Bella: "In the bottle, it looked totally up my alley. It's so pigmented that it's actually nuts, and it was very jarring to put on at first. But that's good too — you really don't need much to get full coverage." Alana: "I'll admit that, at first glance, I figured because of the watery consistency, I would need to use A LOT of product to get enough pigment. That was not the case at all." Bella: "You really don't need to use much to get full coverage. I used a brush to apply it, and it really did not take away any pigment. It felt super comfortable on the cheeks. Didn't even feel it." Melissa: "Application was easy and forgiving. For the cheek tint, I used my blush brush to apply [Cherry Cola] and then just my fingers to apply [Pink Positive] — and both worked perfectly." Evelina: "I used my fingers and a sponge to blend, and my finger took on more color than my cheek. The instructions say to use a brush, so there may be some user error in these results." Alana: "I found the formula dries FAST, so you'll want to dab it in quite quickly after you apply it to your cheeks." Jill: "The color applies well and hasn't smeared or faded over the last five hours. I refreshed my makeup when I got home from work, and the color is still coming through nicely under fresh face powder and my chapstick." Melissa: "I thought these were great, and for $5, a total steal! The color payoff and wear-time were absolutely there (not always the case with tints that are more sheer). They didn’t feel drying, even after wearing them for hours." Bella: "After a while, I put lip balm on top, and I feel like the color didn't move at all." Jill: "I tried the 'Pink Positive' e.l.f. Blush + Lip Tint, and it is such a beautiful, bright pink shade! I'm writing this at hour five of wearing the product, and the color is still as fresh as the moment I put it on. The pink is just so vibrant. I felt bonita all afternoon. My nose and forehead got a little shine, my mascara smeared a little, but the tint remained vibrant on both my lips and cheeks. My partner complimented the color when I got home, too." Bella: "On the lips, it was slightly less comfortable, just a little sticky. But after about 10 minutes, I forgot I was even wearing it. After a while, I put lip balm on top, but I feel like the color didn't move at all. Looked slightly redder than burgundy on my face than the bottle, but a good product!" Alana: "I felt the tint, specifically on the lips, looked best when layered with another gloss or lipstick. That being said, because this is so long-wearing, I'm going to start wearing this under some of my other lipstick shades that aren't as long-lasting!" Melissa: "One of my go-to lip and cheek tints is what I consider the OG: Benefit’s Benetint. (Elder millennials know!) For the past decade, I’ve kept one in my collection and return to it when I want a subtle, rosy my-lips-but-better color. I also like Etude’s Water Tint in Cherry Ade for a deeper red. e.l.f.'s was more deeply pigmented — and therefore longer wearing and less subtle — than Benetint. It’s comparable to the Etude versions." Evelina: "I think I would replicate this by using my usual blush (YSL shade 44) and the Patrick Starr setting spray, which usually lasts a very long time. IDK that I need a blush tint that lasts through my cleanser." Bella: "I usually use Rhode blush, and I am unfortunately a victim of blush blindness in a pretty major way. I tend to use darker red colors." e.l.f. Sheer For It Blush Tint in "Cherry Cola" or "Pink Positive" is available for $5 (originally $6) on Amazon and the e.l.f. Cosmetics site.
