Joe Locke got scabs on his chin from kissing Kit Connor so much on Heartstopper.

"Hudson and I, separately, we’re just like, 'I’m not weird about that. I’m not squeamish,'" he added. "I trust him. I also feel confident enough in the production to voice anything if I ever feel uncomfortable, so I’m like, 'So, let’s go all the way. I’ll wear the least amount of clothes. I’ll do the most amount of kisses.'"

Meanwhile, Brown said that kissing costar Finn Wolfhard was "definitely strange," recalling, "It was, like, my first kiss, so it was kind of weird. But then, like, when I'd done it, I thought, 'Wow. It makes sense for the storyline.'"

Fun fact: Joe Locke's first kiss was on-screen with Kit Connor!

Lawrence later cleared the air, clarifying on Hot Ones while laughing, "It was not intentional. It was just, like, what I was eating, and then we'd kiss! He should just, you know, get over it."

The Riverdale star also talked about on-screen kisses between the cast in a 2017 interview with Entertainment Tonight, sharing, "I think we're all so comfortable with one another that it's not even really a thing. If we have a kissing scene, it's fine. We don't really think twice about it. When new characters have to kiss, it's a little different and you're like, 'Oh, OK! What this?' But it's easy, we're all friends. It would be more nerve-racking if you had to make out with someone that you didn't know. So if by chance we do end up having to kiss each other, it's fine and it doesn't feel weird."
