"It got to the point where students were asking to be switched out of my class, and I could not teach my lesson if he was there. These were boys between the ages of 11 and 14, different races, different socioeconomic backgrounds, and as far as I knew, all cishet. I keep wondering when I’ll have had enough and quit, but I’m so invested in my career now that I don’t know what else I would do."

"I am incredibly concerned about how this behavior will continue to be expressed as they grow older. When I was their age, about a decade or so ago, I also dealt with misogynistic comments/behavior from male classmates who also did not face consequences for it. Makes me feel incredibly pessimistic about the future."
