Promising review: "THIS IS THE BEST FOUNDATION I HAVE EVER HAD. I was so skeptical at first because I have tried some long-wear foundations that oxidize, and get cake-y, or after a couple of hours my skin becomes oily and patchy, but not this one!!!!! This foundation matches your skin color sooo well that it looks like my real skin, gives you a natural matte finish, is not cake-y at all, does not crease, does not smudge, and DOES NOT TRANSFER, I spend all day sweating and this foundation it's still intact. This is my favorite foundation so far" —Andrelis Get it from Amazon for $7.50+ (available in 13 shades). Mehron Makeup is a family-owned, small business that specializes in creating theatrical and special FX products. Promising review: "I used this product for months in the summer in Greece. Temperatures were over 105 degrees F and my makeup stayed put and my skin did not get greasy or oily from sweat. This photo is from the hottest part of the day in Athens five hours after applying makeup. Skin is still matte and makeup is still in place. I use Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Care and Glow Foundation so it’s pretty sheer. This primer is so good you don’t need thick makeup. GET IT." —Demirep Promising review: "Works so well. I have some really red textured skin and acne and this covered it up perfectly. Everything practically vanished I couldn’t believe it. And it also stayed on through a whole day of sweating and even sleeping in my make up (I know gross)" —abbs3 Get it from Sephora for $36 (available in 30 shades). Promising reviews: "I have extremely oily, acne-prone skin. Let me say this...a little goes a long way! I was amazed at how little it takes to conceal. It begins drying into the skin pretty quickly, too, I might add, which is for a person with extremely oily skin...I found that a huge plus! I applied it at 9 a.m., and it was still going strong at 8 p.m. that night! With it being 98 degrees outside with a heat index of 104. Needless to say, I will be buying this from now on. I absolutely love it. It doesn’t feel overly thick, it doesn’t make my skin oily, and it really lasts with medium to full coverage. I’m definitely one happy camper with this product!!!" —Harleigh "If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Tough against beamish coverage, sweat, and time. Complete coverage, scent-free, and breakout-free. That’s saying a lot coming from my sensitive, finicky skin. And the price, you can’t beat it! Definitely a staple in my makeup bag. I have already bought more." —Schuyler Ledford Get it from Amazon for $5.25+ (available in dozens of shades). Promising review: "Over 10 brands of "waterproof" "longlasting" eyeliners have failed, but this one reigns victorious. It survived the Arizona 112-degree weather and sweaty face, followed by a gym session. And it stay opaque throughout no touch ups. Nine hours later, even after three washes in a steamy shower it was STILL ON 9 . The only thing that took it off was my thick layer of skin care. This is what you need. Also i used a dried out Nyx Epic liner to apply it." —TLW Get it from Amazon for $17 (available in 21 colors). Promising review: "I, honest to god, thought setting sprays were a money trap hoax until I bought this. I had used a few random setting sprays in the past, and they never did ANYTHING; my makeup would run down my face as soon as I got in the sun. I bought this before a trip to the beach because I wanted something with SPF that I could spray on my pale, sensitive face (and if it happened to help my makeup stay in place, even better!). I was BEYOND impressed by how well this setting spray worked; my makeup still looked great even after hours of walking around the beach in the California sun. It felt very light on my face and dried quickly; it definitely has a strong sunscreen smell, but whatevs, it does the job!! Will be buying this brand again when the bottle runs out, for sure." —Hannah Coyne Get it from Amazon for $13.96 (available in a pack of two; also available in four other formulas). Promising review: "I am super impressed with the Urban Decay All-Nighter Waterproof Makeup Setting Spray! I’ve never tried a setting spray before, but I was heading to Hawaii on vacation and needed something that would keep my makeup in place for very long nights. Especially in the humidity! This 100% did the trick! It was small enough that I could pack it in my cosmetics bag and carry it onto the plane, which was a bonus. It has zero smell, and no oiliness at all, and dries very quickly. I felt very glowy and fresh afterward! I think it’s an excellent value for the money and I would absolutely order again." —Devon McCollum Get the full-size from Amazon for $23.80 (also available in a travel size). Promising review: "I wanted to give this product 10 stars, but was only limited to 5. :( This stuff is AMAZING!!!! I'm almost 30, and my face has become super oily — like I can fry chicken on it by the end of the day. For months, I've been neglecting to wear any kind of foundation or makeup. After reading the reviews, I decided to give this a try. The glow it gives you is AWESOME!!! It makes my skin so soft. I'm probably going to wear just this and no foundation 50% of the time. After the Texas heat... And the sun...And amounts of sweat...My face was PERFECT...STILL! No oil... No smears... No pores... This is literally sent from heaven!!!! My ONLY dislike is the fact that you can't purchase this in 5-gallon buckets!" —Jessica Get it from Amazon for $14.99 (also available in a redness-correcting formula). Promising review: "Decided to give this a try and was pleasantly surprised. I don’t wear makeup often, but I wanted to try something I could wear on its own that would even out my skin tone without melting in the Florida heat and humidity. This works really well. The before and after pics in the description are pretty accurate. I have sensitive skin, but I haven’t had any irritation from this. I recommend and would purchase again." —Sharon Promising review: "This is the eyeliner that will NOT budge. It’s to the point that even washing it off with soap is difficult. If you get any on your fingers, you’ll have to scrub it off! Even your natural oils or oils from lotion under makeup won’t stop this from wearing off! Because of this, the brown offers a seemingly natural enhancement that makes it through nights out and all!" —CynthiaHM Get it from Amazon for $9.99 (available in a two-pack). Promising review: "Okay, I’m sold. I’ve been using this product for about a year now, and I’m still using the original tube I ordered. A little goes a very, very long way in terms of hold — and it stays on until you take it off. I’m not exactly gentle with my makeup, either. This stuff held up through four hours at a splash pad with my toddlers this past summer, as well as a few swimming trips. Water, sweat, sunscreen, humidity, heat...It was still completely untouched when I got home. I’ll also admit that I’ve fallen asleep with it still on more than once, and it still looked picture-perfect by morning despite all my tossing and turning. It is extremely sticky, though. I recommend wiping the applicator on the rim a few times to remove excess product, then applying it with a light hand. I also typically use a separate spoolie to evenly distribute the product through my brows, then follow up with a Q-tip soaked in makeup remover to refine the shape. All around, this is officially my favorite brow product. Ever." —Aries Get it from Amazon for $9.97 (also available in a two-pack). Promising review: "I've been wearing mascara for 40 years. Believe me..I am a mascara expert by now! I've tried LOTS. I found this a couple of years ago and it is hands down, the very best. It goes on smoothly, is fully smudge-proof, waterproof, and it doesn't flake. It stays on until I take it off 12 hours later. Expensive but worth every darn penny." —Amazon Customer Watch on TikTok as one user goes from skeptic to believer! BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord is a huge fan: "I am not a new human to the tubing mascara game, and in fact, I readily spent $26 on the famous OG blend from Blinc every time it needed replacing. I didn't even love it for the length half as much as the fact that tubing mascara like this genuinely never smudges, but can I just say — regardless of price, the E.l.f. tubing mascara formula blows all the others I've tried out of the water. It gives me way more length and volume than other brands, slides on so much more easily, stays put ALL day, and never, ever smudges. My favorite part, though, is how gently and easily it comes off with soap and water. In the past, other mascara removers have felt rough on my lashes, but this one comes off so fast that I'm like,??? was I even wearing mascara a minute ago?? Anyway, I hesitate to even write this review because I want to gatekeep the hell out of this before it sells out, but the world needs to know. I'm a big fan of the brown shade (which is what I'm wearing above!), but it also comes in black and soft black." Promising review: "This mascara is amazing! It stays on all day and even lasts through tears and sweat. I love it so much, I even bought some for my mom and my daughter. I can even use it on my lower lashes without worrying about mascara under my eyes as the day goes on. It also makes my lashes look long and full." —Adventurewith Get it from Amazon for $7 (available in three shades). Promising reviews: "I absolutely adore Rare Beauty’s blush in the shade Happy. The color is a beautiful, warm peachy-pink that gives my cheeks a natural, radiant flush. It's perfect for everyday wear, and the formula is so easy to blend. It has a soft, dewy finish that doesn't feel greasy, and it stays put all day. I love how buildable it is, too, allowing me to customize the intensity. A little goes a long way, and I get compliments every time I wear it. This blush is a must-have in my makeup routine!" —buttat "I wore this blush and sweated all day outside and it never budged. Also, when you apply it blends into your skin like butter. I like some are matte finish too. Forget the alternatives get the real deal." —slkgirl38 Get it from Sephora for $25 (available in 11 shades, two finishes, and select mini sizes). Fellow BuzzFeed Shopping writer, Gabriela Manjarrez, knows a thing or two about this beauty gem and says, "Honestly, I don't think TirTir is ever getting rid of me. I have a particularly oily T-zone, and I've noticed that this setting spray truly does help control excess sebum and keeps my forehead from looking like a glazed donut. It also leaves a natural, satin finish with a soft sheen, which I LOVE. As someone who is way too lazy for touch-ups when I'm out and about, I appreciate that my glam stays locked👏 in👏 with this." Promising reviews: "I swear to you, this stuff is magical. My makeup never budges when I use this, and I don’t have to use that much. You can take it off with micellar water pretty easily, but I’m telling you, I ugly-cried over this over my makeup, and it stayed. the. same. It’s the best. It also has the nicest bottle; it sprays really evenly over your face, and if it has any flaw, it’s probably that it makes your makeup a little too dewy, but I usually use a little powder over the parts of my face I don’t want to be highlighted, and it works like a gem. Also definitely blurs my makeup very well. 10/10 would recommend!!!!" —Jennifier Moore "I've fallen in love with this setting spray. It leaves the skin looking fresh, not shiny. It locks in makeup. The nozzle provides a very fine mist. I think it's replaced my Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray." —Michelle Get it from Amazon for $12.75 (also available in a semi-matte version and in a two-pack). Promising review: "I have been using this primer for two years, and I love it. I’m a teacher, and sometimes I have really long days, and my eyeliner and eye shadow stay intact with this primer. We recently came back from a trip to Japan, and it was hot and humid there and This primer worked really well. My eyeliner stayed on all day despite sweating profusely from the heat and humidity. Thank you for this amazing product! And it really does what it promises — a little goes a long way." —Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $11.19 (available in sets with other products). Promising review: "I must say, after several years of buying and trying several different eyeshadows that say to be smudge proof, sweat proof etc... These truly are. I am very impressed with the quality and that they stay put all day. I work 10 hour days and sweat a lot and these eyeshadow stick will not budge, not even from the waterline. They are worth every cent and I hope they are not discontinued. Finally an eyeshadow I can wear." —Catherine Get it from Amazon for $14+ (available in 39 colors). A few reviewers compare the rosy nude shade to Charlotte Tilbury's popular Pillow Talk lipstick; other similar products mentioned include YSL Velvet Cream and Tartist Creamy Matte Lip Paint. Promising reviews: "Goes on smooth and lightweight. I hate clumpy lipsticks, but this is absolutely velvety. Even when I do have to reapply, it doesn’t get sticky or messy to add additional layers. The matte is beautiful. This lipstick is a new fave and an absolute game-changer." —Ashlee Harrop "This lipstick is incredible. It goes on liquidy and dries matte, but is moisturizing so it doesn’t leave your lips cracked like most other brands. I wore a bright red shade to a wedding last night and only reapplied once after dinner. It lasted through drinking, eating, kissing my partner, sweating, talking, smoking. The pigmentation is impressive. You really only need one application. I’m considering buying additional shades. If you’re looking for a good matte lipstick, you’ve found it." —Kendra Get it from Amazon for $9.90+ (available in 29 shades). Promising review: "This lipsticks are THE BEST!!!! I dance a lot and sweat a lot and this one stays on all night, I even have to take them off with micellar water and use more than one cotton rounds. Colors are great and vivid. Best lipsticks for an awesome price. Don’t wait any longer and get them!! 👄" —ARC91 Get a six-piece set from Amazon for $7.99 (available in a three-piece pack and in five color sets). Promising reviews: "I have yet to find a powder that does what this one does. I’m a performer, and I have lived in both humid climates and the desert. This powder has never failed me." —paulinamags "Raver approved! Makes my makeup withstand sweat and many hours of dancing more than any setting spray alone!!! I was very impressed that for once, I didn't have raccoon eyes from eyeshadow and eyeliner running down my face. It didn't leave a cast for photos either. It does take a learning curve to apply correctly, so it doesn't leave a cast. A little goes a long way!" —piggymings Get it from Sephora for $25+ (available in six shades). Promising reviews: "My holy grail makeup product, especially if you have oily skin like me!! Lasts me sooo long. I've had this since last summer, and it's still going strong. Where I live, it can get humid, but this locks in my makeup so well" —caaiitlinn "WOW! This setting powder from HUDA Beauty is truly incredible. Not only is it a super fun name to say, but it has good staying powder. It is still kind of under wraps, but I am participating in the next season of Survivor and have been using this for my training, and it is so incredible, even when I'm sweating, my concealer stays on under this. I will have to sneak it on the island somehow!" —Belinda09 Get it from Sephora for $23+ (available in two sizes and 13 shades). Promising reviews: "Best lip glow I have ever had. Keeps your lips looking natural without them feeling coated and heavy like some lip gloss." —Sharon Rotando "This is seriously the best lip and cheek stain I've ever used. It has a beautiful peach tint that lasts long, even when it's humid." —margaret grant Get it from Amazon for $26.40+ (available in four colors). Promising reviews: "HOTTTT!!! Been loving this popping orange pencil. I bought it to use as an eyeliner, and it is such a fun summer color. Just adds a little spice to the eyes." —leatherette "I wear this when I play squash and while at the gym, and it doesn’t smudge at all (which is very impressive given that I sweat a lot from my upper lip area). It's the only lip liner I’ve used that lasts after eating." —sh33p Get it from Sephora for $26 (available in 20 shades and two finishes). Promising review: "Ok listen, I don’t EVER write reviews so take this one from me. I’ve never had luck with tinted sunscreens or BB creams. The sunscreens always got really oily on me very quickly and the bb creams never had the coverage I wanted. I ordered this on a whim shortly before I had to take a work trip where I’d be out in the south Texas heat all day for a week. Let me tell you, she PERFORMED!! I had only had a few min to get ready in the morning and this made it so easy. I put it on with my hands like regular sunscreen. A couple of dabs of concealer under the eyes a little blush and some powder. So quick and easy and it held ALL day in the STX heat and humidity!!! At the end of the day I was not oily at all! It was amazing. And the coverage is awesome!! So so good. For me it was definitely a medium to full coverage probably more on the full since I put a lot to protect my skin from the sun. I didn’t get any sunburn either. I’m an oily girl and I’m just so impressed by this!! I will continue to buy and use for work now since I never have time for a full face of makeup and this makes it so quick and easy. With the blush and concealer plus powder it looks beautiful honestly. I do think they need more shade range but luckily this shade worked for me. Wasn’t orange or anything which I feel most tinted sunscreens are. Just try this!! You’ll love it!" —AK Get it from Amazon for $14.90 (available in eight shades and in two-packs). Promising review: "I will never use another primer ever again. I rave a lot and this keeps my makeup literally glued to my face. It doesn't matter if I'm dancing, drinking, sweating or in the rain it sticks to my face and literally does not move an inch. This primer combined with the setting spray is unstoppable." —Lilyana Get it from Amazon for $10 (available in three sizes). Promising review: "I love, love, love this product! Creamy and glowy. I use it as a cream blush, on my lids, and on my lips. Such a pretty color. Blends incredibly well and holds up as a blush even in humidity or through sweat. Buildable. Gives a dewy/shiny highlighted look that's great for adding luminosity and brightening on mature skin." —Sarah S Get it from Amazon for $5+ (available in seven shades). Promising review: "I love this! Just tried it for the first time today, and it really was 'glowy' all day. I was unloading a truck at a furniture store for two hours, with no setting spray, and it stayed put through light sweat. As mentioned, I didn't use a setting spray, so I'm not sure how it will affect the foundation's radiant appearance. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the glow-y kind of look *so everyone ;)*" —Heather Get it from Amazon for $9.95+ (available in 14 shades). * Shoutout To Whatever Witch Created These 34 Beauty Products With Straight Up Magical Results * Inexpensive Beauty Products To Keep Your Hair, Skin, And Nails In Tip-Top Shape * If You Think Real Beauty Results Only Happen When You Spend Tons Of Money, These 40 Items Are Here To Prove You Wrong * Korean Beauty Products That Are So Good You Might Shed A Tear When They Run Out * Reviewers Over 40 Think These 37 Beauty Products Are Downright Amazing Plus, finds from Amazon, Soko Glam, and Walmart.
