I’ve always been so insecure about them for obvious reasons. My feet literally shredded sheets! I’ve tried so many products, I’ve lost count! None of them did anything. Wasted time, money, and hope! But this product—it’s given me my feet back!! 😭 I don’t have to wear socks EVERYWHERE anymore! I will never buy another product!! My favorite part is that I don’t have to put nasty creams on my hands to rub into my feet anymore." —Amber Reynolds Get it from Amazon for $7.29 (also available as a three-pack). This comes with a kit containing 10 toenail braces and tools for application. Each brace lasts 3–6 weeks. Promising review: "I used to be in sports all through middle and high school, and it really messed up my left foot overall, especially my big toe. I was always embarrassed by my big toe during the summer that I’d put a bandage over it to make it seem like it was injured. Finding someone to fix your toe is expensive, and I don’t have that kind of money at the moment. Started doing research on ways to do so, and this one was the best way. It does take some practice, but once attached, it should not move. Your toes will hurt for a day. Like a dense pain. Not sharp. I saw a difference in about two weeks. I’m a month in on the most severe toe, and no more ingrown toenail!" —Sandra L. Read more about how biotin can help with the fullness of hair at Cleveland Clinic. This spray fixed not only the irritation but also the stye, which went away. Any sort of blemish or acne is taken care of with this simple, inexpensive spray. Great for after-sun care or workout redness. Everyone loves Tower 28's expensive SOS spray. It’s a miracle worker." —Squid466 Get it from Amazon for $11.19+ (available in five sizes and in two- and four-packs). This wax is used in a lot of high-end salons, and is safe for anywhere you'd like to remove hair! Btw, you'll need a heater to warm it up. Promising reviews: "I don't like shaving my unibrow because I'm lazy and don't want to shave every other day. I used to tweeze all my unibrow hairs one by one; now I use this, which makes life so much easier. What used to take 15 minutes every week now takes one minute. I still tweeze the edges for accuracy, but this helps take out the entire center of the unibrow in one go, which is 90% of the work." —Ammar "Holy crap. Please listen to this review. This is the best and easiest-to-use wax I have ever tried. It dries super quickly, and when it dries it creates a vacuum seal around the hair. It does not stick to skin in the slightest and cuts the pain down by 75%. I would pay $150 dollars for this stuff because it is so good." —Amanda Get it from Amazon for $23.99 (available in two amounts). For best results, the brand recommends stretching your skin with one hand, laying the blade flat, and then shaving against the grain. It's also great for underarm hair, and even includes a 3-mm body comb attachment. Promising review: "I tell everyone about this! No nicks, cuts, or razor bumps! The battery life is surprisingly long, too! I use this ALL over my body. Trust me when I tell you it saves you time and pain compared to a normal razor!! Seriously, never going back to a plastic one after this!" —Holly Read more about tea tree oil and how it can help with acne at Mayo Clinic. Bushbalm is an Ottawa-based small skincare brand creating products for our most sensitive areas. Promising review: "As I've gotten older I have made changes for the better for my sensitive skin; using baby shampoo as "shaving cream," making my own homemade scrub with coconut oil and pure cane sugar, both of which made HUGE improvements with my irritation from shaving/ingrown/keratosis... but bushbalm oil was what really made me want to wear shorts again, made shaving more often less painful and in between shaving irritation getting worse becoming less and less of a problem. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10." —taylor s. Get it from Amazon for $26 (also available in a formula for dark spots). Megababe is a woman-owned small business from entrepreneur, body acceptance advocate, and influencer Katie Sturino. When I studied abroad, I knew I would be walking long hours in Rome and was horrified that my roommates would suffer the consequences. I had never heard of foot deodorant, but I am forever grateful it exists. This one has a refreshing lavender smell, and with a quick spritz to my feet, shoes, and sometimes socks for that extra layer of defense, my feet remained completely stank-free! I only had two pairs of shoes, a leather pair of sandals and a pair of sneakers, and even when I wore them back-to-back, this spray kept them from ever retaining any odor (and yes, I gave them a proper whiff to check). I was seriously amazed it works so well (and that I still had some after eight weeks). Promising review: "LOVE IT!! Smells SO good! Works great! It sprays a fine mist and dries quickly. Love that it doesn’t leave feet feeling greasy or sticky, and doesn’t leave a white powdery finish like some of the others that are zinc-based. I spray it inside my sneakers and my kids' tennis shoes, softball cleats, and track spikes. My mom is using it while having to wear an air cast on her foot from a leg surgery. Will definitely be purchasing a few more bottles and buying it regularly!" —Jamie Layne Fields Read more about tea tree oil and how it can help with acne at Mayo Clinic. Promising review: "This is the BEST soap ever for itchy-prone skin. I live in a very hot humid area and during the hot summers I would always end up with rashes. My doctor recommended a tea tree soap and I found this GEM and have been repurchasing this for years. It's so good I now purchase it for my daughters who also have itchy dry skin. It's smells like you're in a spa and it's super refreshing due to the mint. The only thing I would say that is not the best is that you have to hurry and wash it off the sensitive parts of your body because it's SUPER minty and can get a little spicy. I highly recommend this soap." —Damarys Rijos Get it from Amazon for $13.49 (also available as a two-pack and in four other scents/styles). I started using this recently, and along with neutralizing odor, I've been super impressed with the way it keeps it at bay, too! It comes out as a gel-like texture, then bubbles up into a satisfying foam that leaves me feeling squeaky clean. Because I like following it with a scented body wash, it does add an extra step to my shower routine, but the results have been sooo worth it. Once it helped eliminate a mild rash I was dealing with (ohh, to be human 🫠), I knew it had earned its permanent place in my summer arsenal. Promising review: "This body wash is so incredible I cannot actually use another brand and attempt to even convince myself that I’m as clean. I use this on my face, under arms and chest. I also love this product to scrub my back. My skin has never been more flawless and in conjunction with the Surface Deep anti-odorant spray, I live smell-free during even the hottest of seasons here in Florida! 12/10 recommend!" —Justine Get it from Amazon for $28 (also available as pads and individually wrapped wipes). Promising reviews: "I got this in hopes of lightening my dark inner thighs. It’s been a month of using the bar every time I shower and I see drastic results already. I was a bit suspicious if this would actually work, but if you are on the fence please take this as a sign to get it and try it out. I’m so excited to see how I look in a few months from now because this thing works and it works fast!" —puppbear "I started using this product one month ago. I use it all over my body [and] it lightened my underarms just in time for spring. I wish I knew about this sooner." —Michaella Leyein Get a two-pack from Amazon for $14.99 (also available in larger multipacks). Promising review: "Fair skin, red head here, and I can barely go outside when it’s sunny without getting a sunburn. So I always have to wear sunscreen, and I hate the stickiness of most of the sprays out on the market. I have been a fan of this line for years now. It’s super lightweight (even the lotion), and it works, and you don’t feel sticky or feel like your pores are being clogged. This is the only sunscreen I will use daily and bring with me on beach vacations. And it’s reasonably priced as well!" —Dyanne Gray Get a pack of three from Amazon for $25.49. Note that the AAD recommends using at least SPF 30 and reapplying as needed for skin protection. You can read about sunscreen myths and facts from dermatologists for more information! Promising review: "As an avid Asian beauty user, I've used a lot of different Korean and Japanese sunscreens. I bought this on a whim for my trip to Italy, not expecting much. I've seen it a lot on a bunch of TikTok videos and on BuzzFeed, and figured it was overhyped. But oh my gosh, this thing is legit. Like freaking legit. It glides on really smoothly, the curve of the product makes it really easy to apply, and dries matte. It leaves no cast (on pale and tan skin) and also feels like nothing is there after a couple of minutes. It saved my boyfriend and me from the unmerciful Italian sun at peak summer. We ended up going through the entire stick by the end of our one-week trip just because of how often we were applying it. I honestly might switch over from my HG sunscreen to this just because of how much I love it! 100% recommend." —Hannah Get it from Amazon for $16.40 (available in a Glowing style and as a two-pack). Promising review: "I am so glad I bought this! I use it on my face daily and especially when my face gets a little shiny, I just dab more on. My face never burned all week in the Florida sun when I paired this with the Protec(tint) Daily Skin SPF. I also put it on my scalp every day which also never burned! Highly recommend this product!!" —Alison L. Get it from Amazon, from Ulta, or from Sephora for $35 (available in four shades, including translucent). The lotion is formulated without parabens, phthalates, petrolatum, or SLS. Promising reviews: "I just got it an hour ago because I have a sunburn so nasty I haven’t experienced anything like this in 20+ years. No matter how much aloe and vitamin E I applied, the pain was less than thrilling. I applied this and felt immediate relief. I’m very pleasantly surprised." —Holly C "This lotion seriously saved my skin after a weekend of too much sun. I had some pretty uncomfortable peeling and dryness on my shoulders and chest, and it worked so well. It’s super soothing, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t feel greasy at all — just clean, cooling hydration. The aloe and coconut oil combo is perfect. It calmed the redness right away and made my skin feel soft and nourished. I even used it on my face without any irritation, which is rare for me with after-sun products. Definitely keeping this stocked all summer long — highly recommend if you’re dealing with sunburn, peeling, or just need a gentle, hydrating lotion post-sun! —Cathy Get it from Amazon for $9.23 (also available in a coconut-scented three-pack). Read more about tea tree oil and how it can help with acne from Mayo Clinic Promising review: "I’ve used this product for about two months now. I try to remember to apply at least twice a day. Not only is my skin clearer, but the overall texture is much smoother and softer. I highly recommend giving this lotion a try." —Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $26.99+ (also available as a set with a scrub and soap). Promising review: "Wet crack lol… You know, you walk, you work, you sweat in stinky areas. For me these canisters are >>>> vs the powders. It’s easy, quick, and works. Is it a fix all? No it’s not. But does it help noticeably? Yes it does. I’ll shower, dry off, then point a lil' spray at my crack. The scent is about as neutral as you’re gonna get or could hope for, it’s not perfume-y or menthol-y, it’s just a slight clean smell. I hold my can upside down and spray without any problems. Am happy I purchased and will purchase again." —Luke Get a pack of three from Amazon for $22.44. Reviewers with everything from thin, straight hair to coarse, 4c hair mention it has worked for them. Promising review: "I looooove this so much. The smell is amazing, and it tends to stick around for a while, so I love getting whiffs of it throughout the day. My hair is softer and doesn’t seem as frizzy as before. I put it on after washing my hair and then after it’s dry. I tend to wash my hair two times a week, so I’ll use it in between washes on my ends to make sure they still look nice and healthy. Great value, too; I’ve been using it pretty consistently since purchasing, and I’ve barely made a dent in it. Love it!" —Noley Get it from Amazon for $18.99+ (available in two sizes, a leave-in cream style, and five other formulas) Promising review: "This is an item I never knew I needed because I never knew they existed. Fresh Body is a small business that specializes in personal care products. Promising review: "This stuff is amazing. I am a sweaty person. Apparently, I have no thermostat because, randomly, I will just start sweating, and it's a lot. Well, I ended up with yeast under my breasts, and it gets red and sore. After you shower, dry off really well and apply this cream (a little dab will do ya) under your breasts and say goodbye to the inflammation and soreness. I also use it in the down-there region. I will be buying this forever." —Deb Warwick Get it from Amazon for $13.99 (also available in different pack sizes). Check out a TikTok of the Laneige Neo Blurring Powder in action. Promising review: "I loved this setting powder, it blurred my pores and blended my makeup so well that even my husband noticed. Wow! I will be buying more before people find it and sell it all out, hehehe." —Charlotte Laim Promising reviews: "This definitely takes away the shininess on face mid-day in summer weather." —SJJS "I have super oily skin and am always looking for something to help control it during the day. The linen squares are good, but you have to keep them around (and keep replacing them), and they end up in the landfill. This little contraption really works, and I just rinse it at the end of the day and start over again the next. I kept one on my desk and bought a second for my purse. This is magic for my shiny skin, especially on camera in my hours of Zoom every day." —Jennifer Helseth Several reviewers say they just throw theirs right in the washing machine to clean it! They also make a smaller one designed for the bikini area and a long, narrow back scrubber for hard-to-reach areas. Promising review: "If you're trying to find something for body exfoliation...this is it. Just this glove, water, and some time. I soaked in the bathtub for about 10 minutes, then got to exfoliating." —Kari Shawhan Get it from Amazon for $11.39 (available in three colors and as a two-pack). Promising review: "This stuff is AMAZING! Literally nothing else keeps tangles out of my daughter’s hair like this does. Her hair is so thick and very difficult to brush; this makes it easy-peasy to brush the tangles out after a swim in the pool. It also softens her hair. When not used, the pool chemicals make her hair very stiff and dry. We even use this every once in a while just because! It smells wonderful and doesn’t make the hair greasy in any way. I cannot recommend this product enough!!!" —Emily Check out a TikTok of a dermatologist explaining the different ways this can be used! Promising review: "I will always recommend this product. I had extreme hyperpigmentation in my armpits, textured skin on my face, and I am overall sweaty during the summer. My armpits are completely light and clear again, my T-zone on my face is smooth and my skin tone is more even, and when I put this on sweaty spots the night before it signifcantly reduces odor. Sorry for the TMI — but for the sweaty people, you need to try this! I have and will continue to repurchase. I use this every day." —Anna Get it from Amazon for $9 (available in two sizes and as a two-pack). These are thin enough that you can wear them during the day without them being too obvious, but they also make an Invisible+ Patch if you prefer! BuzzFeed Shopping editor Amanda Davis tried these and says: "I've tried various (countless 😅) pimple patches in the past and The Mighty Patch definitely takes the cake. I stick it on and honestly forget that it's even there. The adhesive is strong, so it stays on during my tossing and turning at night, but I often wear it during the day, too! I work from home, and it's not noticeable during my video calls which I truly, truly appreciate. I begin seeing the gunk from my zits after 2–3 hours of having it covered, but I leave it on for at least the full six. When it's removed, it's like the healing time was sped up and what would've taken a couple of days took just HOURS." Be sure to read the full Mighty Pimple Patch review for more deets! Promising review: "These little patches are a miracle worker. When I feel a pimple coming on, I slap one of these on and leave it on overnight and the next day it's gone before it's even started. Also have used them on full-blown breakouts and it shortens the healing time. A must-have." —Chris C. Get a 36-pack from Amazon for $12.99 (also available as a pack of 72). Peach Slices is a part of the skincare company Peach & Lily, which was founded by celebrity esthetician Alicia Yoon. It prioritizes vegan beauty products and recyclable packaging. They plant a tree for each order and have sent some proceeds to Restore NYC since 2016. Promising review: "It had to be said. These things are disgusting, that's why you should buy them. Squeeze part of your nose skin. Do a bunch of little pustules come out? Yeah, if you put one of these puppies on at night, you wake up, and that is all trapped inside that weird film. I dunno how it works. It's probably sorcery." —Jack Sawyer Get a seven-pack from Amazon for $9.88.
