and after weeks of use, I've barely made a dent. Also, and maybe this is just me, but I tend to get pigment on my teeth with a lot of lip products, and I've simply never had an issue with this magic stick.

Anyway, watch this TikTok of someone using it on their lips AND cheeks, because I did and oops, this lipstick FELL into my cart."

I have these tablets and use them all the time! They work especially great after the bottom of my dishwasher has gotten stained with residue from detergent or rusty-looking liquid after I've run my baking sheets through the wash. I love knowing I can just pop one into the dishwasher 1, 2, 3, and end up with a clean machine.

Promising review: "After using this product, I am happy to report that my $5 investment saved me over $500. I was ready to replace my dishwasher, due to super cloudy glasses, residue, and just not getting clean. Then I saw a product test review for Affresh in Good Housekeeping magazine. I was ordering some stuff from Amazon anyway, so I added that to my order. I did not expect the results I got! The glassware that I thought was permanently etched and ruined came out like new. Same with cutlery. The difference is unbelievable. I am amazed!" —Sheila

I need something that can help my dry skin, protect from the sun, and not irritate my sensitive skin. I was skeptical about this product, never having heard of the brand, but I gave it a try. I am SO thrilled with the results. This moisturizer is BETTER than the $55 alternative I have been using. It moisturizes like a dream. It doesn’t pill. And my sensitive skin loves it. I am THRILLED with my purchase and will definitely be back for more!" —R. Berry

Buzzfeed deputy editorial director Elizabeth Lilly has been putting this toothpaste to the test. She said, "I've been testing out the whitening version of this toothpaste, and it works just as well as any drugstore brand toothpaste without irritation. (I'll occasionally get irritation from whitening strips and treatments, and space them out because of it, but I've had none with this!) My mouth just FEELS cleaner when I use this, and it's even easier to use my tongue scraper after brushing, too! I think this has earned a spot as my new go-to."

Promising review: "This stuff is magic in a spray bottle. It cleans SO well, I was actually shocked the first time I used it. I saw someone else mention it and I’m so glad I gave it a try. You literally spray it on and wait a couple of seconds, and you can see the stain disappear. I don’t know how it works, but it does, and I’m so grateful. I have three kids and a cream couch (I know, lol, but I really wanted it.), and with the Folex I can maintain it! It’s a good-sized bottle, granted, it’s a bit more expensive than other brands, but this one actually works, so I think it’s worth it. I haven’t noticed any smell whatsoever." —Mr & Mrs. B

However, this product worked wonders! The foam pushed the gel balls out through the sink’s overflow hole, and the drain was completely cleared. I ended up using it on all the sinks and even the bathtub drains, and it worked perfectly everywhere. Hair clogs, slow drainage—everything was cleared effortlessly. Yes Day is a small business owned by a 13-year-old (!!!) Coco, who wanted to create a perfect #GRWM skincare line for other teens who were endlessly trying out products that left them with irritated skin. She worked with formulator Ron Robinson (who has his own collection and has worked with Clinique, La Mer, Lancôme, and Rhode) to create an incredible skincare line. I've been testing this face wash out for about a month and, admittedly, had no idea it was designed by teens for teens! I quickly became obsessed with it because of its cucumber melon-like scent (I'm a sucker for that nostalgic smell) and how clean it made my face feel.

Promising review: "I work with cars, so I use the cleanser both in the morning and at night. My appreciation, though, is more for the night cleanse, as I can literally feel the grime of the day lifting off my face, leaving my skin feeling subtle and glowing." —Hazel Ryan

I use this spray nightly and can confirm it's fantastic. I use it on my frying pans and the grill pans from my Griddler (which is ALWAYS a pain to clean). It loosens all the gunk and makes it much easier to clean burnt bits and pieces off. It also smells incredible — very fresh and delightful!

I own and cherish this product. It's a dream knowing the "brush" is fresh and hasn't been intimate with the inside of my toilet prior to my picking it up again. This set comes with the wand and 16 refills.

Promising review: "The primary reason I decided to purchase the Clorox Toilet Wand was so I could clean under my toilet rims, which I noticed was definitely getting neglected via using the standard toilet brushes to clean. Initially, I was looking for a toilet brush that had the shape needed to actually GET under the rim, and that's how I found out about it. Now that I've used it... I can say without a doubt that I'll never go back to a regular brush. I like the cleanliness of the disposable brushes as opposed to a regular toilet brush. And I especially like that I don't have to purchase a second brush with a shape capable of cleaning under the rim, which not only takes up more space, but also would take more time, given I'd have to switch back and forth and apply product. With this, I can just clean the entire pot in less than five minutes with the same tool." —Brittney Nelson

There is NOTHING more irritating than gnats or any other tiny insects invading your home. I have these Sticky Stakes in every potted plant I own and they actually really work! Each pack comes with seven traps, so feel free to stock up.

Promising review: "Just placed another order for more. I was given a plant that has brought in lots of gnats. I didn’t realize how many there were ’til I got this. They are doing a great job of catching/killing these annoying bugs. I was even able to put the sticky side in on the lower clip so that it wouldn’t stick to the leaves of the plant and rip them. Will definitely continue to get these when needed. Hopefully, they will get rid of all of them soon." —Nicole Pisa

Made with a bamboo handle and powder-coated steel, it uses a simple lever system to make weeding easy. Grampa's Weeder is a small business!

Promising review: "Oh my god, I friggin' love this tool. I bought this on a whim, given that we bought our first house and know nothing about caring for a yard. Boy, has it come in handy. Our new house had a ton of weeds in the front yard, and this tool helped me get most of them out in no time. In fact, the process of yanking out the weed was strangely satisfying! I don't think anyone can say that weeding is fun, but this tool made it as close to fun as you can get, especially when you see a long root along with the weed you pulled." —JG

I bought this for myself, and OMG. This thing REALLY works. Usually, when my husband makes sauce from scratch, I'm left with chunks of tomatoes throughout my sink and water that WILL NOT drain — that was until I bought the SinkShroom (which comes from a small business!). My mom was so impressed she bought one, too. It's a serious game changer.

Promising review: "I’ve been a fan of the SinkShroom and TubShroom, and this is the best product from the line so far. My kitchen sinks simply do not clog anymore, so there’s no more reaching into a bunch of water to unclog anything with my hand." —Brady Amerson

Promising reviews: "The ChomChom Roller really works. I have two German shepherds who shed SO much, so this was necessary. The ChomChom Roller picked up SO much fur that the vacuum couldn’t." —Ezra Gordon

"I've had it in my possession for like two hours and I've cleaned everything. The couch, the blinds, the cat tree pad, the chair; I'm obsessed. I feel like this thing should win an award for being so awesome. I feel like it should be in raffle baskets and giveaways and silent auctions for every event that highlights 'things cat people need.' It's better than those sticky rollers, it's better than the one-directional velvet wand thing that I always use the wrong way. It's the best." —Meowser

BuzzFeed Deputy Editorial Director Elizabeth Lilly loves hers! She said, "I got one of these for Christmas and since, it's totally changed my at-home reading game. I can pretzel myself into all sorts of positions wherever I want to read in my apartment without worrying about damaging pages with a clip-on light or sitting by a lamp."

Promising review: "I also ordered one of those book lights that you have to clip directly onto your book. I haven't even tried the clip-on yet because I LOVE THIS ONE SO MUCH!! It's so versatile. It is the perfect solution for when I'm up in the middle of the night and I still want to stay in bed and read while my husband sleeps next to me. Even when I don't have to worry about disturbing someone, this light is still my go-to when reading. It's better than any nightstand lamp because you can focus this light directly on your book or other types of hands-on projects. I had worried that it would be uncomfortable around my neck, but it's so lightweight I hardly even notice it" —Linda Holloway
