So you might as well fill it up and support a Black-owned business at the same time. As a resident writer on the BuzzFeed Shopping team, I can't believe that I get to search the internet to help you find the best, most unique, life-changing products for my job. And don't forget to grab some markers! Here are some skin tone ones and general colors. Coco Michelle Illustrations is a woman-owned small business that creates coloring books that display the joy and beauty within the Black community. Promising review: "I absolutely love this coloring book! I have the Rest and Reflect coloring book that I bought in March, and I have been waiting since then for Passport to Paradise to be released! The coloring book comes with a protective sheet that I can use to stop my markers from bleeding onto the next page. The artwork on the protective sheet is so beautiful and high-quality that I might put it in a picture frame and hang it. I love the designs on each page and quite literally shrieked with excitement at one of them. If you love coloring, you will absolutely love this book. It is so refreshing to see Black women on each page. I truly hope the creator designs many more coloring books — I will be purchasing!" —Monica Get it from Amazon for $11.98 (and check out her other coloring books here). Rebundle is a woman-owned small biz that uses discarded banana stems to create sustainable, nontoxic braiding hair. Promising review: "Just one bundle was so full and long. I was able to retain hair left over for my next appointment when I need my braiding foundation again underneath my wigs. My beautician loved the way the hair felt on his fingertips while braiding. And I love the way it feels on my scalp. It doesn't give me the feeling of inflamed irritation or itching, a negative side effect I've noticed when I was using synthetic braid hair in the past — especially when I sweat, because I go to the gym a lot. This brand is fantastic and will be using it a lot moving forward." —Poohnana Get a pack from Rebundle for $36 (available in three lengths and seven colors). Indigo Road is a woman-owned small biz founded by designer, HGTV star, and real estate broker, Egypt Sherrod, that celebrates comfort, luxury, and sustainable designs for everyday living. While I don't own these bangles (although I do have them in my cart), I do own their beloved heart-shaped bamboo hoops. And before one of my earring holes closed 🙄, they were one of my fave pairs to wear. They are so lightweight, and I could tell when I unboxed them that the quality was amazing. Promising review: "Amazing bangles. I ordered the medium, and they fit perfectly on my size 7.75 wrists. I'm going for another set. Typically, most recipes require a moderate amount of prep and cooking, but between the minimal shopping required and the beautiful pictures and straightforward, intelligent, and personality-filled recipes, I’m a huge fan of this cookbook. It’s perfect for all skill levels and all types of dietary preferences — my top three recipes so far are the yassa poisson, the berbere short ribs, and the berbere bacon. I used the last one for the best BLT I’ve ever had (with turkey bacon too, which is saying something)." —Superior 77 The McBride Sisters Wine Company is a woman-owned biz and the largest black-owned wine company in the US!
