Anthony Scaramucci, who served briefly in Donald Trump’s first administration, this week took one of the president’s favorite insults and turned it back at him and his most faithful MAGA supporters. That’s the term “Trump derangement syndrome,” which the president often uses to dismiss his critics. Journalist Don Lemon showed Scaramucci a clip of longtime Democratic strategist James Carville earlier this month, directing deeply personal insults at the president as he embraced the mock diagnosis. “You’re right, I’ve got Trump derangement syndrome,” Carville declared. “I hate the motherfucker.” Anthony Scaramucci: “I don’t think James Carville has Trump Derangement Syndrome. I think James Carville has Trump Reality Syndrome. The people that have TDS are the ones that are with him still. Those are the people that are deranged. Those are the people that have lost touch with reality in terms of how much damage he and his cronies are causing the country and the world.” See more of that conversation below: By entering your email and clicking Sign Up, you're agreeing to let us send you customized marketing messages about us and our advertising partners.
