Trump’s Welcome To The World Cup Video Goes Off The Rails In ‘Tonight Show’ Bit
Images
On the eve of the World Cup that the United States is co-hosting, Jimmy Fallon imagined President Donald Trump releasing a video to welcome the different countries. You can imagine that it wasn’t flattering. The president, who got a suck-up peace prize from FIFA a while back, started off in the faux clip correctly naming Germany and Spain with their corresponding flags. But then he faltered — a lot. No, Mr. President, Morocco isn’t Mar-a-Lago. Senegal isn’t Steven Seagal. And Argentina certainly isn’t Our Genitalia. Check out the silliness here: The World Cup opens Thursday with a match between co-host Mexico and South Africa in Mexico City. The U.S. team plays its first match against Paraguay on Thursday in the Los Angeles metro area.
