Listen to this thirtysomething: You need this stuff!

As a BuzzFeed Shopping editor, my goal is to find all the products actually worth buying.

Now that I'm halfway through my 30s, I can look back and reflect on all the ways I needlessly suffered. Life would have been a lot smoother if I had a dishwasher magnet in my first apartment, my hair a lot silkier if I had the right leave-in conditioner, and my lunch a lot less sad with a portable Crock-Pot.

One end has a squeegee, so after you scrub down the shower glass with the sponge, you can flip it over to remove any streakiness.

You only need to buy the handle once and can use any Magic Erasers for refills, as long as they have the wavy edges. Get eight refills in a lavender scent for $12.94, or twelve unscented extra durable for $13.31.

Promising review: "I love this thing! The handle makes it so much easier to wash the walls in my shower. No more grinding my knuckles against the shower wall as I'm cleaning it. Just a handle and an easy glide. They are thick and sturdy and the normal size of a Magic Eraser. I was hoping they would be thicker, but I'm okay with it. I'm definitely a fan and will buy it again!" —Dawne

Get a device and two refills from Amazon for $12.94.

Promising review: "I have been using this at work for a couple of weeks now and it’s great! It’s allowed me to bring all kinds of meals to work. I just plug it in about an hour before I plan to eat, stir it a couple of times and enjoy a gently and evenly warmed meal. If I get interrupted I just put the lid back on and it keeps my food warm till I get back. No odor while warming so I’ve even been able to bring fish without offending anyone. The unit is very easy to clean as well. So glad I found this product!" —Nana Harris

It's super quick to install, and one cartridge can last up to three months! Since this uses bleach, you might want to avoid it if you have a septic system.

Promising review: "I used to use those deodorizer tablets for all my toilets in my home, and they worked. However, the chemicals from the tablets would harden the plastic/rubber flap valves in the toilet and cause them to slowly leak overnight. My water bill would be high every month. Once I switched to the Fluidmaster 8300 dispenser, keeping my toilets clean and odorless became easy. Plus, maintenance on my toilets decreased! The cartridges last three months, and replacing them requires no tools. Highly recommend." —Mikiloti

Snug Plugs is a small business that specializes in home improvement products.

Promising review: "I saw Snug Plug on TikTok and immediately ordered them. I have outlets at home AND at work that I couldn't keep anything plugged into because they're so loose. Snug Plug quickly and easily solved that problem and now I can finally have a phone charger in my den. Yay! I highly recommend this product." —KSay

Get a 60-page pad from Amazon for $7.95.

BuzzFeed Shopping editor Emma Lord swears by these: "The moldable silicone of Mack's Earplugs contours easily to the shape of your ear to block out noise much more effectively than other foam or plastic varieties, and the noise reduction is so good that if I pair them with a white noise machine (or just like a white noise loop on Spotify), I genuinely don't hear noises from outside my room. Not only that but once they're in place, they stay locked there until you decide to pull them out.

Granted, I can still hear my alarm, and like, if the fire alarm went off or something, I'd definitely wake right up. But noises that are distant and loud are pretty easily canceled out by these.

I've also *loved* these for traveling — if you put these babies in on a plane, not only does it help reduce some of the YIKES factor when the plane takes off (it's loud!!), but it cancels out the murmuring noises of passengers on the flight and makes it easier to get some shut-eye."

Promising review: "I love this tinted lip balm! It gives my lips the perfect wash of color while keeping them super soft and hydrated. The texture is smooth and lightweight — not sticky at all — and it feels like I’m just wearing a nourishing balm, but with a natural lipstick look. The tint is buildable too, so I can swipe once for a subtle glow or add more for a deeper pop of color. It’s perfect for days when I want a little something without doing a full face of makeup. Plus, it’s great for touch-ups on the go. Highly recommend if you want moisture + color in one easy step!!" —J.P.

Get it from Amazon for $6.97 (available in five shades).

The 14-piece set comes with: two glass bowls, three reusable silicone bags, six reusable stretch lids, and three reusable stretch wraps.

Promising review (for the reusable bag): "Amazing bag. Imagine a normal Ziplock bag, but with a thicker material and all the benefits of silicone. This bag is the most flexible and malleable silicone bag I've used. It's also transparent! I mainly use these to store my lunch, and utensils, and I must say that they really do a good job with that task. The size, shape, flexibility, softness, and ease of cleaning all play a factor in making this the best bag for my purposes. (Not to mention, the bag itself is super cute!)" —Chouxherbe

Promising review (for the lunch bowl): "I own four products from W&P, and despite the higher price, I won’t buy from any other brand. The glass bowl is sturdy, leakproof, and still looks brand new after long-term use. The glass is thick and durable, the silicone wrap protects it well, and it’s perfect for meal prep or travel. Quality and design easily justify the cost." —Kae

This cowash is meant to be used instead of shampoo and conditioner (learn more about cowashes here). It's good for all hair types, even dyed hair. It's detergent-, sulfate-, paraben-, and synthetic fragrance-free, and not tested on animals. To apply, cover your hair and scalp in the good stuff, attend to other shower needs, and then rinse out very thoroughly. (A scalp brush can help!)

Not to be dramatic, but I'm genuinely furious that I couldn't have this product growing up. This cleansing conditioner has completely changed my dry, frizzy hair for the better. I have fine, thin hair that always looks better the longer I go without washing it. I've tried other cowashes in the past, but they left my hair feeling limp and weighed down. This stuff gives me "washed my hair two days ago" shine right out of the shower. I always air dry my hair, and now it dries in loose ringlets that show my locks are happy and healthy. My hair has always been a source of stress for me (there's so little of it and it's so delicate) but for the first time ever I can truly say I love my hair. What a dream! While the $48 price tag for 8 ounces is pretty hefty, it's worth every cent in my book.

Get it from Ulta for $22+ (available in three sizes).

I actually doubted this formula's abilities and switched to a cheaper version when I ran out of my first bottle. My hair immediately felt drier and more unruly until I switched back. This + New Wash = compliment-worthy hair!

Promising review: "Love, love this product. Best hair product I ever tried; would recommend to all my friends." —Anonymous

Kitsch is an LA-based, woman-owned small business established in 2010 that specializes in hair accessories.

Promising review: "I didn't think this would work. My hair is thin-ish and doesn't hold curl that well. I burn myself nonstop with the curling wand, just to have my hair lose most of the curl. So I tried this. I followed the suggestions in the reviews and a few YouTube videos that said to do it with dry hair, and OMG MY HAIR WAS GORGEOUS the next day. A beautiful wave, my hair was silky and shiny, AND it lasted THREE DAYS!!! I brushed them out each day, so they loosened a bit but still VERY pretty. I may never use my curling wand again because I read you can put this in your hair for two hours, and it will work. The tighter you wrap your hair, the tighter the curl, so you CAN get different looks." —Janice Morse

Promising review: "We moved to a small home after living many years in a much larger home. So I had to get creative with storage since this house has very little. I keep seasonal clothes, blankets, coats, throw decorative pillows and blankets in these storage bags. They make storage for bedding so much easier and compact. We even use these storage bags in our RV. They are a great way to free up valuable real estate. We simply couldn't do without them." —gina

Promising review: “I have common Ichthyosis which is a skin disorder causing dry, scaly skin. Choosing an appropriate soap or similar is just not a pleasant adventure, but life will go on so I am taking swimming classes. I love swimming. I just started using the Bioderma Atoderm Shower Oil for a week and the results are just amazing. I have never experienced the softness and relief that this product has given my skin. I even use it on my face. The smell is soft and relaxing. I also use the Atoderm cream, so the results are even better. I highly recommend this product to everybody who wants to treat their skin appropriately. I am very happy with this shower oil.” —carmen stuyvesant

Promising review: "Okay, I don’t normally rave about things like this. I bought this on a whim in a last attempt to save my favorite duvet cover. The pills had gotten to the point where it was seriously uncomfortable to sleep, with them getting all up in my leg space. I thought I was going to have to get a new duvet cover entirely. Along came this lil' baby. Not only is my duvet cover basically brand new, but I have found a new hobby. I’m de-pilling everything. Sweatshirts, leggings, blankets, socks, anything that looks like it needs some love. It does the job quickly and leaves everything looking fresh. Hi, I’m obsessed. I can’t stop. I should send this back. I’ve started asking if my neighbors need anything de-pilled. I’m going to buy one of these for everyone in my life. Everyone needs to own this. Take it away from me." —Sydney Jensen

Promising review: "Love this mascara! I’ve used the 'best of the best' designer, super hyped, ultra-popular mascara available, and NOTHING compares to this stuff! I don’t even bother using a lash curler anymore! I buy two at a time, so I always have a spare. (Yes, it’s that good!!) I highly recommend this particular mascara...it goes on effortlessly, it lasts pretty much all day, and the price — I feel like I’m almost stealing it! I’d give it 10 stars if I could!!!" —chulaboola

Mouthwatchers is a small business established by Ronald Plotka, DDS, that specializes in antimicrobial toothbrushes designed to get deeper cleans even patients with "great" dental hygiene might miss with traditional brush and floss routines.

Promising review: "This was another one of my TikTok purchases! I was skeptical, but my kids hate flossing their teeth, so I thought this might help in between making them floss. They work amazingly! My kids said they could see and feel a difference on the first use, and I agree! They are definitely worth a try! I would suggest not pushing too hard; those tiny bristles really get in there. It felt like after going to a dental cleaning." —AN

Promising review: "I absolutely hate wearing socks but know how important they are for keeping shoes fresh. These insoles are the perfect solution! I’ve been using them daily, and they’ve made a big difference in comfort. Highly recommend these if you’re looking for a great alternative to socks!" —allison

"Between myself (medium long hair) and my overly fluffy cat, a lot of hair and fluff was continually getting caught up on the roller brush of my vacuum. I dreaded vacuuming because it took so long to pull and snip the hairs wrapped up on the roller brush out with scissors. Not anymore! This silly, little, inexpensive thing works great! Super quick to remove all the hair/fur — in virtually a minute, then back to vacuuming with my lovely Miele vacuum." —MKS

Just apply these to pimples after washing your face and let them go to work.

Promising review: "I have been using Mighty Patches for about four or five months now. Mighty Patch is a TOTAL GAME CHANGER; you put it on your blemish, usually at night after your beauty routine, and you wake to find that nasty pimple has almost completely been absorbed into the patch. Won't lie; my pimples sometimes require another patch. But on day one of use, you'll notice the patch taking away the nasty. At this point, your blemish may be at the last stage of healing, and the Mighty Patch sucked out all of the festering inducing mess, or like myself, I put on another patch the next night and again, more gunk taken out, and more healing has happened. Either way, regardless, this, to me, ALWAYS WORKS. Thanks to Mighty Patch, my skin has changed. It's healed, and there are no acne "tattoos" on my face from my popping and the scarring. This, to me, is a must-have in your beauty bag. It covers the pimple to protect it from outside bacteria and pollution; it absorbs the bacteria and pimple-causing debris from the skin, all while being hardly visible. I'm in love with this product." —Hilary

These adhesive strips can be reused, but I recommend sticking them to one bottle (or a notebook like the reviewer pictured above right) and refilling with new pills as needed.

Promising review: "I'm pretty good at remembering my meds, but having a tracker on the bottle means that I never have to second-guess myself. One less thing to worry about is gold these days. I love the design, too. It's just a little bit of plastic, very light, but the switch has a clicky mechanical action that feels like a throwback to a more analog era. Satisfying little snap every time. It's extremely simple and extremely effective; does exactly what I want it to do and nothing else. There's just something really satisfying about finding a tool that solves a problem efficiently and effectively. 5 stars well earned!" —Michael

Promising review: "Whenever someone I know has a sunburn, I become that super annoying product-pusher friend. I tell everyone about the sun soother! Really, Burt’s Bees should pay me. It rubs into the skin like lotion, so you don’t feel greasy, and you can immediately put on clothes after application. A little goes a long way! It smells good without being overpowering (and I’m picky about scents!). Most importantly, it works! I’ve had everything from slight burn to looks-like-a-lobster-feels-like-fire, and this sun soother has eliminated the pain/itch and drastically reduced the eventual peel. Even if it does peel later on, it’s minimal compared to what it would be and look like if I had not used this sun soother. I don’t burn easily and love this product; my husband is as fair as they come, and it’s his favorite sunburn solution as well. Highly recommend!" —Jessie Patterson
