Trump Torched As ‘Disgusting Little Man’ Over ‘New Low’ About Dead Troops

President Donald Trump drew fierce condemnation on Tuesday over social media posts about how many U.S. service members have so far been killed in his Iran war. After the American troops’ death toll rose to 18, Trump appeared to downplay criticism of the conflict, which he launched in February, by posting comparisons to the number of U.S. soldiers killed in wars launched by his predecessors. He first shared this list on his Truth Social platform: Trump later followed up with this graph, along with the demand: “These are the real facts. REPORT THEM!” Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), who has repeatedly criticized Trump (and who is no stranger to making disparaging comments about U.S. troops) for launching the war, among other topics, accused the president of “bragging about killing 18 US soldiers.” “Thats how I read this stupid posts,” she wrote on X. “The ‘peace president’ went to war and is killing and wounding our troops.” She concluded the post writing, “GFY,” internet slang for “go fuck yourself.” Trump is bragging about killing 18 US soldiers.Thats how I read this stupid posts. The “peace president” went to war and is killing and wounding our troops.GFY. pic.twitter.com/9qxEpSIlKu The press team for California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) also blasted Trump, calling him a “disgusting Little Man” and urging him to “treat our brave American soldiers with some respect.” Donald Trump is a disgusting Little Man! Treat our brave American soldiers with some respect. pic.twitter.com/QCoxqGS41U Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said “bragging” about “only” 18 service members “being killed in a reckless and illegal war” started by the president is “beneath contempt and a new low even for the likes of Donald Trump.” Bragging about ‘only’ 18 brave US service members being killed in a reckless and illegal war he started is beneath contempt and a new low even for the likes of Donald Trump. https://t.co/jferJl70EQ By entering your email and clicking Sign Up, you're agreeing to let us send you customized marketing messages about us and our advertising partners.
