BuzzFeed and our publishing partners may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page. Read More I don’t know about you but I’m tired of being drenched all the time — here are some solutions worth trying. I've spent the last four years as a Shopping Writer at BuzzFeed covering a wide range of topics, including but not limited to must-have Amazon products, personal care, home and organization, and more. BuzzFeed Shopping editor Maitland Quitmeyer says: "I have a similar cooling blanket because the fabric of my couch is gorgeous, but...gets VERY hot in the summer — they can make all the difference!" Promising reviews: "Sorcery! I don't know what makes this blanket work, and I don't care. The fact is that IT DOES!!! I overheat at night a lot because I live in Arizona. I got this blanket at the exact right time, and I'm THRILLED!!!" —Amanda Julia Hess "I run really hot and I have tried so many various blankets. Well, I am here to tell you, this is the one you need. I live in the southwest, where temperatures exceed 110 degrees regularly in the summer. I used to wake up sweaty every single morning, even with the AC on. Well, come to this blanket, and WOW, no more waking up sweating; you can ACTUALLY feel the cooling. Almost feels as if the blanket has a built-in AC. This is the blanket to get; stop searching and just order it. I promise you'll like it." —Brantley Rockwell Get it from Amazon for $20.86+ (available in five sizes and 13 colors). Promising reviews: "Cools like total freaky MAGIC!!!! Bought another set a week later because we love them so much!!!" —Stella Lee "Super happy with these pillowcases — both sides are fairly cool, but the cooling side never warms up, which is wonderful in 110-degree California summers. They do not smell (something I worry about with nontraditional linen fabrics). They do tend to get a little wrinkly, but since they zip up, they quickly smooth out." —Tonia Get them from Amazon for $13.94+ (available in three pillowcase sizes and in 14 colors). There's even a lift style if you want a little boost! Promising review: "I’ve tried so many nipple covers over the years, and these are just in a league of their own! They stick and don’t move (sweat, clothes, moisturizer, etc. — nothing budges them), but then they peel off so easily. It’s magic. They are completely seamless, and my husband (without prompting) said they looked like a second skin. I’ve got quite 'triangular' boobs, and they completely mold to the shape and look like I just have no nipples lol. Only when I’m suuuuuper cold does any level of nipple start to show through, and even then, it’s minimal. They’re more pricey than others I’ve bought before, but so worth it. The others were one-and-done — these have held up through multiple wears and are still in perfect condition. Will repurchase them as soon as they wear out, without a doubt! No more bras!" —Alison BuzzFeed editor Natalie Brown swears by these pasties! Check out her Nippies review to learn more. Get a set from Amazon for $26.50+ (available in five shades and three sizes: one that fits cups A–C, one that fits cups D+, and one that fits cups DD+). It's sleek and narrow, so it won't take up a ton of space in your room, and it looks surprisingly cool! It comes with a remote control so you can turn it on from your bed, and the LED lights turn off in sleep mode, so you don't need to worry about being disturbed. Promising reviews: "Cools like magic. Great fan. It’s super hot this summer, and I would not survive without it. Several speeds and functions. Quiet. Durable thus far, and it has run 18 hours a day every day since May. I didn’t think the remote was a big deal but now I wouldn’t want to be without it. Would recommend and buy again." —Javygirl "If I could rename this machine, I’d call it 'The Glacier.' Not only was it easy to put together-just attach the base. But the remote control comes with a battery and is ready to go when you plug it in... I wish I had known about this fan a long time ago. I’ve wasted so much money on loud box fans that just move heat around. Toss out your air conditioners and old fans. Best purchase ever!" —Elle Get it from Amazon for $89.93+ (available in two styles and four colors). My colleague Amber Usher swears by it: "Naturium is a staple in my body care regimen, so when I found out about this version, I knew I needed it immediately. I live in Georgia, and ever since I started using this body wash I've noticed a significant reduction in body odor throughout the day whether I'm outdoors gardening or doing my daily Hot Girl Walk. The scent is so light and fresh, and the cooling sensation is especially appreciated." Promising review: "When I say this works for BO, it’s magic. For someone living in a hot state, working in a hot job, always working out and sweating, this product keeps you in check ALL DAY! No skin irritants, no dryness, and I feel clean. The mint isn’t strong so you can feel the tingle, but not for long. I let it sit on my skin for at least three minutes before rinsing off. Best soap ever! I will continue to use this. Forget Dove antibacterial, forget Dial, BUY THIS!" —Shelby Get it from Amazon for $15.18 (also available in 10 other styles). The liners come with trimming guidelines so that you can cut the insert to your desired size. Promising review: "I love love love these! I’ve repurchased this exact pattern multiple times but the product itself is great for shoes that you can’t wear socks with but want to make last longer. I work in environment where I am constantly walking around, both inside and outside, so these are really great. They also add an extra grip for some of my mule type shoes. Super easy to clean as well, you just take them out throw them in with your wash and any smells or dirt come right out." —Quinn Holdridge Get it from Amazon for $9.32+ (available in two sizes [fits women's sizes 6–13] and four styles). Prefer briefs? Check out this similar seamless design with rave reviews! Promising review: "After trying these, the pursuit for the most seamless underwear ended with these, and I came to write that on my way to buy a second pack. I worked at VS for three years, what seems like forever ago, and tried every “seamless” thong under the sun- at the store and otherwise- all of which rolled, were still visible, or the liner was not cotton, which just feels gross by the end of a workout or the end of the day. These aren’t that. They DISAPPEAR under all the workout attire. Anti-camel toe… HELLO?!?! They don’t hold sweat. They don’t roll. They don’t move around. I just had my fourth baby and first C-section a couple of months back, and these are wide enough in the front. What is this panty sorcery? I threw out everything else from anywhere else. Follow the size guide. I washed in warm water upon arrival, even with the red in the pack, and none of the colors bled. I’ve washed 2x, and they look the same as when I first opened the box. They’re wildly comfortable for a thong from someone who despises every thong and even other styles of underwear I’ve ever tried. Picky lady problems, the list went on. Always something wrong about them on my body. NOT THESE! What!?!! I work out in these, run errands, housework ahhhh — they’re my new go-to that I ditched everything else. Comfy, sexy, stretchy, actually so seamless that they don’t exist under clothing, and a fantastic deal… It’s sorcery, I’m convinced." —Ebony Get a set of six from Amazon for $24.98+ (available in women's sizes XS–4X and 10 color combos). Promising review: "I will never buy another pair of warm weather PJs again other than these. I am a thirty-something post-baby lady, and with my hormones paired with living in Arizona, I needed PJs that were cool and comfortable. But I often found that the fabric of other PJs would rapidly get worn, pilled, and rough. These silky soft PJs have been going strong for months now through countless hot flashes and heat waves when it would get into the 80s in our bedroom. If you are a hot-blooded person and need to cool down, I can't recommend these PJs enough. I literally never leave reviews but felt compelled to preach to others the good word of Latuza's PJs." —Margery Get it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in women's sizes S–4XL and 20 colors). It comes with a long 7.7-foot power cord and a 12-volt cigarette lighter plug. Promising review: "Perfect for children and pets! I have this hooked up in my 2016 Chevy Cruze. The plug-in part is long enough to be hidden along my seats and plugged into the outlet. I love the fact that I can manually control the speed of the fans right at my fingertips. This is perfect for any smaller car or SUV that doesn’t have AC flow to the back. We live in the South and it gets extremely hot in the backseat, so it takes a while to cool down. I highly recommend this!" —Alexandria Promising review: "Love these. Bought them in addition to another brand to compare and these win. They stay in place and are very absorbent – no more sweat dripping down my face, and I sweat a lot when I work out! They are thick and have just the right amount of stretch." —Kelsey T. Get a set of six from Amazon for $13.99. Promising review: "This is one of those things that I wish I'd found years earlier. I've suffered from mortifying stress-induced under-boob sweat for most of my adult life. Also, I'm a lifelong Seattle girl who gets upset when it's warmer than 65 degrees outside. So when I stumbled upon this product, I was curious enough to buy a small pack. And yes, I've come back for MORE! For real, I won't put on a bra without one of these liners now. It absorbs all the moisture from heat and stress. And because it's a really soft bamboo/cotton mix, my skin is finally not feeling tortured under there! To the makers of this ingenious life-changing product: thank you, thank you, thank you! Sincerely, all the grateful ta-tas you've helped to care for" —Niko Get a three-pack from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in women's sizes M–XXL and various color combos). Megababe is a woman-owned small business from entrepreneur, body acceptance advocate, and influencer Katie Sturino. Promising review: “Works amazing. Doesn’t really have an odor and helps keep me dry and from getting rashes under and around my boobs from my bras and bathing suits. This is my second time purchasing this product and it will not be my last. I love that I’ve found this company that has such great practical solutions to many of my feminine issues." —JMJA Family Promising review: "I got these to make ice cubes that I could fit into hot water bottles to make 'cold water bottles.' I'm in the big heat wave, and it's been over 100 every day for the last week with no sign of it letting up any time soon. These are quick and easy, and the cold water bottles have been the only thing helping me sleep in a room anywhere between 80–90 degrees at night. I love the lids! It makes my ice trays easy to stack and more secure. I wish all ice trays came with lids like this!" —A.J. Stark Get a set of three from Amazon for $9.99+ (available with or without covers). The heavy-duty clamp opens up to 1.75 inches. Promising review: "Perfect shade from the Florida sun. I’ve looked at all sorts of contraptions to get some shade at the beach. This one is the only one that you can put up and carry by yourself. The umbrella attaches easily to the chair and can move as the sun does to ensure you don’t get burned. I’ll be getting another one for my pale friends to use. I love the pattern, too!" —Missy Get it from Amazon for $24.99+ (available in two sizes and six colors). Promising review: "Very durable metal! Solid yet easy to carry. Folds back into the carry bag so quickly and easily! Great for busy moms or solo beach days! It fit this reclining beach chair perfectly with plenty of adjustable space. It held in place all day on the windy beach. Even the ties for the back stayed in place with the wind! Protected me from the sun but allowed for plenty of visibility and adjustment was easy as I reclined or as the sun moved. Very wind resistant! Love the black to block the sun to read or check my phone." —Faith1212 Get it from Amazon for $34.99+ (available in two sizes, six colors, and in packs of two). It comes with the flexible tubing, brass and stainless steel mist nozzles, a hose washer, and hanging snap clips. Promising review: "I love spending time outside, and we entertain on our patio, too. But when it's over 100 degrees outside, nobody feels like visiting. Until now!! I bought one and liked it so much I ordered another to cover both patios. They lower the temps to a more moderate level in just moments and don't use 100 gallons of water doing it! I put mine along the top of our privacy fence and then put a fan in behind it and made it almost like having an AC unit outside. They're easy to put up and take down and come with convenient hanging hooks! I read the reviews people wrote about the heads getting stopped up, and they WILL, but as a plumber I'll tell you a trick to keeping them working like new: vinegar. Just remove the heads and soak them in a little straight vinegar, then use a small bristle brush like a toothbrush or nail brush rinse them off, and replace them in the mister tubing, and they should be like brand new." —Sonya Combs Get it from Amazon for $16.96+ (available in several pack sizes). Promising review: "We moved from New Hampshire to Florida a year and a half ago. I knew Florida was hot but…I bought this so I could sit out on the lanai on the hottest of days (95+) and it did the trick! It provides a nice light mist that you can move in any direction. It’s a nice weight so it doesn’t move. It obviously cannot replace a swimming pool but it will keep you cool. My dog likes the light mist and has even fallen asleep while being sprayed! An easy alternative until we get a pool! Buy it, you won’t regret it!" —Patricia Harty Get it from Amazon for $21.82 (also available in multipacks). Thigh Society is a woman-founded, size-inclusive small biz from Marnie Consky. BuzzFeed Shopping editor Chelsea Stuart loves these: "I recently bought two pairs of these — in black and nude — and I am simply in love. Chub rub has always been a part of my life and until now, I didn't have a great way of preventing it. I've tried various sport shorts and slathering my thighs in deodorant but those methods just weren't cutting it. These shorts are unbelievably lightweight and breathable, superrrrrr stretchy (but not in a way that bags out after extended wear), and they do. not. roll. or. fall. down. I wear them under all of my skirts and dresses (because I also have an irrational fear that everything I wear is see-through when the sun hits it) and I will definitely be buying more!" Promising review: "I bought these to wear under dresses for a trip to Europe because it was supposed to be really hot, and they worked great. They were light, stretchy, and there was no chafing. Maybe not the most moisture wicking, but they were very comfortable, and I wore them several times." —Meghan O'Leary Get it from Thigh Society for $39+ (available in women's sizes XS–6XL, 11 colors, and in six lengths — not all colors/lengths available in all sizes). These also come in a pocket style, which offers a bit more coverage than the sheer cooling style! The rechargeable fan lasts for up to 16 hours, and it has six different speed settings. Reviewers say it's especially great for people who work outside all day and still need their hands free to do tasks. Promising review: "This fan works so well! I was worried with how hot it is in the South that it wouldn't keep me cool when I go on walks in 90+ degree temps, but on the strongest wind setting it produces a nice blast of air! I love it! It does make it hard to hear, but it's worth it to keep me cool. Would recommend." —Aaron Johnson Get it from Amazon for $21.59+ (available in two colors). Promising review: "Bought this after seeing it on TikTok, and wow. Where has this been all my life? A portable charger (extra, because I already have one), a fan with two settings (this kept me cool during my brother’s outdoor college graduation), and a flashlight (perfect for finding my phone when I drop it in my car). It’s a great little thing that adds that extra EXTRA-ness to your life." —aae Get it from Amazon for $15.37+ (available in six colors). Promising review: "I have had this pool for about two weeks now and I LOVE IT!!! Was simple to set up, I got a little electric pump and it took about 10 minutes to inflate, then about half an hour to fill with water. Pay attention to make sure you set it up on level ground or it will be lopsided. I live in South Carolina so it is already hot and humid, and I use it about every afternoon. It is probably good for two adults, maybe one adult and a couple of kids. The built-in seat and headrest are really quite comfy and relaxing. I will definitely buy this same pool again if it springs a leak and can't be fixed, if I could give it 10 stars, I would. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!" —Kathryn J. Psst to anyone breastfeeding — many reviewers mentioned that the deep sleeves in this also made it easier to breastfeed at home! Promising review: "I LOVE these shirts. I live in Arizona, where it is hot 50% of the year, and these are so nice and breezy! Great for working out and great for breastfeeding! I love that they’re dual-purpose for me. I went hiking with one on, and my friend liked it so much on me that she purchased some herself!" —Elizabeth Get a three-pack from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in women's sizes XS–XL and in 19 colors). Promising review: "Even with using prescription-strength anti-perspirant, I will have pit stains within an hour of putting on a shirt. Because of this, I have almost exclusively worn black shirts for years. But no longer! I bought two of these shirts to try out and can now go all day long with no pit stains! I even tried going on a long walk with a sweater on and did not sweat through it. These shirts are very comfy and are thin enough to be able to wear under another top without having visible lines. This shirt is worth every penny." —K.M. Get it from Numi for $65 (available in women's sizes XS–1X and seven colors). Fresh Body is a small business that specializes in personal care products like anti-chafing sticks, wet wipes, and spray-on washes. Your gym bag is gonna love this stuff. Promising review: "This stuff is amazing. I am a sweaty person. Apparently, I have no thermostat because, randomly, I will just start sweating, and it's a lot. Well, I ended up with yeast under my breasts, and it gets red and sore. After you shower, dry off really well and apply this cream (a little dab will do ya) under your breasts and say goodbye to the inflammation and soreness. I also use it on the 'down there' region, too. I will be buying this forever." —Deb Warwick Get it from Amazon for $13.99 (also available in multipacks). The formula is aluminum-free, so it won't stop sweating, but the tapioca powder can help absorb it. Happy Nuts is a small business specializing in grooming products. Promising review: "This stuff is 5–10 times better than regular powder! It instantly soothes irritation, deodorizes after a shower, and quiets the chafe after long sessions on the treadmill. I can't recommend it enough! Stop buying/using Gold Bond and other similar powders, and start using this. I'll be buying two more tubes in the near future." —Devin G. Get it from Amazon for $14.98 (available in four scents, including unscented, and in multipacks). Read more about how temperature therapy can help with migraine prevention at Mayo Clinic. Y'ALL! I've been a chronic migraine sufferer for years so I was skeptical that this ice pack would be any better than others I've tried. Thankfully, I was wrong. It's not flimsy at all and has some good weight to it while still being super soft and flexible. In addition to 360-degree cold (or heat!) therapy, it also provides *gentle* compression that's wonderfully soothing when a headache hits. You can pull it all the way down to cover your eyes (🎶 hello darkness, my old friend 🎶) or push it slightly upward to sit on your forehead, which means you'll still be able to see and do things if needed. I also LOVE not having to balance an ice pack on my forehead while trying to get some relief. The included freezer bag keeps it nicely contained so it doesn't come out smelling like all the frozen foods it's stored with. Promising review: "I heard about it on TikTok, and I was skeptical. I put it in the freezer as soon as I got it in the mail. Then, out of nowhere, I felt a headache coming on. I pulled it out of the freezer, slipped it on, and I passed out. When I woke up, my migraine was gone. I now go to bed with it on almost every night. I love that it's a blackout mask. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!" —TheWalkFam Get it from Amazon for $29.95+ (available in five colors). Promising review: "If you have night sweats, you need to buy these sheets. I do and I bought a set. No more night sweats for me." —Linda Leynes Get a set of queen sheets from Amazon for $64.79+ (available in sizes twin–Cal. king and in 24 colors). Promising review: "I LOVE this mattress pad. I let it breathe as directed. Living in Florida, I find that my bed is always hot at night. I have been using this for a week, and I can feel the coolness of this mattress pad any time I wake up in the night. It is very comfortable also, adding a pillow feel to my bed. There is also a lot of space for any depth of mattress. I have a regular width mattress and I can easily tell a pillow top would be covered just as well. Well worth the purchase!" —Julie Santello Get it from Amazon for $23.99+ (available in sizes twin–California king and three colors). Promising reviews: "Fantastic on hot days to roll over face, eyes, cheeks, and neck area to cool down for heat relief (and prevent headache triggers). Reviewers with straight/fine, thick/wavy, and kinky/curly hair types say it works for them. Kitsch is a woman-owned accessory brand that was founded in 2010. They also sell cute scrunchies, cloth face masks, satin pillowcases, and more. Promising review: "These satin scrunchies are basically the MVP of my daily routine. They’re soft, gentle, and do not leave that angry little dent in your hair that makes you look like you lost a fight with a rubber band. My hair stays smooth, frizz is calmer, and I can wear them all day without feeling like my scalp is being slowly tortured. I reorder them monthly because I genuinely do not know where they go. I suspect they are being stolen by laundry gremlins or possibly my car seats. Either way, I keep coming back because they are the only hair ties that behave like civilized members of society and not tiny torture devices." —Marie Phillips Get a five-pack from Amazon for $7.94+ (also available in many other colors/styles). Reviewers with fine and long/thick hair say it works for them Promising review: "I've been loving this set of hair claws. I have fine but thick hair that I blow out, and I can't stand having hair in my face. These work effectively to do a half-updo or put all of my hair up in a twist. They can fit a good amount of hair and feel sturdy. I use them daily!" —Julia Get a three-pack from Amazon for $7.99+ (available in two sizes and color combinations). FYI, depending on your situation, water may be enough to rehydrate you! Read more about electrolyte-enhanced drinks and hydration at Cleveland Clinic. Promising review: "Liquid I.V. does an amazing job hydrating. I purchase their product for 40+ employees who work in a construction-related industry. Hydration is so important while working in the hot Georgia sun, and this product aids in this 100%. Now, let’s talk about the firecracker flavor! When we produced these for our crew, ages 23–60, all of their eyes lit up, and they were super excited. Many of them did not know this flavor existed. Quite honestly, I didn’t either until I came across them on Amazon. They all loved the flavor. In particular, the ones who were older kept telling me it tasted like their childhood. Seriously, who hasn’t stood outside an ice cream truck ordering the Firecracker Popsicle?" —Disney Diva Get a 16-pack from Amazon for $23.28 (available in many flavors). Promising review: "I have a room that is extremely hot in the spring and summer. Awesome!!" —Denise Davis Get it from Amazon for $59.99 (available in white or bronze and in two sizes). BuzzFeed Shopping editor Jenae Sitzes says: "Hi, I own these in (*checks Amazon order history*) FOUR colors now, and I feel like I'll just keep adding more colors to my collection over time. I LOVE these shorts and first bought them after seeing a recommendation from our own Emma Lord (who's a regular runner). As usual, she was right: These feel like a steal for how good they are. I'm a pear shape — aka my hips and bum are much wider than my top half — so I've always struggled to find athletic shorts that are long enough and don't ride up while I'm running or squatting, but that are also fitted around the waist and don't leave that awkward gap. These fit the bill perfectly. I also love the side zipper and spacious pocket, perfect for tossing in my keys and a card/cash, though even my bulky Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra phone fits inside too." Promising review: "DO NOT WALK….RUN! Better than all my Lululemon shorts EASILY! These shorts look great while being so comfortable. I do CrossFit and I felt covered the whole time, but didn’t feel like I was being suffocated, the fabric is so breathable, the zipper is a perfect size, I love everything about these shorts. I’ve told everyone who will listen, these are THE shorts everyone needs." —MadelineVanHoose Get it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in women's sizes XS–3X and 33 colors). I have been wanting a nice ball cap, but since I normally have my hair up, I couldn’t find one that worked till this came along on my TikTok, and I knew I had to get it. And I was so happy I waited till it was in stock again. I just love this hat. I wasn’t sure about the size but just went for a small/medium size since I thought that would fit, and it’s just perfect when my hair is up. I am so happy." —Naysa H Get it from Amazon for $64.57 (available in women's sizes 3XS–XXL in five colors, and many other styles) or from Ponyback for $54 (available in youth sizes S–L and women's sizes XS–XXL and in five colors).
