I cannot hear it on the lowest setting but I can still feel it from 5 feet away. The highest setting is INTENSE. I am pretty sure I can function on the middle setting as it is so quiet. The portability of it off the charger is great for doing projects around the house and needing the cool air. I HATE fans, but 15 minutes into having this in my home and I have no complaints at all.
