“Daily Show” comedian Desi Lydic appeared to make a surprising revelation Thursday on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” (Watch the video below.)

Asked by host Jimmy Kimmel if she had been in any big movies when she was an aspiring actor, Lydic replied, “Well, I hate to break it to you, Jimmy, I was in a movie with your nemesis.”

She waited a beat. At the same time Kimmel blurted out “Trump?” Lydic said, “I was in ‘We Bought A Zoo.’”

That 2011 film starred Kimmel’s faux enemy Matt Damon. The talk show host and the Oscar winner have exchanged insults and pranks for years. But Damon never tried to get him pulled off the air as the president has done before and is doing again.

Kimmel, who remarked to political satirist Lydic that Trump is “our nemesis,” easily slipped back into his comic feud with Damon.

“Is that why you decided to stop acting?” he asked Lydic of her experience with the “Good Will Hunting” actor. “... I’m so sorry he did that to you.”

Fast-forward to 2:13 for that segment:

All jokes aside, Trump and first lady Melania Trump called for Kimmel to be fired for jokingly referring to the first lady as an “expectant widow” days before Saturday’s alleged assassination attempt on the president.

Kimmel said it was a light jab roasting the first couple’s age difference. That didn’t stop the right-wing outrage in another brewing battle over free speech.

While flying a bit more under the radar than Kimmel, Lydic has launched her share of zingers at the president.

For the curious here’s a scene between Damon’s widower and Lydic’s lasagna-bearing single mom in “We Bought A Zoo.”
