As a resident writer on the BuzzFeed Shopping team, I can't believe that I get to search the internet to help you find the best, most unique, life-changing products for my job. Promising review: "This is one of those things that I wish I'd found years earlier. I've suffered from mortifying stress-induced under-boob sweat for most of my adult life. Also, I'm a lifelong Seattle girl who gets upset when it's warmer than 65 degrees outside. So when I stumbled upon this product, I was curious enough to buy a small pack. And yes, I've come back for MORE! For real, I won't put on a bra without one of these liners now. It absorbs all the moisture from heat and stress. And because it's a really soft bamboo/cotton mix, my skin is finally not feeling tortured under there! To the makers of this ingenious life-changing product: thank you, thank you, thank you!" —Niko Get a three-pack from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in women's sizes M–XXL and in three colors or multicolor packs). Fresh Body is a small business that specializes in personal care products. Promising review: "This stuff is amazing. I am a sweaty person. Apparently, I have no thermostat because randomly, I will just start sweating and it's a lot. Well, I ended up with yeast under my breasts, and it gets red and sore. After you shower, dry off really well and apply this cream (a little dab will do ya) under your breasts and say goodbye to the inflammation and soreness. I also use it in the down there region too. I will be buying this forever." —Deb Warwick Get it from Amazon for $13.99 (also available in a pack of two, three or four). YAAAALLLL! This cream literally changed my life as a lifetime member of the Thick Thigh Posse! It leaves such a silky matte finish between your thighs that feels so divine when wearing shorts or dresses. Trust that I have tried many, many products to beat chafing, and this is by far one of my top faves. Promising review: "This is the holy grail of no chafing!!! I live by this in the summer, or anytime I have to wear swimsuits, shorts, dresses, or skirts. Goes on easily and does not feel greasy or gross on your thighs. It's unscented, so no strange smells. It also lasts for a long time — lasted all day for a Disney Trip. Best working stuff I have found, works much better than products that are in a deodorant stick style. I will never be without this chafing cream, even my husband has used this!" —aberfitchgr534 Get it from Amazon for $7.47 (also available in a pack of four or 24). They have the APMA Seal of Acceptance, so you know they're legit! Promising review: "Amazingly comfortable! I have a hard time wearing flip-flops because they give little or no support. However, these flip-flops are so supportive that I walked 4 miles in them without even thinking about my feet!" —Amazon Customer Get them from Amazon for $24.33+ (available in women's sizes 5–11 and 20 colors). Promising review: "I got these to make ice cubes that I could fit into hot water bottles to make 'cold water bottles.' I'm in the big heat wave and it's been over 100 every day for the last week, with no sign of it letting up any time soon. These are quick and easy and the cold water bottles have been the only thing helping me sleep in a room anywhere between 80–90 degrees at night. I love the lids! It makes my ice trays easy to stack and more secure. I wish all ice trays came with lids like this!" —AJ Stark Get a set of three from Amazon for $9.99+ (available with or without covers, and in packs of two, three or four). A lot of reviewers said they bought two so they can always have one ready in the freezer for when the other thaws out. It also comes with a handy insulated bag so that you can take your duplicate on the go! Our AC was busted for a couple of days last summer. So after writing about these a ton, I got one to try, and found it to be very helpful at keeping me cool for at least an hour or two (depending on how hot it was that day). And to boost the cooling effect, I would also layer with a neck fan, which really upped the icy factor. Then, after we got our AC fixed, I would use it whenever I walked my dog to stay cool. I should have gotten more than one, so I always have one ready to go when the one I'm using melts. I plan to get a couple to keep in the freezer this summer in case there are any power outages or issues with the AC again. Promising review: "I saw these on TikTok and thought, those might be a gimmick...but honestly they work really well and don't get condensation all over you. I would say on an 80+ degree day, they last a little over an hour. But that is why I purchased two and can switch them out of the fridge. If you live without AC, these are a must. I will definitely be using it all summer long." —Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $8.99+ (available in four colors and packs of one or two). Promising review: "I used these under my wedding dress recently because we decided to get married in June…in the desert…and heat. Plus, my dress was several layers, so I was afraid I was going to have a heat stroke from walking across the room. Enter: these patches! I put one vertically on the back of my neck (my half-up hairstyle covered the patch well), one on my lower back, and one on each hip under my chub-rub shorts. They stayed on for the whole 45-minute ceremony, the one-hour photo session after, and the entire four-hour reception, and I was able to regulate my temperature despite all the fabric on my dress. Not the usual use for these, but bride's gotta do what a bride's gotta do, haha." —AmandaG Get a pack of four from Amazon for $16.99. It features four speeds, an ultra-quiet motor, and has a built-in remote compartment so you'll never wonder where you last put it. Promising review: "I tend to overheat while sleeping, and this fan is wonderful. It has a remote that does ALL the fan adjustments, including setting the timer for it to turn off. The lowest speed is just perfect, and the noise level is very quiet. I do leave it in sleep mode, so the screen that lights up on the fan goes dark, and the fan doesn't beep while using the remote. Also, the oscillation is very quiet. " —Jonnel Get it from Amazon for $69.96+ (available in three colors). And did I mention that it can last for up to ~12 hours~ and survive every sand castle build, cannonball, and underwater handstand you throw at it?! Check out a TikTok of the sunscreen stickers in action. Promising review: "After yet another bad sunburn, even though I'm trying VERY HARD to keep sunscreen on, I bought these. First use was at Disneyland on a 90-degree, zero-cloud day. This helped so much! I kept an eye (as did my friends) on the dot so we all knew when to reapply sunscreen, and not one of us got burned. I also used these on a weeklong hiking adventure in Utah, where it was also in the 90s with an extreme UV index. None of us got burned, so all in all, this is one of the best inventions!" —Catherine Shock Get a 16-count from Amazon for $16.48 (also available in a pack of two or three). Psst — a lot of reviewers mentioned this also helped prevent peeling and itching! Promising review: "I bought this product to take on our vacation. I am so glad I did. I got burnt on my lower legs and tops of my feet. I thought I had put enough sunscreen on. I didn't. That night, I woke with my legs and feet both burning and itching. The instant I put this on, I had relief. OMG, I cannot say enough about this stuff. Buy it. Keep it on hand. Great product. Thank you, Burt's Bees!" —D.S. Get it from Amazon for $8.97 (also available in a pack of three). UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) is a measure of how much UV radiation reaches your skin through a fabric. UPF 50 means it's designed to block 98% of the sun's rays. Promising reviews: "It was a gift for my dad, and he loved it! Not only is it cooling on a warm day, but it also keeps the bugs out of your face. He lives on a lake and spends time outside, and this was a great way to keep the sun off him and just make it way more comfortable on the dock, in the yard, or out in a boat." —Anna Roon "Dorky in the best possible way! We use it in Florida while doing yard work. The fans really make a difference! They keep our faces cool and help repel insects. 4/5 stars simply because the solar fans have to be in DIRECT sunlight. Otherwise, they weaken. However, the batteries are very powerful and long-lasting. We accidentally left the fans on for 12 hours. They turned off automatically at some point, but turned on again with no problem. The hat fits my husband's larger head well (24 inches around). There is an adjustment strap, so it fits my smaller head also. And it is comfortable! The color came as expected, and it does not feel heavy when worn." —Pink Panther Get it from Amazon for $25.98+ (available in five colors). Here's what BuzzFeed Shopping writer Amber Usher says: "Naturium is a staple in my body care regimen, so when I found out about this version, I knew I needed it immediately. I live in Georgia, and ever since I started using this body wash, I've noticed a significant reduction in body odor throughout the day, whether I'm outdoors gardening or doing my daily Hot Girl Walk. The scent is so light and fresh, and the cooling sensation is especially appreciated." Promising review: "When I say this works for BO, it’s magic. For someone living in a hot state, working in a hot job, always working out and sweating, this product keeps you in check ALL DAY! No skin irritants, no dryness, and I feel clean. The mint isn’t strong, so you can feel the tingle, but not for long. I let it sit on my skin for at least three minutes before rinsing off. Best soap ever! I will continue to use this. Forget Dove antibacterial, forget Dial, BUY THIS!" —Shelby Get it from Amazon for $16.88 (also available in 10 other styles). Rooted Earth is a small business that specializes in creating botanical bath and body care with love and positive intentions for over 20 years. Promising review: "I love this spray so much!! This is my second time ordering this!! I love this shop so much and everything in it!! This spray helps with hot flashes, on hot days, it keeps me cool and is so refreshing!!" —Teresa Heier-Ryals Get it from Rooted Earth on Etsy for $9.99+ (available in three sizes). Listen, if you're a sweaty sleeper or you live in a warm climate like me (because unfortunately, the desert was the place I could afford to buy a house), I'm telling you, you're gonna want to have like three or four sets of these, so you never have to go a night without them during the warmer months. The fabric is sooooo lightweight and silky on your skin. And as a plus girlie, I love that it's super stretchy and adaptive to my body. It is a tad on the sheer side, but if you go to bed with someone, I don't think they'll be mad at that fact (lol). I just probably wouldn't wear it without a bra to pick up the mail, if you know what I mean. And then, you know, anything that's a bottom with pockets is an automatic add-to-cart for me. But that being said, I wouldn't say the pockets are structured enough to carry a ton of stuff or super heavy stuff — like probs just your phone and some lip balm, your AirPods, or a small snack. But love how comfy they are! Promising review: "Very soft and comfortable. Breathable for the warmer nights!" —Morgan I Get it from Tommy John for $99 (originally $110; available in women's sizes XS–XXL and in dove heather or black). Promising review: "Great summer PJs, especially if you live in a warmer climate. Breathable and soft fabric, and they have held up after several washes. I got the coral color, and it’s exactly as pictured. Also, the pockets are great to help me keep up with my phone!" —Jason Thomas Get it from Amazon for $24.99 (available in women's sizes S–4XL and 20 colors). Blissy is a small business that specializes in creating pillowcases, sleep masks, and more that help people get a good night's sleep. Promising review: "Love love love it. Feels great on the face. I’m hot all the time, and it’s definitely much more comfortable than the 100% cotton 800 thread pillowcases I’ve been using. I will buy these from now on." —Rite Get it from Amazon for $58.87+ (available in five sizes and 26 styles/colors). This set includes a flat sheet, a fitted sheet, and two pillowcases. Coop Sleep Goods is a small business specializing in pillows, pillowcases, and sleep products. Promising review: "These are the only sheets I buy. They are soft, cool, and wash up well. They don’t shrink, and the fit is generous. Worth it." —Waterlily Get a full sheet set from Amazon for $199 (available in sizes twin–California king and in white or gray). Bonus: it has a heating mode that warms like a sauna for the winter and is great for sleepers with chronically cold feet. BedJet is a small business that creates climate control bed systems. Promising review: "Look. I live in Phoenix right now. It gets hotter than hell here. It's disgusting. Sleeping during the summer is a nightmare. It was 90 degrees the other night, and it's not even the worst of the summer. The BedJet actually kept us cool and comfortable all night!!!! It is silent, and it works incredibly. I know it's expensive, but it is worth every penny if you sleep hot or live in a godforsaken place like Phoenix. Other benefits: it was incredibly easy to set up. It fits under my bed, and my comforter hides the tube. It's like it's not even there. The remote is super nifty. And it even CAME WITH BATTERIES. When does that happen these days? I literally don't have a single negative to report. I have already texted my friends and family to spread the gospel of BedJet." —Kaley Repp Promising review: "I bought these sandals before a three-week trip in Europe; I didn't want to pay for Birks but did want something in a similar style with good arch support. I was a little skeptical about the low price but gave them a shot...and they were the MOST comfortable sandals I've ever owned. I walked over 120 miles in them in three weeks on our trip and never once had foot pain. They broke in so quickly and were very supportive from the get-go — and still are! Highly recommend." —Han Lin Get them from Amazon for $34.99+ (available in women's sizes 5–12, including wide sizes, and 20 styles). Promising review: "If I could give them 6 stars, I would. I wore them on a trip to Brazil and walked like 15,000 steps a day. Not once did I get a blister, nor did my feet hurt. They are soo comfy. I’m obsessed with these Crocs — also, I could wear them in the shower because they’re waterproof. 10/10" —chris sweeney Get them from Amazon for $54.95+ (available in women's sizes 2–11 and 26 colors). Promising review: "Just tried this primer along with the E.l.f. Soft Glam Satin Foundation and I cannot say enough good things! The primer felt clean and light going on. This is hands down the best primer I have used. The two products are amazing. Def my new favs! Love love love!" —Cozette Fellow BuzzFeed Shopping writer, Gabriela Manjarrez, knows a thing or two about this beauty gem and says: "Honestly, I don't think TirTir is ever getting rid of me. I have a particularly oily T-zone, and I've noticed that this setting spray truly does help control excess sebum and keeps my forehead from looking like a glazed donut. It also leaves a natural, satin finish with a soft sheen to it, which I LOVE. As someone who is way too lazy for touch-ups when I'm out and about, I appreciate that my glam stays locked👏 in👏 with this." Promising reviews: "I swear to you, this stuff is magical. My makeup never budges when I use this, and I don’t have to use that much. You can take it off with micellar water pretty easily, but I’m telling you I have ugly cried with this over my makeup, and my makeup stayed. the. same. It’s the best. It also has the nicest bottle; it sprays really evenly over your face, and if it has any flaw, it’s probably that it makes your makeup a little too dewy, but I usually use a little powder over the parts of my face I don’t want to be highlighted, and it works like a gem. Also definitely blurs my makeup very well. 10/10 would recommend!!!!" —Jennifier Moore "I've fallen in love with this setting spray. It leaves the skin looking fresh, not shiny. It locks in makeup. The nozzle provides a very fine mist. I think it's replaced my Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray." —Michelle Get it from Amazon for $14.99 (also available in a semi-matte version and in a pack of two). Promising review: "These have been brilliant to use, draped around my neck on the long walk back to my car after gym workouts. They are lightweight and perform exactly as described. Affordable and well worth the money." —Kim Pinson Get a set of four from Amazon for $16.99+ (available in 12 multicolor combos). Promising review: "This neck fan is awesome!!! My guests were soaking wet, but they were cool." —Jenn Get it from Amazon for $12.99+ (available in nine lengths). Heads up: As far as "natural" bug sprays go, the CDC only recommends formulas with oil of lemon eucalyptus so I don't recommend using this in super buggy areas. That said, based on the reviews, you should be covered for casual picnics and backyard hangs. Cliganic is a small business that specializes in all-natural personal care products. Check out a TikTok of the mosquito-repelling bracelets in action. Promising review: "I moved last year from Southern California to North Carolina. Bugs of all types have always been attracted to me, but the number of bites I got last summer was WILD. Someone gave me one of these types of bracelets to use one day, and it seemed to work SOOOOOO I decided to buy myself an arsenal to prepare for this summer. I read the reviews, and about 99% of them had great results. I've only used this bracelet twice, but both times I was outside and untouched. Delivery was very quick, so that was a plus. I'm not fond of the smell, I'm hyper sensitive to smells, but I'd rather have the odor than being chewed alive." —Tracey Agopian Get a 10-pack from Amazon for $9.49 (also available in packs of 25, 50, and 100). Promising review: "After enduring the Texas heat and realizing my car lacked backseat vents, I decided to invest in this. This purchase has been nothing short of a game changer. The fan's 360-degree rotatable design ensures that my four-year-old receives ample airflow, eliminating any discomfort from the heat. The speed regulation allows me to adjust the fan's intensity according to the day's temperature, and the ease of setup means it's perfectly tailored for any vehicle. No more sweaty backseat rides; my child can now enjoy a cool and comfortable journey, even on the hottest days." —Ruth Get it from Amazon for $29.99 (also available in nine other styles). Promising review: "This is cute and exactly what I wanted — subtle and durable! It's not as 'bright' as the picture shows, however, I find that even better because it's still iridescent but not tacky. Height-wise, it fit my 2024 Kia K5 GT perfectly, and I just dropped the sun visors down to hold it in place. The mirror cutout is also perfect. The only 'issue' is that it's just a tad much on the length, but it's not a deal breaker. I WFH and my car sits in the driveway all day, getting beat by the sun, so this is great to not only keep me from burning my chicken legs (leather seats, IYKYK) but also to keep my dash from fading and steering wheel from peeling! Get it! 😊" —gabygirlxo Get it from Amazon for $24.50 (available in three styles). Promising review: "I got tired of coming out into the heat and barely being able to hold my steering wheel. This handles the heat well. The feel of the material is good, and it fits snugly as it should. I love the color, and it doesn't look out of place. It does not interfere with the functionality of the steering wheel. The price was very reasonable." —Dianne Collis Get it from Amazon for $15.99 (available in three sizes and four colors). Promising review: "Perfect shade from the Florida sun. I’ve looked at all sorts of contraptions to get some shade at the beach. This one is the only one that you can put up and carry by yourself. The umbrella attaches easily to the chair and can move as the sun does to ensure you don’t get burned. I’ll be getting another one for my pale friends to use. I love the pattern, too!" —Missy Get it from Amazon for $22.99+ (available in two sizes and six colors). These curtains will also help to keep your room warm in the wintertime. Promising review: "These curtains check all the boxes. They block out light completely, which is exactly what we needed for our bedroom, and they look way more expensive than they are. The natural linen texture gives them a cozy, elevated look that works perfectly in our space. If you're looking for blackout curtains that actually do the job while still looking stylish and affordable, these are a great find." —Mic Get it from Amazon for $22.79+ (available in 11 colors and dozens of sizes, including a custom option). It's also got a remote and wheels so you can roll the chill wherever you need it. It comes with two ice packs that can last between 4–6 hours, but reviewers mention you should also buy backup ice packs to have on deck for when they thaw out. Just FYI — this will *only* work for people who live in dry, desert areas. If you have high humidity in your area, it will not cool things down, unfortunately. Promising review: "I did tons of research before making an evaporative cooler purchase, and I am thrilled that I chose this brand. I live in the High Desert and have a large home evaporative cooler, which I love. However, it doesn't properly duct to my master bedroom, so I was looking for an effective (and cheap) cooling option for the summer months. Enter: the Vagkri cooler. So far, I have been thrilled with this evaporative cooler. What I love most about this unit is that it has a safety feature that automatically switches the pump off (the fan stays on) when the water level is low. So, it can safely be left unattended while sleeping. The design is also easy to use, and it is fillable from the top (albeit slowly), unlike other units. The timer feature is also an added bonus when I don't want it to stay on all night. I also reached out to Vagkri customer service to inquire about their two-year warranty and received a quick response. I couldn't be happier with the unit thus far!" —Dana Gerritsen Get it from Amazon for $239.99 (available in two sizes). Best of all, you can control it via app and program it to match your schedule. Just make sure it can properly fit your vent opening. Promising review: "This supplemental vent was definitely a great investment. Bought it in May 2024, and it is still going strong in July 2025. The app was easy to install and navigate. No hidden fees or anything like that. I like that it is flush and smooth to the floor, also has a nice look to it. The fan can get pretty loud if you set it to the Max setting. The app itself is Bluetoothed to your phone and very simple, as in the settings can be changed anytime, very easy to set to kick on around the time your AC or furnace turns on. I also feel like it does a great job "pulling" that remaining heat in the winter and cool air in the summertime from our vent systems after each session. (I have it set to run a little longer once my AC/Heat kicks off for that purpose). We use it in our living room, the room I feel is most difficult to keep warm/cool. Would highly recommend if you have a room or areas that could use a "boost" in temp control." —JasonKim Lebeda Get it from Amazon for $59.99 (available in two colors and two sizes). Read more about tea tree oil and acne at Mayo Clinic. Promising review: "This product is gentle on the skin, but strong enough to combat any buttock issues caused by stress, environmental issues, or whatever. Living in the Deep South, we sometimes have a condition called 'swamp butt.' Little red bumps like a rash or breakout can form in sensitive areas. Using this product once a day after showering...I've had ZERO bumps in over three months. It works. Doesn't smell the greatest, but it's tolerable, for sure. Great product." —Billie B Get it from Amazon for $26.99 (also available in a pack of two and with in four sets). They're also great to keep in your gym bag for a post-workout pick-me-up if you don't have time to shower. Promising reviews: "These are excellent for travel and camping. I appreciate that they have no odor and are gentle enough for my sensitive skin." —Cherise "I bike a short distance to work, and I don't usually get sweaty enough to justify a whole shower, but I do want to freshen up some. These are the perfect answer! The packets of 10 are lightweight. They are nicely moist, and each wipe is bigger than a baby wipe, so one is enough to freshen my entire body. The scent is just right: fresh, but not overly strong. I get to my desk at work feeling clean and professional, not worried I stink or that I smell like baby wipes. I will be ordering more!" —Kimberly Sandbulte Get a pack of 50 (five packs with 10 wipes each) from Amazon for $22.99 (also available in a 10-pack or 20-pack of 10 wipes and in a 40-count or 80-count individual sheet pack). BodyGlide is a small business that specializes in chafe-preventing personal care products. Promising review: "I was so excited to get a new pair of my favorite brand of summer sandals but the first time I wore them they ripped up my heels. Since they were not returnable and I wasn't about to trash them, I was desperate and gave this balm a try. It worked beautifully! I applied the balm liberally to each of my heels when I put my shoes on and the back of my foot/heels were protected all day long! I can't say enough positive things about this product." —Guerra-Diaz Get it from Amazon for $9 (also available in a gift set). And they are also a "de-perspirant" because their special formula utilizes minerals that help to tighten your pores! Promising review: "This is truly zero waste because the refill packages are made from paper, which can be recycled. The deodorant smells like perfume. It is expensive, but I don’t need to wear perfume now, so it works out cheaper overall. The deodorant is very effective, which is not always the case for “eco” deodorants." —Dawn Get a Rollr and a scent from Rollr starting at $48 (available in four gemstone heads and four scents). Megababe is a woman-owned small business! Promising review: My feet STANK in my new shoes that probably had bad ventilation. Happy Nuts is a small business specializing in grooming products. Promising review: "This stuff is 5–10 times better than regular powder! It instantly soothes irritation, deodorizes after a shower, and quiets the chafe after long sessions on the treadmill. I can't recommend it enough! Stop buying/using Gold Bond and other similar powders, and start using this. I'll be buying two more tubes in the near future." —Devin G. Get it from Amazon for $14.99 (available in four scents, including unscented, and packs of two and three). This isn't an antiperspirant, so it won't stop sweat, but it will help to soak up sweat to keep you dry and comfortable!
