Apple’s iOS 26 introduces an option to enlarge the Lock Screen clock, improving readability for users who prefer larger time displays. The update addresses common questions on how to increase the lock screen clock size on iOS by allowing the time to expand across half of the screen. Users can resize the lock screen clock by long-pressing to enter customization, tapping Customize, and dragging the on-screen handle. The feature may not appear if the wallpaper lacks open space, and existing widgets are automatically moved down to accommodate changes. Apple’s Craig Federighi said iOS 26 delivers a “gorgeous new design” and more personal experiences across the system.
