Because chafed thighs will have you wondering if summer is *actually* your favorite season.

I'm a Shopping Editor who uses my passion for hitting "add to cart" (and my 8+ years in media) to curate the best products on the web — I'm particularly passionate about finding the best beauty products, which probably stems from my days of working at Lush Cosmetics, where I learned about effective skincare ingredients while getting covered in bath bomb dust every day.

Summer is THE. BEST. Well, except for all the sweating. And the stinky feet. And the bug bites. And the body acne. OK...maybe there are some downsides to all that beach-ready weather (and I didn't even mention trying to get sand off of your body 😫). If you're looking for ways to keep your body's problems at a minimum this summer, I found a soothing post-shave body oil, a pair of chafe-resistant shorts, and convenient deodorant wipes that'll help you keep your cool all season long.

The two reviewer photos above were taken four days apart.

Promising reviews: "Absolute holy grail of lotions. This is my favorite lotion of all time. If you get a sunburn this stuff is awesome. It soothes the pain and prevents peeling and helps keep your tan. I also use it just for moisturizing after the shower and even for razor burn." —Jason R

"Holy grail of after-sun care. Best after sun care I have ever used! everyone in my family uses this, we all burn easily and this takes care of a sunburn almost over night and turns it into a tan!" —Amazon Customer

BuzzFeed Shopping writer Amber Usher is a fan: "Naturium is a staple in my body care regimen, so when I found out about this version, I knew I needed it immediately. I live in Georgia, and ever since I started using this body wash I've noticed a significant reduction in body odor throughout the day whether I'm outdoors gardening or doing my daily Hot Girl Walk. The scent is so light and fresh, and the cooling sensation is especially appreciated."

Promising review: "When I say this works for BO, it’s magic. For someone living in a hot state, work in a hot job, always working out and sweating, this product keeps you in check ALL DAY! No skin irritants, no dryness, and I feel clean. The mint isn’t strong so you can feel the tingle, but not for long. I let it sit on my skin for at least three minutes before rinsing off. Best soap ever! I will continue to use this. Forget Dove antibacterial, forget Dial, BUY THIS!" —Shelby

Promising review: "OMG, these should be standard issue to every human. I’ve bought them all: the cheap foot files, the expensive ones, the Ped Egg, and even a foot file from that direct sales nail wrap company. None of those remotely compare to this one. I thought I was reduced to course heels forever; no more! With just one use, my heels are fabulous! The callouses this thing removed was absolutely disgusting, but I couldn’t be happier. You won’t be disappointed!!" —JMart

You can also pair it with the brand's Pre-Swim Hair Defense — just smooth some through before you get in the water and rinse your hair in the shower once you're done!

Promising review: "This stuff is amazing !! I never write reviews, but I just have to spread the news! I'm a swim instructor, constantly in and out of the pool, and this has transformed my hair care! I'll never hesitate to get my hair in the chlorine again. The pre-swim product works great too!" —Mary Mac

Promising reviews: "I am prone to ingrown hairs. I have VERY coarse pubic hair and every time I shave, I get razor bumps and ingrown hairs as the hair starts to grow back. Very embarrassing. This has led me to lean more toward trimming that shaving. I decided to try to shave one more time — well, I used Nair and removed my pubic hair from my genital area. I used Fur Oil every day morning and night after the removal, and even as the hair grows back and beyond. I would also exfoliate the area about two to three times a week with a coffee scrub that I got on here. The hair has started to grow back with zero bumps or ingrown hairs. It has actually been over a month and still no issues. This has never happened to me before. I have never not removed hair down there and not had ingrown hairs and hair bumps. This is a new experience for me, and I am loving it. I have even removed hair again since then and still no problems. My only complaint is the size of the bottle, and the smell is so-so. It is a very small bottle for the price. I will continue to use this combination of products, though, because I know it works. I am satisfied." —In the know

"Recommended to me by my waxer. I was a little hesitant at first because it's pretty expensive, but I haven't had a single ingrown hair since using this oil. I am diligent on application of the oil, and it's been great. It lasts — I've been using it for about two months, and there's still a ton in the bottle." —Megan Harmeyer

Each pack comes with bandages to fit your heel, toe, and foot.

BuzzFeed Senior Shopping Writer Emma Lord loves these: "As a blister-prone human, I swear by these. A few years ago, before I invested in these running socks that prevent blisters, I got a blister on my big toe so unspeakably large and painful that I am cringing even TYPING about it, and no amount of rest from running seemed to heal it; it just kept coming back. I finally used one of these bandages, and the pain was virtually gone from the moment I put it on. It was also so airtight that nothing got inside, and it didn't loosen in the shower. You're supposed to take it off when it loses adhesive so it can come off gently without disturbing the blister if it hasn't fully healed yet. After using two of these in a row over the course of a week and a half, my blister was finally healed up enough that it stopped coming back."

Promising review: "So glad I thought ahead to buy these before going to Italy. I had new fashionable shoes and low-cut socks, and we did 10 times more walking than I had anticipated. I tried the shoes on for an hour and got a blister. Wore these for 10 days in Europe and had zero issues, total comfort, left them on for several days through showers. I’ll never travel without these again." —Paul Hinman

Promising reviews: "This is my go-to product after the gym. I hate feeling/being sweaty/sticky. And it smells so good." —Amazon Customer

"I have always suffered from bad odor on my underarms since I have very delicate skin, so I can't use strongly scented deodorants. I'm always trying out cream deodorant or gels, but it either irritates my skin or it doesn't stop my bad odor. THIS IS THE BEST INVENTION EVER. I LOVE IT! I can't believe that something finally works! My armpits don't smell bad. I can finally move my arms freely. The scent is wonderful; I love the smell, and it's not harsh on my skin. I would sweat THROUGH a sport coat before noon. Enter the Sweat Block product. I've had it for three weeks, and it is life-changing. I DO NOT sweat under my arms anymore. I'm still on the original box that I bought three weeks ago. I had to write a review after I was cleaning the garage today in 85-degree heat...I was sweating through my shirt on my back...BUT NOT MY UNDERARMS. It is amazing!" —Frosty McGee

"Holy grail. I switched over to aluminum free deodorant years ago. Since then I’ve been searching for one that would actually work and doesn’t give me a horrible rash. Within a few days it was cleared up and my armpits felt so good. Seriously this deodorant is amazing and smells wonderful." —Deanna and Alex

They don’t change how the hats fit either, because they’re very thin." —ponygirlatcua

Promising review: "When you live someplace that is hot and humid all summer and you don't have a car, just walking around the corner to the supermarket can be a very uncomfortable experience. This is the second summer that I have had one of these in my purse. Even if I feel OK outside, I can walk into a store and suddenly have a drop of moisture dripping down my face or worse, sweat in my eyes. Traditional handkerchiefs aren't easy to find anymore and tissues can leave bits of paper on your skin so these microfiber cloths are a great solution. They are soft, absorbent, thicker than ordinary handkerchiefs and they launder nicely. They feel nice and look nice." —sarany

It's way less wasteful and easier to carry around than a pack of oil blotting sheets — just pop out the stone roller to give a quick wash before reusing!

Promising review: "First off, if you have extremely oily skin, this. is. it. I was so tired of getting blotting powder/wipes. It felt wasteful and always left residue on my face. I saw this on TikTok and NEEDED it. It was backordered but then I got an email saying it was in stock and I was SO excited. Not only is it affordable, but it's washable, which helps you save money and be less wasteful." —Kelsey B.

Promising review: "I LOVE these oil-absorbing sheets! I tried them out a few years ago but haven't gotten around to writing a review until now. I've tried other blotting sheets, and they've either broken me out or just did not absorb all the oil. Every time I come back to these, I realize they are truly the best. I have SUPER-oily skin (and cystic acne, which I have the scars to show for) and this makes me feel sooo fresh and even calms down active pimples/acne." —Noopur D.

This works by suctioning up insect venom, saliva, and other irritants under the skin, which in turn prevents your body from producing a reaction to said irritant. You can also use it to treat bites from bees, wasps, biting flies, no-see-ums, chiggers, and sea lice.

Promising review: “You need this! I am a magnet for bites of all kinds and carry topical and medicines with me at all times – so I figured this would be a good product to see if it really works. I used this little tool (3x per the instructions) and documented it with photos. Immediately after using it, [my bite] stopped itching! And less than 24 hours later, the bump/bite was gone! There is a very faint red mark from using the thing, but it is a small price to pay, IMO. Bottom line: it’s awesome. I’m carrying it with me everywhere!” —Rebecca

Promising review: "So I decided to put these to the ultimate test for 4th of July underneath my white, semi-sheer swimsuit. I wore them out in the Florida heat in the ocean all day, and they did not budge or peel off. I thought for sure these would take skin off by the time I got home because I just couldn't believe they stayed on the entire day (humidity is real). I was able to remove them with ease. I washed them with warm water and soap and let them dry, and the next day, they were super sticky, like they were brand new out of the package again. Buying these forever." —Marisa
