I'm a Shopping editor (and mom to two toddlers) who covers a variety of topics, including helpful parenting/kids products, exciting gadgets, cozy products (think: home goods and fashions that'll make you want to snuggle), and any magical Disney item that crosses my path. My name is Heather, and at the time I'm writing this, my son is 4, and my daughter is 2 (so you know I get *it*). So, a lot of these items I've personally tested out (the lightweight Veer All-Terrain Cruiser stroller wagon, BabyBjörn Harmony Carrier, the Doona all-in-one travel system, the Mockinbird Single-to-Double stroller, just to name a few.) I can happily tell you *all* about what has worked for my family, but I kindly wanted to note that I'm aware every kid is different! So, what worked for me may not work for you. But hey, it's worth a shot. Right? Since the birth of my son in 2022, I have been on the hunt for a baby carrier I love. It took me two years to find one that finally fit the bill! This one from BabyBjörn is pricey but has all the features I was looking for in a carrier. Many of the other brands I tried were SO difficult to figure out — how should the straps go? How do I get the baby in? How do I get the baby OUT?! The Harmony simplified all of those concerns with its easy-to-use clasp system. I could buckle my daughter in on my own, allowing me to go on more outings alone with her and my toddler. My neighbors definitely all had a glimpse of me pushing my son on his trike while holding my daughter. (I am EXHAUSTED, to say the least.) Additionally, the material is very lightweight, whereas other brands I've tried have left my tot and me feeling hot and sweaty. I used this one throughout the entire summer, and while I was, of course, warmer from having a baby strapped to me, I wasn't overtly dying of heat. It was also designed with padded shoulder straps and a pressure-relieving waist belt, which was MUCH appreciated. When your tyke inevitably spits up all over it, you can just toss it in the wash! Truly love this product. Now that my daughter is 2 and my son is 4 (time really does fly). I've passed the carrier along to my sister, and she's using it to tote my niece along while she walks their dogs! Get it from Amazon for $198.99+ (available in nine styles). Promising review: "I have tried three carriers. This carrier is fantastic. It is stretchy, breathable, and lightweight. My 3-month-old wants to be held and carried around when she's awake. This carrier makes that so much easier. I have two older children and having my hands free to do things for them makes everything easier. " —MomBoss Get it from Amazon for $34.99+ (available in 15 colors). Abiie is a small business in Austin, Texas making stylish and practical baby gear. BuzzFeed editor Sally Elshorafa loves this carrier! She said, "I have this carrier and it's changed my family's life. Both my husband and I use it daily, and it's quickly become our go-to for carrying our infant son. It's so much more practical and intimate than a bulky stroller. When he's tired, I'll have him face inward, and he'll fall asleep immediately. When we're out and about and he's wide awake, I have him face outwards so he can be part of the action. I can tell he is very comfortable in either position. With my firstborn, I never liked using the traditional baby carriers on the market because they didn't offer enough support, or they were too complicated to adjust and keep on. Because this one has a hip seat, it's ergonomically way better — my son's weight is distributed more evenly, so there's little to no pressure on my lower back, hips, and shoulders. And it's great that when he's old enough to sit up on his own, I just unzip the carrier part, and it becomes a practical hip seat. Truly a gift that keeps on giving." Promising review: "This baby carrier will replace all of your baby carriers! My favorite thing about it is the wide waistband. It doesn’t dig into your sides, back, or stomach after prolonged wear. My little one is five months old, and he enjoys taking long walks and hikes in this carrier. He is comfortable, and I appreciate that his hips, knees, and legs are in a good 'M' position. The seat is supportive, and the shoulder straps are comfortable for mom or dad! My little one and I are both very happy with this purchase." —Kaile Get it from Amazon for $59.95+ (available in three styles). It's recommended for children between 8–45 pounds and can be used in four different holding positions — feeding/breastfeeding, side carrying, front facing, and face-to-face. Tushbaby is a small business run by three California mamas and specializes in products that bring a little more ease to everyday parenting life. Promising review: "My 1-year-old is super wiggly and so heavy. The TushBaby helps to solve that because I can’t put her in a regular carrier for more than five minutes before she gets upset. Using this carrier, I can pick her up and put her down to explore and much as needed and it really helps alleviate all the weight off my back. I use it around the house as well as when we’re out. Very convenient and quick to put on and adjust." —Nadia M Get it from Amazon for $63.74 (available in three styles). My in-laws watch my kids at their house once a week (bless them), and we were so tired of switching car seats between our vehicles. After seeing SO many parents pushing this Doona in stores, I realized it might be the perfect solution. It functions as both a car seat and a stroller, so I didn't need to set up my in-laws with both items. This covered the bases so efficiently! It was seamless to install, and despite being a bit out of touch with today's modern strollers, they had no problem figuring out how to use it. I've started recommending it as a must-have registry item for new parents who don't want to invest in several car seats right now and/or don't have the room for a larger stroller. It's simply fantastic! BuzzFeed writer Mallory Mower is also a fan of this stroller/car seat/magic vehicle, "This is another one of those baby products that I get teary-eyed thinking about because my 4-lb. baby came home from the hospital in this, and then went *everywhere* in it until she grew out of it. I wish this had been around sooner because parents deserve a product this helpful. It's a great stroller, a safe car seat, and the combo is a *chef's kiss* gift to parents." Promising review: "This is the BEST car seat/stroller combo! It makes running errands so easy!! This was our big purchase, and I highly recommend it to all of my friends! It’s easy to get my baby in and out of the car. He loves it and sleeps the entire time he is in it!" —Delaney Get it from Amazon for $649.99+ (available in eight styles). This is an AWESOME stroller for anyone with one kiddo or up to three! It has over 22 different configurations to make use of, that make it truly ideal for venturing around a theme park — it works with a bassinet, car seats, a standard stroller seat, and an attachable riding board for older kids! I have this stroller at my parents' house and recently tested it out in single and double modes — it's honestly awesome. So many double strollers are bulky and cumbersome, but this one has an easy one-handed folding option, making it a cinch to stow away when we're not in town. I love that it can be easily changed back and forth between a single stroller and a double when my toddler isn't coming along for a walk. It's also super easy to clean, has a deep basket for storage (blankets, snacks, etc.), and glides smoothly over the bumpy streets of my parents' neighborhood. It comes in a bunch of colors, which is great when taking it somewhere like Walt Disney World (where it meets their guidelines!), so you won't lose your stroller in a sea of similar-looking ones. Promising review: "Literally did so much research on a double stroller that was affordable and worked with my life! Couldn’t have asked for a better stroller. Love that there are different positions for the seats and how much you can carry in the basket!" —Sarah O. Get it from Mockingbird for $549 (available in five colors, two patterns, and two frames). I had the older version of this ahead of my daughter being born in 2024 (my kids are almost exactly two years apart) and have gotten so much use out of it so far. When my daughter was an infant, I used the bassinet seat alongside the regular seat for long walks with both kids. My son had actually been resisting walks in the stroller until his sister came along — suddenly, he was interested again and was so happy they could ride next to each other. When she got a little older, they both started sitting side by side and holding hands (the absolute cutest). It may look wide, but it fits through doorways without being a tight squeeze! The new iteration comes in six lovely colors, a new bassinet with two larger breezier panels, organic cotton linings, reversible and reclinable side-by-side seats, larger all-terrain wheels, a larger underseat basket, and a side bag that can double as a changing bag for extra storage. Promising review: "Must have stroller for two small children. We have two under two, and this stroller easily handles all of the gear we need for walks, zoo, Disney compatible (meets their size requirements for double strollers), and easily converts down to single mode if needed." —disneydad Get it from Bugaboo for $2,169 (available in six styles). Veer is a small business that sells awesome, parent-friendly wagons and other outdoor family products. This specific wagon (which also comes in a four-seater style) has so many incredible accessories you won't believe it. We're talking adaptable beach wheels, customizable colored siding, coolers, fans, and canopies (just to name a few). I have this wagon and my family LOVES it. It's so easy to get both kids into (2- and 4-year-old) and they're so happy to go on a walk across from each other — feels more like an adventure! I live in the 'burbs and it's been easy breezy to navigate it through my sidewalk-less neighborhood and grassy parks. BuzzFeed writer Mallory Mower also has this and says, "I have never seen my husband gush over a product for our daughter more than he has with this wagon. And I'm just as big of a fan! There are *so* many useful accessories you can get to customize your ride specifically to your family's needs. We have a canopy, a cushioned toddler seat, extra storage nets, a cooler, and more. There are different attachments for season changes and a range of ages, so this truly grows with your child. It is easy to get through doors, swivel around pedestrians, and roam around uneven surfaces in the park. I can't think of a more useful product for parents in a city, or families who are often out and about. And, most importantly, my daughter *adores* it. She laughs, cheers, and giggles the whole ride (and the cup tray attachment lets her snack on her own while we're on the move). This wagon is the sort of thing that makes me glad I'm a parent in 2025. Parenting products have come a *long* way!" Promising review: "We are so excited to have this Veer Cruiser XL for our little one. It is perfect for the outdoors, and we love its portability and ease of setting up and closing. It’s also super easy to clean and will last a very long time." —Veer Customer BuzzFeed writer Mallory Mower also loves this wagon. "I have never seen my husband gush over a product for our daughter more than he has with this wagon. And I'm just as big of a fan! There are *so* many useful accessories you can get to customize your ride specifically to your family's needs. We have a canopy, a cushioned toddler seat, extra storage nets, a cooler, and more. It is easy to get through doors, swivel around pedestrians, and roam around uneven surfaces at the park. I can't think of a more useful product for parents in a city, or families who are often out and about. We take this with us when we grocery shop, and it's been life-changing. We've had this for over two years and have made it work, hard, in all weather (peep my family on the right in the impressive NYC blizzard of '26). This stroller keeps us moving!" Get it from Veer for $699+ (available in two sizes). This stroller really has it all. It has an adjustable push handle, a removable sun canopy, an insulated rear basket cooler, a cup holder, and is collapsible for compact storage. Promising review: "I wish I had bought it long ago. We have three kids (ages 4, 2, and 6 months) and they all fit perfectly. Even my 6-month-old fits with the seatbelt. It is heavy, but that is to be expected on a 4-seater wagon. So many storage options. And I’m obsessed with the fact that I can turn the seats forward or facing another in the wagon, and how easy it is to maneuver and push. I also love that it folds up like a stroller vs flat down like most wagon models. My kids love it, and the quality is 10/10." —Justice Murphy Get it from Amazon for $899 (available in two colors). Promising review: "We used this to take our 11-month-old across Western Europe, and it was incredible! It folds up small enough to fit in the overhead bin on the airplane. Handled the cobblestones great. Our son was able to nap in it. Overall, highly recommend! You do need two hands to fold/unfold, so maybe it's not best for traveling solo with a baby, but it was a great stroller for what we needed at a better price than some of those luxury travel strollers." —Daniel Yako Whether your in-laws live in the same town as you or are a plane ride away, it's never a *bad* idea to have a reliable, affordable stroller option they can break out in a pinch while babysitting. I don't know about you, but when my kids were in the midst of refusing a nap, my parents and my in-laws' move was a walk in the stroller. This one is a great option because it has multi-position recline (please, SLEEP), a pop-out sun visor for fresh air, folds up compactly, and wheels that handle bumps on the road. Not to mention it *also* has thousands of positive reviews! Promising review: "I really love the Ingenuity 3D Mini Convenience Stroller! It’s incredibly lightweight, folds up compactly, and is perfect for quick trips, travel, or everyday errands. The stroller maneuvers easily, and my child seems very comfortable riding in it. The only small downside is that the under-basket is a bit small. Once my child is in the stroller, there’s hardly any room for extra items. That said, it’s still functional for small bags or essentials, and it doesn’t take away from how convenient and practical the stroller is. Overall, this stroller is a game-changer for parents who need something lightweight, easy to fold, and comfortable for their little one. Definitely five stars from me!" —Kaylee Get it from Amazon for $65.99+ (available in six colors). It's also Disney-approved, so feel free to book that trip to see Mickey! For extra protection (if you're concerned), you can buy a travel bag for it. And if your mini-me is a snack fiend, there's an attachable snack tray accessory that'll make sure they're all set up and ready to roll during your travels. Promising review: "We have (and love!!) the trio set up, but needed a travel stroller for a plane trip with our youngest. This stroller was perfect!! Folds so easily and fits in the overhead bin without issue (flew American Airlines)… super comfy for our 6-month-old to stroll around in or nap in… also great for diaper changes when fully reclined. 10/10 recommend!!!" —Hannah H Get it from Zoe Baby for $249 (available in three colors). BuzzFeed editor (and mom of two little ones) Sally Elshorafa has taken this stroller all over the place, including a recent trip to the Bahamas! Here's what she originally had to say about it: "Ergobaby sent me their Metro+ Deluxe Stroller, and it's quite literally the perfect companion for travel, and even everyday use. We've been back from our vacation for over a month now, and we keep the Ergobaby stroller in our trunk and use it whenever we're on the go. It's the epitome of what you want in a compact stroller and is super easy to fold down and back up. It's suitable for newborns to kids up to 4 years old or 48.5 pounds, whichever comes first. At the time of this writing, my toddler is 18 months old, 22 pounds, and a little under 3 feet tall. She was snug as a bug in the stroller, but not cramped at all. She was supported and would often fall asleep while on long walks. I could go on and on about the roominess of the expandable storage basket, the high-quality fabrics, all the accessories included (like a cupholder!), but the real reason this stroller is a star is just how compact it is. When it's folded down, it's so small. It can fit in the overhead bins of an airplane or snuggly in the back seat of a car if you don't have any trunk space. There's also a handle for easy moving when it's fully folded. All in all, it's one of the best things we've added to our household since having a kid, and I'm so grateful that my toddler (and my newborn, who has an ETA of early August!) will get to use it for years to come." Promising review: "Excellent stroller for traveling or city life! This stroller is perfect for navigating tight spaces, small vehicles, traveling Europe, etc. Most American strollers just won’t fit through alleyways or stores — let alone little cars. I had another mom in the airport watch me fold this stroller one-handed while carrying my 2-month-old. She kindly said she was jealous! It also fits through airport scanning machines if you choose to keep it folded, so you don’t have to wait for them to hand-check it. However, the stroller BAG RIPPED after TWO FLIGHTS when gate checked. One thing to note is that the stroller folds so that the seat is facing out — so it’s best to store it back in the stroller bag to protect the cushion from getting dirty. Also, if you purchase the cup attachment, it will not fit in the bag with the stroller." —Alyssa The Nuna trvl dubl is, admittedly, a splurge that I feel is worth it. I was gifted mine as a testing sample from the brand, but I would purchase it in a split second for its life-changing benefits as a mom of two toddlers. I have two tykes that need a ride, so I needed to branch out and find something that would better suit my family's needs. This stroller has everything I was looking for! For starters, I can collapse and open it with one hand, which is a must since I'm constantly surrounded by chaos and don't want to be fumbling with a stroller. It has a large storage basket that easily fits my too-stuffed diaper bag, each seat can be reclined to my child's preference (one can lean back while the other is upright), and the wheels glide nicely over bumps and rocky terrain. I first tested it out on a day trip to Brooklyn and it was a seamless experience. It's also Disney-compliant (read all about Disney's stroller guidelines here), which will be a great bonus whenever we head over there. Mostly, I just love that this stroller will last my family for quite some time and takes the guesswork out of finding a new one. Promising review: "This stroller was fantastic in both cross-country travel, including several flights and a Disney trip. I have a tall 5-year-old who sat in the larger seat and fit very comfortably. Although his head was taller than the seatback, the sun visor could be easily extended. The stroller was amazing on all types of terrain. Large under basket that you can access from the front and back. Passes through doorways easily and we had no issues at TSA. This comes with a travel bag, which is great for checking bags at the air bridge. I love this stroller, and I’ll probably reach for it on the daily over my larger, bulkier double stroller." —Dani4288 Get it from Nuna or Nordstrom for $900 (available in three colors). BuzzFeed writer Crystal Ro did an in-depth review of the Butterfly 2. But some important takeaways include, "Our regular stroller has much larger, air-filled wheels, so it's a VERY smooth ride. And, TBH, I was a little suspicious if the Butterfly 2, with its smaller, hard wheels, would be as smooth. But, to my surprise, it was?! Admittedly, I didn't exactly 'off-road' with this stroller, but even on pavement and a few different terrains, it moved really smoothly and had good shock absorption. I tested this baby out at North America's largest IKEA (in Burbank, CA) — which, if you've been to an IKEA, you know how busy it can get — and I was able to maneuver through small aisles and around meandering people with more ease than in the regular stroller." Promising review: "This is the best travel/everyday use pram we’ve ever had (and we’ve had a few in 13 yrs of parenting!) the larger wheel size, one hand adjustable footrest and larger basket that has easier access are the perfect upgrades to what was already a great pram. We’d choose it over and over again ☺️" —Tasmania Get from Amazon or Bugaboo for $599 (available in five colors). Psst: An older version of this stroller is available at a slightly lower price and is still my go-to travel stroller. Check out my review of the Bugaboo Butterfly. This is one of my most cherished parenting items! It grows with your tyke — first you can push them along in it as a stroller, then transform it into a push tricycle, and finally turn it into a toddler tricycle. Your kiddo will have so much fun in the sun with this trike. My family has been enjoying ours since 2022, and it's still in perfect condition! Absolutely worth the splurge. Former BuzzFeeder Chandini Reddy says: "I'm not sure who's more OBSESSED with our Liki Trike...my toddler or me? My active toddler, who absolutely hates being strapped into his stroller, loves that it allows him to sit upright and steer the handles (while I push him), making him feel like he's in control and going on an adventure. It has made trips to the park/mall/zoo so much easier because it is lighter than our stroller *and* folds up tiny, taking up minimal trunk space. (We also took it on a flight recently and were amazed at how easily it fit in the airplane overhead bin!) My fave feature is how seamlessly it steers. Unlike other trikes, you don't need to awkwardly force it to change directions. In fact, my 5-year-old has no trouble navigating my 2-year-old around the park. The best part? My little one is so happy riding around on this thing that he's had barely any meltdowns when we're out and about. I'd say that's a huge win!" Get it from Amazon for $300+ (available in seven styles). We had one of these for my son in a now-sold-out style, and it was such a great addition to his outdoor toys. When he first learned to walk, he loved pushing himself around; now, eventually, he just adored being pushed around our yard or neighborhood! When we had another baby we upgraded our push car situation to this side-by-side option — now they ride together! Anyways, this version is a low-maintenance vehicle your kiddo will likely love, too. It has a functioning trunk for storage if you're walking over to a playground, as well as cup holders and, of course, a seatbelt. Promising review: "My son loves this car when we go for walks. It’s fairly simple to put together. The handle can fold underneath the car for better storage and can fit in the trunk of my car." —Reilly Get it from Amazon for $78+ (available in two colors). Promising reviews: "My 2-year-old son loves it! He always wants to ride in it. Easy to push/pull. No straining on the back to do so. Great quality and roomy. Radio Flyer never disappoints!" —Sage B "Super cute and perfect for my older dog who can’t walk. Easy for him to get in and out of, and the push or pull option is great." —Little O's Bows * Gift Ideas For Kids That Won’t Make Their Parents Say “Oh No” * If You’re Parenting Multiple Toddlers At Once, You’re Not Alone — Here Are 31 Things Parents In The Same Boat Recommend * Parenting Products Other Parents Think Are Fantastic * Toys And Games For Siblings Who Actually Love To Share * Things That’ll Make Your Kids Want To Play Outside Instead Of Begging For Screen Time Plus bikes, sensory toys, and finds from Walmart.
