“So be cool. Don’t be all, like, uncool.” —The Countess Luann. But also me to everyone suffering in this heat

As a Deputy Editorial Director for BuzzFeed’s shopping team, I love to get into the weeds of why a product’s worth the money by deep diving into customer reviews, and product-testing as much as possible.

We're knee deep in the part of summer where you check your phone's weather app and say, "Ugh, 96 degrees again?" Which is what I actually said the morning that I'm writing this story. But we're trying to stay as cool as a cucumber out here, folks! Not only out of pure comfort but out of safety to avoid dangerous overheating. So let's cool down (at least temperature-wise) with some cooling products from a portable fan to chilly-to-the-touch bedsheets to a kiddie pool your dog's claws can't deflate.
