"I’m talking about the fact that I’ve had conversations with case managers in Florida, Texas, Mississippi, and other red states where they’ve decided it’s more feasible for them to put someone with three kids on a 10+ hour bus ride than to shelter them. There’s not much infrastructure for support. I don’t anticipate ever needing these social support networks, God willing, but it is important to me that my community values and tries to uplift those in need."
