This high chair can really do it all. It holds up to 300 pounds (!!!) and it has an adjustable seat and footplate position for the utmost comfort. Additionally, when your tyke outgrows the need for a highchair, you can remove the pieces to turn it into an actual chair for their playroom! We've tried a few high chairs out (as is a perk of my job, obviously) and this one is my crowned winner. My son (and now my daughter) fit the most comfortably in it, it's the easiest to clean (BY FAR!) and the legs don't stick out very far (so no one is tripping over them). I love that it comes in an array of stylish colors (we have walnut to match our wood floors and furniture) and that it can be used into toddlerhood. He's 4 years old now (wahhh) and has decided to use it in its "chair" form without a tray/straps. Not only does he eat all of his meals in it, but he also happily sits in it to do fun crafts. There was no question that we needed another one for my second baby — this time, we also used the newborn converter seat, so she could sit at the table with us. It's definitely one of the items I recommend everyone put on their registry!

Promising review: "I have tried several other high chairs and they are so difficult to clean and bulky. I wish I would have started with this one! You can pull it right up to the table, it's not bulky at all, and it's so incredibly easy to clean. Don't let the price scare you... Spend the money... Out of everything baby/toddler related, a high chair is the thing you use the most on a daily basis and for the longest amount of time, so making sure you love it is crucial!" —Kelli Novak

I switched to the Nanit monitoring system when my daughter was born in 2024 because the app has an incredible split-screen option that lets me watch both kiddos at once — it's been a game-changer. It's super easy to set up, and once you've done so, there's nothing more to do but the occasional software update. The app itself is simple: it shows you a view of your kiddo's crib and notes how long they've been asleep, whether they're crying, or whether they're standing. The audio and picture are so clear (including the night mode), and the camera itself is unobtrusive to my kids' rooms' decor. I also love that even if I'm out (rarely) I can check in on my sleeping babies for some peace of mind. It was great when my daughter was an infant and sleeping in our room, too. I was able to use the monitor stand over her bassinet to keep a watchful eye on her, even if I wasn't in my bedroom.

Promising review: "This baby monitor is an absolute parenting game-changer — a solid 10/10 in every possible way! The seamless synchronization with your phone, even when you're away from home, is revolutionary. The real-time alerts for sound and motion keep you informed about every move your little one makes. The standout feature is the ability to meticulously track your baby's sleep patterns, capturing every waking moment, putting down, and sweetly falling asleep. Revisiting memories of your baby sleeping is an emotional treasure, and the expert advice on optimizing sleep for your child is a priceless addition. If you seek a baby monitor that seamlessly integrates advanced technology with practical parenting insights, look no further. This monitor has elevated my parenting journey, offering unparalleled peace of mind and heartwarming memories. A resounding 10/10!" —Savannah Wooden

I never realized how important a humidifier was for a baby's room (or my room!) until I discovered how constantly congested my little ones seemed as newborns. It is also just great for creating moist air, especially during the winter when the heat is running high. The Vicks one is awesome because, as they get older, you can add Vicks VapoPads to really open their airways and help them breathe deeply when they're sick.

Promising review: "I love this humidifier. We bought it for our nursery and have used it every day since our baby was born. It works well day to day, but we love it for the VapoPad feature. Our baby has been sick this week, so we used the free VapoPad that came with it. Although he had been waking up throughout the night super congested and miserable, using the VapoPad eliminated our nightly trips to suction and soothe him. Very much worth it — and it’s not an expensive model." —Heidi K

This toy has bought me so much time. We've been enjoying this brand since my son was an infant. My kids adore theirs — even though they're only 4 and 2 — they have no problem understanding how to turn the Toniebox on, change the volume, and place different characters on top to tell various stories. He's a big fan, as am I! It can also be used while it's charging, so there's no need to worry about your toddler having a meltdown if they want to play with it while the battery is drained (phew).

Mallory Mower: The pictures above (left) is of my daughter and her Toniebox. She is nearly three and her favorite part is organizing and playing with all the little characters. Our entire family loves the Animal World collection — the theme song is a constant hum in our house.

There are so many different Tonies you can add to keep the fun going — check 'em out.

I have both a Hatch Baby and a Hatch Restore 3, and they’ve both been essential to my kids' nighttime routines. We keep a Hatch Baby in our bedroom and my daughter's room and the Hatch Restore 3 in my son’s room.

I love that I can control both the lighting and sound of the devices on my phone with Hatch’s easy-to-use app. My husband typically gives our two-year-old some milk in a cup before bedtime in her room; while he’s doing that, I turn on the “rain sounds” that we’ve been using as white noise for our little ones. However, the most helpful feature on both devices is the ability to adjust the brightness of the light. We’re still occasionally getting up in the middle of the night, so it’s been invaluable to be able to raise the light a bit when we do, and then quickly lower it once our daughter has settled back into sleep. It’s also not a harsh light and has a bunch of different color options, so it’s been easy enough to find a brightness that suits our needs. My toddler uses it as a night-light (which is also helpful on the few times he needs us during the night).

Promising review: "I love it! I've been contemplating buying a Hatch for a while now but I'm so glad I did. The unwind feature is my favorite because of the sunset light setting and calming sounds (which there a lot to choose from)! I also like how the light gradually brightens 30 minutes before your alarm to slowly wake you up. Set up was very easy! The app is also super simple to use and you can set up different routines! You also have access to different light and audio options for the unwind, sleep, or wake up session. Hatch does offer a paid membership to get access to more audio options but you have plenty to choose with the free version. So far, I'm very happy with my purchase and very much enjoy waking up peacefully compared to my phone alarm! Buy it!" —Itzel

My poor kids visited the pediatrician basically weekly the past winter thanks to a variety of illnesses (you name it; we probably had it). I tried quite a few products to help get them feeling a bit better when they were feverish, snotty, coughing, etc, and these vapor bombs did the trick. I would toss one into a pre-bedtime bath and let the soothing scent open up my kids' nostrils/soothe their achy little bodies. My son wasn't a fan until I let him pop them into this "magic brush" and encouraged him to "paint" with the fizzy bubbles. Whatever works, amiright?!

Promising review: "Will forever be keeping these on hand! My daughter loves her 'bath fizzy' and requests them now. Bought them originally when she was sick with RSV to help open her up before bed, but they have become essential around here. She definitely seems to sleep better when we use them during bath/before bed! The smell is great and not overwhelming." —B Reese

It's recommended for children between 8 and 45 pounds and can be used in four different holding positions — feeding/breastfeeding, side carrying, front facing, and face-to-face. See why this mama calls the Tushbaby "the best invention for parents of young children" on TikTok.

Mallory Mower: A true Brooklynite, my daughter started *insisting* on walking outside at 11 months old. This side carrier helps us move things along faster when she gets tuckered out. I love using this on the subway, as she can sit down and move around without my needing to get her out of a carrier. It's also stellar for breastfeeding on the go, whether I'm sitting or standing. BTW, Tushbaby is a small biz run by three California mamas and specializes in products that bring a little more ease to everyday parenting life.

Promising review: "This has been one of MANY items I have purchased thanks to TikTok, and I'm glad I did. Super easy to use, easy to adjust, and most importantly it helps with support tremendously. It comes with pockets and a place to hold bottles/sippy cups, which can be very handy. My 8-month-old weights around 30–35 lbs, and he's basically attached to me 24/7, carrying all day was killing my back and arms! Thank God for this invention, my arms and back can rest." —Jennifer Calle

Lion & Light is a woman-owned small business!

Promising review: "I got this mini diaper bag because I was tired of carrying a big backpack for two kids. My daughter is potty trained, but my son is still in diapers, so I needed something compact yet functional. I love that it has easy-access wipes right in the front and enough space for both diapering essentials and my own things. Plus, it looks like a stylish crossbody instead of a diaper bag!" —Jess Owens

Price: $66.39 (typically $82.99; available in three colors).

Promising review: "This stroller is the best! We got this originally for walking/jogging, but we have since ditched our normal four-wheel stroller and use this one all of the time. Very light, turns wonderfully. My Simple Modern 40-oz cups fit in the cup holders (very important!). My husband is tall and is glad that the push handle is not low like some of the regular strollers. If you're looking for a jogging stroller, or just a good one for everyday use, highly recommend!" —AmyD

Natalie Brown: The one-handed fold is SUCH a game-changer — like yes, convenient for travel, but don't you want that convenience literally all the time, including when you want to go for a walk around the neighborhood? I def do, and we take more walks because of it. The seat fully reclines for on-the-go naps, the basket underneath is surprisingly spacious, and the wheels have handled (easy) hikes on dirt paths just as well as sidewalks.

Promising review: "We love this stroller for travel and everyday errands! It performed excellently on our recent trip to Florida. Baby was comfortable, and it folded easily with one hand for the airplane boarding process. The only con is that there is no snack tray; however, there are universal snack trays available for purchase on Amazon." —Tess

Price: $144.99+ (originally $189.99; four colorways on sale)

Promising review: "I used the willow go for my first child, and when I had my second, I was worried I would constantly be bending forward helping both children, and my milk would spill out of the top container. These new containers with the cover are a game changer. They never leak and I can complete many tasks while using these!" —Tifani

Promising review: "Pretty pricey, but if you can swing it, totally worth it. As an exclusive pumper, this bottle washer has saved my hands from drying out and hours of manually washing bottle parts. I would not have made it this far exclusively pumping if I were still manually washing everything. It fits pump parts (Baby Buddha), plus two bottles, caps, and nipples (Phillips Avent). It can fit three bottles, but the cover will be a little off-kilter.

"After about five months of use, it's still kickin'. No leaking. Washing tablets are a little pricey and sometimes out of stock, but a drop of dishwashing gel (gel, not liquid!) will do in a pinch. Highly recommend. A must-have on your baby registry." —Jules

Rebecca O'Connell: I have the safari one, and I'm full of regret that I didn't see this moon version — it's so cute! I'll survive because my play mat is still amazing. Skip Hop makes really high-quality, super-adorable play gyms that survive washing and baby gnawing. Highly recommend! When not in use, the arches collapse for easy storage.

Promising review: "It’s so big, comfy, fluffy, and gorgeous! It’s very much worth the price I paid for it. It can totally be used as a rug once the baby has outgrown it. It’s that nice. The toys that come with it are also very cute and of nice quality. The whole thing is great.10/10 absolutely in love with this celestial mat." —shannon

This gadget is both a blessing and a curse. On the very positive side, my son loves it! He uses it to fill up cups, "clean" his toys, and tickle his own feet (adorable). I've used it to thoroughly wash his hair and rinse soap suds off of him in a bubble bath. However, I gotta warn any fellow parents that there is a VERY high chance you are going to get sprayed by your child at SOME point. If you don't mind getting a little wet on occasion, this toy is a 10/10.

Promising review: "A baby registry must-have! I saw this item on TikTok and knew I had to have it! It’s great for all ages! My 3-month-old loves it and so does my 5-year-old! All you need are batteries and then your good to go!" —brittany

Price: $19.99+ (originally $24.95; available in five colors)

My kids loved bathing in this simple bath seat before they were old enough to sit up on their own. They got to splash and kick to their hearts' content while sitting safely in the tub. It also hangs nicely on a suction hook, so it didn't take up much space in my not-huge bathroom. It's so affordable that I ordered one to keep at my parents' house when my kids were babies, and now my sister uses it for my niece! The majority of my parent friends have used this tub with their tykes, too.

Promising review: "I’ve had two of these and I love gifting them! This is the best baby bath! I bought one for my son four years ago (I’ve handed it down since) and one for my newest baby. I cannot recommend this bath enough! It’s easy to clean, the babies loved lying down in it, and it’s convenient!" —Jocelyn Turner

Rebecca O'Connell: I tried popping one of these teethers in my 5-month-old baby's mouth like a pacifier, and he wasn't into it. Instead, he likes to hold the bristled section and gnaw on the silicone caterpillar loop. He loves these mushies so much, I make sure I always have at least two on hand when we leave the house.

Promising review: "This teether has been such a lifesaver during the teething stage. The soft silicone is gentle on my baby’s gums, and the little massaging bristles seem to really help soothe discomfort. I love that it’s lightweight and easy for tiny hands to hold on their own, plus the pacifier-style design keeps it from constantly getting dropped. It’s also super easy to clean." —Kylie

Price: $7.99+ (originally $9.99+; available in two pack sizes and four colorways — see all Razbaby deals here)

Emma Lord: What I especially love about this is that you just "spray and go." As soon as the stain hits (or even long after!), I can spray it down, rub the solution into the fabric, and stick it into the laundry. By the time it comes out of the cycle, the stain is magically gone. I have used this on everything from pizza grease to spaghetti sauce to spit-up to baby poop to period blood (sorry, that escalated quickly). I don't have any before-and-after pictures because I keep panicking every time I see a stain and forget to document it, but that's how good this stuff is — there's not even a hint of the "before" in any of my "afters"!

Promising review: "Did your child wipe blueberries on you? Dealing with spit up, or even throw-up? Was there a poop catastrophe? Look no further than Puracy Instant Spot Remover! I am a big fan of this product and use it as a pretreatment before washing. It has a nice, sweet smell that is not overpowering, and it works quickly. The ingredients are clean too, which is a huge plus. It's so hard to find products that are clean but actually work! I buy the refills because that is more cost-effective than buying the spray bottles over and over. I totally recommend it for any stain!" —Ashley

Note: This was designed for awake time only!

Rebecca O'Connell: This was a huge staple for me when my baby was first born. It was amazing just to have somewhere to put the baby down for a minute. He absolutely loved lounging and relaxing in it while I either sat next to him or tried to get a couple chores done nearby. I usually kept a pee pad and swaddle over it in case he spit up or peed through the side of his diaper.

Promising review: "Our baby loves this lightweight and comfortable lounger. The removable cover is a plus, too! The curve shape and lower sides allow our baby to feel snuggled, but also have the ability to move freely. Our baby prefers this over the original design. As a parent, I’m grateful for a safe place to set my baby — one of our favorite ways to use it is as a resting place when taking our baby in and out of the bath. Thank you, Snuggle Me Organic for another great product!" —Kay

Price: $84.99 (originally $119.99; available in six colors) — see all Snuggle Me deals here

This is one of the few things my daughter actually enjoyed hanging out in (she's very difficult to please). She was teeny tiny, so we had to plop a pillow underneath her feet so she could spin on her own. She LOVED the pop-up owl toy, and I typically put other little toys around it (which she promptly threw across the room). It kept her occupied for a bit, so my husband and I could try to wrangle our toddler / eat a meal as fast as possible. My son also loved using this as a tot and enjoyed it as a play table when he outgrew it!

Promising review: "It was a great purchase because I could tell he was getting bored in the bouncer, but I also wanted him to be more physically and mentally stimulated. All I can say is that he thoroughly enjoys it. It was easy to assemble, and it’s sturdy." —Will

Heather Braga: These are some of our most-used products at home (also because my son loves to pump soap into cups and make them bubble over with running water during bath time haha). Both of my kids have somewhat sensitive skin but have no reaction to the Tubby Todd products, so I didn't think twice about ordering a set to my parents' home. The bottles of body wash and bubble bath are both 8.5 fl oz and will last us through SO many visits! My sister is also having a baby soon so I know she'll get some use out of them (and, of course, the All Over Ointment) before they have a chance to expire. Money well spent, IMO.

Promising review: "We were recommended Tubby Todd after my baby developed mild eczema behind his knees. We began using the cream, and it virtually cured the condition within days. Now, we incorporate the shampoo and bubble bath into his daily routine, and he absolutely adores the bubbles. I feel confident bathing him, knowing that the products are plant-based. The refreshing scent of the bubble bath and shampoo is delightful. The unscented lotion is a pleasant touch. While the price is a bit high, I believe it’s worth it considering the exceptional quality of this product." —Savannah

Price: $44.80 (originally $56) — find more Tubby Todd deals here

Natalie Brown: We've had this for nearly two years, and despite what feels like thousands of diaper changes — including many that got kinda messy — it still looks brand new. I *heart* the versatility too; after we moved and needed a different furniture arrangement, it made it easy to adapt to the new setup. I typically wipe clean with a baby wipe, then occasionally sanitize. The foam feels cushion-y enough that I've never worried about my baby's comfort, and the mobile's collapsible. It's long enough that our 99th-percentile-height kiddo still fits on it fine!

Promising review: "I absolutely love this thing — we still use it with my 17-month-old, and in fact, we just ordered a second one for our downstairs changing area when my daughter grew out of the one attached to a Pack n Play. It’s so easy to wipe down, and it’s nicely padded to ensure comfort. We lay a burp cloth down to make sure the surface isn’t chilly on our little one’s back, which is so much easier to change out than styles with covers. It’s also got a decently long surface, making it still useful as our daughter gets taller. We did use the mobile element when she was little, but took it off once she started sitting up." —ECM

My kids basically only slept in Carter's double-zip pajamas for the first 12 months of their lives. The sizing is spot-on (which cannot be said for all baby clothing brands), and they wash really well (there is not much shrinking at all). The double-zip is ESSENTIAL, so I didn't have to take their pajamas all the way off when quickly changing their diapers during the night. I also simply love how adorable they are! Both the cotton and fleece options have fun designs (including holiday themes) and often have cute little creatures on the feet, which make me squeal with delight every time I dress them in them.

The chin strap also makes it harder for them to pull it off, another big parenting win, but if they *do* manage to toss it (and lose it), at least the price is so good you won't feel too bad about having to order another one!

Natalie Brown: At first, he liked knocking down the stacks I made, when he was about one, he liked to carefully take the stacks apart one cup at a time (most of the time; sometimes there was still an epic tower topple). Now that he's almost two, he can stack and nest them himself, too, and we love playing with the biggest one in the bathtub, because it has lots of little holes in it. They're soft, so when they fall, they don't make a loud noise or have the potential to bonk anyone's head. Sometimes I put Cheerios in them too, for fun!

Promising review: "I bought these for my 1-year-old as a new toy for a trip with several plane rides. It was a hit! Since it is made of silicone, I did not have to worry about loud sounds that would distract other passengers, and they didn’t slide around on the tray tables. Both my toddlers enjoyed stacking and sorting things (like pom poms) with these cups. Since they are made of food-grade silicone, I saved the bigger cups to hold snacks on the plane (but also brought pacifier wipes to clean them if needed). They are super easy to clean when you arrive at your destination and can be used in the bath or at the pool/beach. I now recommend these to all my friends traveling with young toddlers!" —M
