It’s the small screen’s time to shine: This year’s Emmy nominations are here!

Previous winners Liza Colón-Zayas of “The Bear” and Jeff Hiller of “Somebody Somewhere” announced contenders for the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards on Wednesday morning, where they commended all the talent the television world has to offer.

Last year’s dominating drama, “The Pitt,” topped the list with 25 total nominations for the medical nail-biter’s sophomore season.

Apple TV+ sci-fi “Pluribus” was tapped for 18 nominations for its debut season.

Also in the running in the drama sector are the “Game of Thrones” spinoff “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,” the political intrigue-filled series “The Diplomat,” the spy saga “Slow Horses” and period piece “The Gilded Age.”

In the comedy realm, “Hacks” will take a bow with 24 nominations for its fifth and final season. If star Jean Smart wins the lead actress trophy, she’ll have swept the category for every season of the HBO series.

Creepy comedy “Widow’s Bay” will step into its first Emmys strong with 18 nominations.

Other big titles in comedy include longtime favorites like “Abbott Elementary” and “The Bear” along with newcomer “Margo’s Got Money Troubles.”

The return of “Beef” and HBO’s moody love triangle story “DTF St. Louis” led the one-season wonders in the limited series or anthology set.

To be eligible, projects had to be released from June 1, 2025, through May 31, 2026.

On Tuesday, “Law & Order” icon Mariska Hargitay was named as host for the main ceremony, which will take place Sept. 14 at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles. An Emmy winner herself, the NBC veteran will be the award show’s first female host in 15 years.
