Best friend charm bracelets for water bottles exist...did you know that? Now you know that.

Not big on water bottle accessories? Weird. But that's okay, the chain is adjustable and can be hung on anything small, from a reading lamp neck to a bag strap.

Promising review: "This cute little charm is a must! I was trying to find a way to differentiate my Stanley — the perfect way to do it! It’s small enough to not draw too much attention and minimalistic for those who don’t want to go all out. Cute little accessory with easy clip to add or subtract from tumblers." —Lily

I bought these for my daughter waaay before she was old enough to care, because I wanted to play with them myself! They're solid, made of high-quality materials (not plastic), and owned by a small business. Now that my kiddo is older, these have become a staple in our diaper bag on days at the park. We'll spend ages looking for special pieces, seeing if they fit, testing out different configurations, and then have a blast with some imagination play (these little critters get up to a lot of mischief!). Whether you're totally into playing fantastical, made-up games with your kids or need clear directions to create a little whimsy, these have got your back. I recommend them to every parent I know (and now, even those I don't — hi from me!).

Every puzzle is made in the US using 100% recycled cardboard. They come in 1,000 and 500 pieces, and all are 20 x 27 inches when completed.

My husband and I spend a lot of our nights listening to audiobooks and doing puzzles (and spend many mornings picking up the puzzle pieces our cats have knocked off the table while we slept). The cheekiness of this brand interested us both, and we got the Floravision version above. We *loved* working on a puzzle with surprises in the illustration. It was engaging, frustrating, and SO fun finding and connecting pieces without knowing how they would fit in with the end product. The end? It was gorgeous. We've framed ours and put it on our wall (but I'm not showing you...because I don't want to spoil the surprise end result!).

Feral Felicitations (aka my new favorite Etsy find) is a small business in Redding, California. Owner Isaac Stanley has filled the shop with the loveliest little nonsense this side of the internet. There are cowboy raccoon bookmarks, "trashy" animal mugs, feral prints, magnets, stickers, and more!

Promising review: "Very high quality and great customer service! My friend loved her possum card, and I have a great new find in a new shop with some feral friends! Thanks, Isaac!" —Jan

To get the cat eye effect, apply one layer, cure with a UV light for one minute, add a second layer, and use the included magnet to move the glitter into the desired formation. A few reviewers didn't find the magnet to be strong enough, so you might want to grab this magnet kit as well.

Promising review: "I've been doing my nails for years, and this was so fast and fun to use. I always wanted cat eye polishes in my collection and this was perfect! Especially for Christmas time! I will say they are thick, and I'm guessing that's because they're pigmented and packed with the little magnetic bits for maximum shine and glimmer. I feel like I have the northern lights on my nails! I would recommend playing on a few test nails beforehand to get a handle on the different patterns you can make with the magnet. Overall, would recommend it for anyone wanting something easy and fun!" —Hailey

Several reviewers recommend getting a fine-tipped craft glue to complete this kit. It also glows! Just be sure to grab two AA batteries (not included) once you've finished.

Promising review: "This book nook took me two days to make, and I am so in love with the final result. The instructions are very clear. Some pieces broke, so be sure to be patient while cutting them out. I glued the broken ones back together with no problem. This works with a motion sensor, but you can access the battery pack from the back, which is really convenient! The most tedious part of this is making the books, but after that, it goes pretty fast! The lights are amazing, and they tell you where to place them in the instructions. This was my first book nook I’ve ever built! I will definitely be buying more in the future!" —Phoenix

Some elements are even made from plant-based plastic, so yeah, the designers really went above and beyond. Check out these beauties in a TikTok from @shaelorend.

Promising review: "I wasn’t expecting this to take as long as it did; I see why people do this with someone else. But it was even more fun to do this by myself and watch my shows. The instructions are in picture form and detail which pack is which. Some of the pieces can be similar and you have a couple of pieces left behind but I think they’re a weird form of 'extras.' But if you’re not super messy or plan on moving these around too much, you won’t have to worry about the pieces but keep them safe. I love how these will never die and look forward to another set of forever flowers to build! :)." —Bri J.

FYI — one of the product photos says the striker is on the lid, but according to reviewers, it's on the bottom. There's also a teeny bit of storage inside. Anyway, I strongly recommend getting these pink matches to go with it.

Promising review: "Fantastic product! Quality product for the price. Well packaged in its own box and styrofoam for protection. Highly recommend this seller and product!" —CookieSecrets

Looking for a version of your favorite game? WS Game Company has a great selection of these brilliant "books!"

Promising review: "These have adorable vintage designs! Sturdy pieces. The board is ripping a bit but we’ve played this dozens of times with our toddler so I suppose that’s expected. Definitely more pricey than the cheap version you could get for $10 at any big store but honestly it’s worth it to me. It lasts so much longer and it's easier to store. Having it in our front room on the bookshelf makes it easily accessible and blends in with our other books." —Spooky Hobbit

Fun fact: This was the most funded puzzle on Kickstarter, raising over $3 million.

Promising review: "Just got this puzzle for something to do at home over the holidays. Seriously... I have never seen a puzzle quite like this! It’s very impressive and exceeded my expectations already. The packaging is beautiful inside and out. Everything about it shouts quality. I particularly liked the envelopes inside for the puzzle pieces and mystery. Heavyweight and substantial. The one holding the 1,000 puzzle pieces stays closed with Velcro! How cool! And the secret mystery envelope has a cool string loop tie. Makes you remember you can’t open it until the puzzle is done. The whole vibe of The Mystic Maze is quality and fun, and it also looks like a challenging puzzle. Looking forward to getting started on this. Certainly a good stay-at-home fun activity. Highly recommend!" —Kyle Fletcher

I own these! The photo on the top left is a shot from my apartment. These eggs were the cherry on top of my Beatrix Potter bookshelf! If you're looking to create a "bringing the outside in" aesthetic, these speckled eggs can't be beat!

Promising review: "I’m 66 — and I have NO idea why I’ve been so attracted to these lil’ eggs for so long. When they popped up as a Black Friday Deal, I jumped on them. Not a lick of disappointment here, they’re simply delightful! They’ll live in an inherited old wooden bowl on my coffee table for guests (and me) to play with. Way more fun than a fidget spinner, and SO much prettier. I like to keep things simple, and these are ideal. To my mind, this is the kind of thing the grandkids would fight over ‘someday.' There’s a nice weight to them (thinking they must be a heavier wood, not just pine), and the colors are spot-on. Five Ssars!!!" —Continuous Renovation

Promising review: "These mushrooms are the cutest decorations I've seen. I absolutely love them. They are pretty sturdy once set up, I have them sitting on the ground and placed a smallish brick on the inside for stability. They also come with string if you want to hang them. I am going to put a small tea light or fairy lights on the inside to light them up. Both the wire and the paper seem really durable and seem to be made better than other paper lanterns that I've seen. They are SUPER easy to set up." —Sajujama
