11-Year-Old Becomes First Kid to Read 100 Hours to Shelter Pets

Eleven-year-old Nehemiah from Florida is the first child to ever complete 100 hours of reading to pets at his local animal shelter, the Jacksonville Humane Society. The young boy has been working on his goal for two years and says he especially loves to read to dogs in hopes that it helps them feel calm and find homes faster.
