Each kit should produce 1–1.5 pounds of fresh mushrooms and once you harvest them, you can spray and reuse the kit again, though each harvest after will be smaller. 

I aspire to be someone who grows a bunch of indoor herbs, but about as far as I get is regrowing scallions (which make everything taste better and easily freeze!) on my windowsill in a glass of water. I've been wanting to try one of these kits for a while and waited until I knew I'd be home for a spell in case it required babysitting. It doesn't!
