One reviewer said this mascara looked *perfect* the morning after a bottle and a half of wine and ugly crying — just sayin’.

Laboratoires Embryolisse is a French skincare brand based in Issy-les-Moulineaux.

Promising reviews: "I love the moisturizer. It is very hydrating and moisturizing, especially for my mature skin. It feels a little oily, which I like. Surprisingly, it is a very good base under makeup. Definitely good for dry skin. Lasts all day." —Teddy

"I’ve repurchased this moisturizer multiple times. It leaves my skin feeling soft, hydrated, and smooth without feeling greasy. It works beautifully under makeup and helps create a flawless base. A little goes a long way, and it gives my skin a healthy glow throughout the day. Great for dry or combination skin, especially when you need extra moisture. Highly recommend!" —Julissa

One side is the curved wing stamp, and the other is a regular fine tip liner for defining the rest of the eye. It comes in a pack of two; one for each eye.

The Flick Stick comes from New Zealand–based brand and small biz, Lovoir Beauty.

Promising reviews: "I am not kidding you when I say this is amazing eyeliner. It’s really easy to use, the stamp is great, and it gives you clean lines. I have worn this for two funerals for family members and sobbed through both — it lasted! Last week, I had this on when I went into labor. It lasted two days in the hospital with just a slow fade. It’s a great investment!" —Meghan M Regan

"I am a believer!!! I didn’t know which size would suit me best, so I purchased the assorted sizes. My eyes are VERY sensitive, and as I’ve gotten older, they tend to water A LOT, especially when I’m tired. I thought wearing eye makeup was but a memory. I really did not think this would work, but this product did not sting my eyes, and stayed on despite yawning, and eyes watering, or tears of emotion. From the time I put it on to the time I remove it, it stays put (12+ hours). Chanel, Too Faced, Clinique, Thrive, E.l.f. — they ALL melted and/or gave me panda/raccoon eyes. I am in awe and amazed! I do not wear makeup to work because of the panda/raccoon eyes; this product changes EVERYTHING! I hope this company does not change the formula because I plan to purchase more!" —Oweary1

Promising review: "This is the ONLY product that has worked to keep my winged eyeliner on and not split from lid grease by midday. I put it on my eyelids after washing my face, let it dry a bit, then apply makeup as usual — including black liquid eyeliner. I will ALWAYS buy this. Lasted an entire day of flying, even. That’s impressive." —zevarina

Elizabeth Mott is a Korean American, woman-owned biz!

Promising reviews: "I wore this primer under my foundation (Nars and Maybelline Fit Me), along with setting spray (Nyx) in this photo [above right]. I had been dunked in the pool two times and went down a giant slide that caused me to go underwater three times. This was the result of my makeup! Love this product. A little goes a long way!" —Ryan Brooks

"OK. So I have really oily skin. Like it's oily a few hours after I wash it. It has been 10-plus hours since I applied this, and it's STILL matte and has not been oily ALL DAY. My makeup has looked awesome! I've tried so many products, and this stuff LASTS, and your oily skin doesn't break through. LOVE THIS!!" —Shelly

Y'alllll...when I tell you this powder does absolutely everything a setting powder should do, I'm not exaggerating. I was, indeed, influenced by TikTok to buy this (and it was actually somewhat of a ~gateway product~ for me — I started giving trending TikTok products much more credit after this). I've tested this out in all kinds of events and in varying climates. I'm talking clubs, formal events, brunches, and anything from hot, humid days to cold, dry weather. This checked all the boxes every time. It kept my skin blurred all day, it didn't feel dry, it didn't get cakey, and it made my under-eye area look soft and *bright*. 10/10, no notes!

Promising review: "My skin is on the oilier side, and this product saved my life, especially on camera. It is flawless, reduces shine, and doesn't make you look splotchy. It goes on flawlessly on top of my other products and feels so light. 100000/10. I've used so many powders, and this product makes your skin look airbrushed in real life." —Marissa Pizzuto

Honestly, I don't think TirTir is ever getting rid of me. I have a particularly oily T-zone, and I've noticed that this setting spray truly does help control excess sebum and keeps my forehead from looking like a glazed donut. It also leaves a natural, satin finish with a soft sheen to it, which I LOVE. As someone who is way too lazy for touch-ups when I'm out and about, I appreciate that my glam stays locked👏 in👏 with this.

Promising reviews: "I swear to you, this stuff is magical. My makeup never budges when I use this, and I don’t have to use that much. You can take it off with micellar water pretty easily, but I’m telling you I have ugly cried with this over my makeup, and my makeup stayed. the. same. It’s the best. It also has the nicest bottle; it sprays really evenly over your face, and if it has any flaw, it’s probably that it makes your makeup a little too dewy, but I usually use a little powder over the parts of my face I don’t want to be highlighted, and it works like a gem. Also definitely blurs my makeup very well. 10/10 would recommend!!!!" —Jennifier Moore

"I've fallen in love with this setting spray. It leaves the skin looking fresh, not shiny. It locks in makeup. The nozzle provides a very fine mist. I think it's replaced my Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray." —Michelle

Promising reviews: "Best under eye brightener I have ever used. Great for mature skin. Use it daily with or without makeup. Lasts all day and makeup blends well with it." —CBoudreau78

"I have hollow dark under-eye circles, and concealer never works for me bc it just makes my under eyes dry and doesn’t conceal the darkness. THIS STUFF IS MAGIC. It has a very hydrating formula, and a tiny bit goes a very, very long way. I’m so impressed and incredibly happy with this purchase!" —Val

Promising review: "One of the best concealers I’ve used. It has a lightweight formula that can be built up easily for the coverage you need without feeling heavy on the skin. It lasts all day while keeping the skin hydrated and comfortable, never looking dry or cakey. The pigmentation is excellent, and it comes in a wide range of shades to suit different skin tones perfectly." —MP

Promising review: "Where has this mascara been all my life? I really like it a lot. I have light colored, very fine lashes that are short and straight. (Lucky me. Lol). I really like this for giving length without my lashes looking spidery or clumpy. My lashes look natural and a lot longer than they do when I use other mascaras. There’s no flaking or smudging... It’s non-budging and does not weigh my lashes down either." —Darling Dumpling

Promising review: "This is a game changer for those seeking a natural, dewy complexion without the heaviness of a traditional foundation. The first thing that struck me about this is its sheer coverage and lightweight finish. It glides onto the skin effortlessly, giving a light wash of color to even out the skin tone. I use concealer to cover up dark marks and my hormonal acne. I love wearing this every day because its lightweight formula is a breath of fresh air compared to heavy foundations that can leave your skin feeling suffocated.

"One of the standout features of this product is its ability to deliver a radiant glow that looks both natural and healthy. It's like capturing the perfect 'lit-from-within' look without the need for highlighters, foundation, or a lot of extra products. It's really a one-and-done! The subtle shimmer in the formula catches the light beautifully, giving your skin a luminous boost that lasts all day.

"In conclusion, this is a fantastic choice for those who want a sheer, lightweight, and radiant finish that's leagues ahead of heavy foundations. It effortlessly achieves a natural and healthy glow that enhances your beauty." —Michelle

Promising reviews: "Rare Beauty honestly never disappoints! I'm always worried and hesitant to switch foundations, because of them breaking out my skin and the coverage. This baby does it all! 3-IN-1 primes, covers, and sets all in a lockable package! One pump is the perfect amount for a buildable coverage. It didn't budge all day long in 90-degree Texas humidity, which is pretty impressive! The shades seem to run light, so definitely try in store if possible." —LaLaTob

"I’m honestly so impressed with this foundation — it really lives up to being self-priming and self-setting because it goes on so smoothly and doesn’t need much prep at all. The coverage is buildable but still looks super natural with that soft matte finish that blurs everything without looking heavy. It feels completely weightless on my skin, like I’m not even wearing foundation, which I love for everyday looks. The pump is also amazing because it gives you the perfect amount of product and locks, so it’s not messy at all. Overall, it’s such a staple product for me, and I’m obsessed." —beca676767

Promising reviews: "This cushion exceeded my expectations! The coverage is flawless but still feels light on the skin. It blurs imperfections and evens out my tone without looking cakey or dry. I love how long it lasts — my makeup stayed intact through a full day of errands and humidity. Shade #29 is a beautiful match for my neutral undertone, and the compact is sleek and travel-friendly. Definitely a new favorite in my routine." —Tina

"I LOVE this mini compact, dries like a dream and really great for those who love minimalist makeup. It hides bags, blemishes, dark spots — you name it! No need to carry to my entire vanity on vacation, I’ll just be taking this and some setting spray. Skeptical at first trying Korean foundation on darker skin but it’s beautiful. Hope all tan baddies definitely give this a try! Looks and dries like healthy skin, doesn’t look superficial or textured and adds a healthy dew to the skin. As for longevity I believe a regular day of work and home it stays put and looks just as good as when you originally put it on. If you plan on sweating or working out of course use a setting powder upon application but it’s a dream to work with and easy for beginners in makeup." —Slinky

Promising review: "My new favorite cream! For the first time ever, I don’t wear makeup anymore. Just this and a touch of under-eye concealer. It gets rid of my red blotchy skin! It lasts all day! It is lightweight and not greasy! I have oily, acne-prone skin, and it does not make me break out! In fact, it doesn’t clog my pores or look cakey! It makes my face look flawless! I can go 12 hours without any kind of touch-ups or powder or anything. I saw an Instagram influencer use another ridiculously priced brand, and I decided to try this one, and I love love love it! You only need a pea-sized amount, and it will last months!" —Brianna Olomua

Promising review: "Beautiful color, medium to thick texture, very lightly sticky, but some how hydrating? My lips don't get dry even after the gloss is gone. Color is lasting, doesn't leave gross build up on my lips. Delightful light cherry candy scent. Applicator is soft and feels nice, goes on evenly, not streaky. The overall packaging is adorable and unique. Lol I just love it. I carry it always, its a good go to. Lips feel plump and hydrated, gorgeous shine." —Abigail Haddock

Promising review: "I'm HORRIBLE at applying eyeliner, so this was a godsend. It's creamy, so it doesn't snag on your eyelid when you apply it, but it dries out in a minute or so, so it actually lasts all day. If I want a darker look, I put on black or navy eyeliner and then apply this on top — it smooths over the shakiness of the dark eyeliner, and looks a whole lot more interesting (like I actually put work into it, when I really didn't). I used to use a different liquid eyeshadow, but I found this and it works so much better — it stays on for a lot longer, doesn't fade, and actually reaches the lid line. Even though it stays on for a while (all day — 10+ hours), it comes off really easily with a wipe or miscellar water. It's great for covering mistakes or simply as a stand-in so you don't have to project to the world that you have no clue what you're doing with eyeliner." —Anonymous 1

Promising review: "I have the kind of eyebrows that look very full with brushing, but can quickly look like one has 'collapsed' once my hair or something else touches them. I’ve used nearly every product from Anastasia Beverly Hills, but I never had luck keeping my brows in place. Well, let me tell you, this stuff is no joke. I had to scrub my eyebrows clean tonight to get them to move. If you need some help holding your fluff, this will be your new favorite product. Also, I was able to ditch the eyebrow pencil since this stuff holds every hair in the place you brush it." —Bailey M, Deacon

Promising review: "This brow gel is hands down my favorite brow gel. The small applicator is perfect for shaping my brows naturally, giving them just the right amount of definition without looking overdone. The creamy, flexible formula adds volume, holds shape, and tames unruly hairs without any stiffness. It's so easy to apply, never flaky, and lasts all day. I love that the clear pomade keeps my brows in place without leaving behind that weird flaky or sticky residue after drying. This is a must have for effortless, natural looking brows." —raqu3el

Promising reviews: "I love this product. It works as intended without the darker outline for your lips. Not drying at all and lasts all day long!" —Sheri Paganie

"I love a clear lip liner because after your lipstick wears off, you don't have a red or pink ring around your mouth. With clear, you can outline the outer edge of your lips, and this ensures you cover your lips fully with lipstick and also helps make them look fuller as well as no bleeding into your fine lines." —Marianne

Promising review: "I was using another one from another brand before, which was more expensive, and I have to say that I prefer that one for sure. It's easy to take it with you, but honestly, it is not necessary because it can last all day! I really liked that it is so easy and quick to apply. Plus, it looks so natural." —Mel

BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord is committed to this lipstick. She writes: "Personally, I absolutely swear by this lipstick to the point that I haven't used anything else in years (my favorite is the muted pink 'Seductress'). I'm pretty bad at applying anything matte, but this formula and the applicator make it close to foolproof. It lasts a long time, and my lips never feel chapped or dry. I also like that when it does fade, it does it in a gradual way that doesn't look obvious or patchy and requires an immediate touch-up."
