Philippine sailor injured during clash with Chinese coast guard

A member of China’s coast guard is accused of injuring a Philippine sailor after striking him with a wooden baton during clashes in disputed South China Sea waters. Both sides have disputed the incident, which is set to feature in top-level talks in Manila this week.
