Jimmy Kimmel is wondering if a potential move reportedly being considered by President Donald Trump just might be the last straw for some of his most loyal supporters.

Kimmel on Monday night pointed to a Wall Street Journal report that said Trump has mused about giving himself the Medal of Honor, which is the nation’s highest military honor, despite never having served in the military himself.

The “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” host asked the audience if they could even imagine such a thing ― then answered his own question.

“I mean, of course, you can imagine it,” he said. “He accepted the Nobel Prize as a gift.”

Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado last year gave Trump her Nobel Peace Prize after the president repeatedly complained that he deserved the honor.

The Medal of Honor is a different case, since Trump seems to think he may be able to simply give it to himself.

“What if he does it? What if he puts that around his own neck?” Kimmel asked, then had a question about the MAGA faithful. “Would that be enough for these zombies who still worship him to wake up?”

Kimmel noted that Trump thinks he deserves the award because his plane flew into Iraq on an unlit runway during his first term.

“Well, if that’s all it takes, anyone who ever flew into Newark deserves the Medal of Honor,” he cracked.
