“I realized that she was full-blown stalking him, like true crime podcast level stalking.”

"Well, the kid was making dinner for herself. She saw on YouTube how to make fried chicken, and accidentally started a fire and burned herself (superficially, thankfully, she's ok). She left this child home alone for every date. Every overnight adventure we went on. My hospital incident. This kid was totally self-reliant — and that's not ok. She told me, before court, 'I did this for us! You wanted a daughter. I was going to introduce you once we became official!' Which.. would have been fine. Except she didn't tell me she even existed. And left her alone! There was no more 'us,' and the kid went to her aunt. Her mom went to jail for 90 days, which is the saddest part."

"Court records showed that every time my father tried to get in touch so that we could see him was when my mother moved. He had not left for the second wife like my mother had told me. It was because my mother had cheated.

He had tried to find me the whole time. Everything my mother had told me were lies. I saw the letters he had written to us that had been returned to sender unopened for years, and all kinds of court records that showed she was told by the court to let my father see us, and she kept us away every time he found us to punish my father. Now my stepmother is the closest thing I have to family left. I knew my mother had lots of boyfriends and was a vindictive and cruel person, but I had no idea she was capable of the things I found out. There is a lot more, but I think you get the idea. It was such a shock finding all this out and knowing my whole life had been full of lies, and even after my mother died, I am finding out things that are painful."

"Slowly she revealed she was demanding 'closure' from him. She was angry that he did this by text. Then she lied to me, saying she was going to meet him at 'their' spot (his spot that they went to together). I helped her choose a baddie outfit. Hours later, I asked how the conversation went. She said, 'Oh we weren’t meeting, I just wanted to show all his friends there how hard he fumbled me.'

So she went to his spot in broad daylight, drank a few beers to be seen, and left. But he never showed. Then she told me crying that she tried to give him his clothes back. At 11pm. He wasn’t there, but he saw her on the ring camera and threatened to call the cops. I guess they got into a screaming match through the ring. I guess she drives by a lot to see if she can 'catch' him so they can talk.

I can’t really say much more about this because I do think there is an active investigation. There’s a lot more than this, but yeah. Those are how I initially started to piece it together."

"They also wouldn't do his dishes and laundry, which he said was ableist as he has ADHD. We went to the pub as a group not long after this, and he started crying about his parents getting a new hot tub. He explained that it was really hard for him, as he wouldn't be getting any inheritance from them, because they were 'wasting' it all on themselves. No inheritance, of course, apart from the giant f—king house they'd just given him. I definitely thought a lot less of him after that. What a spoiled child."
