Promising review: "I have plantar fasciitis and was looking for something that would be stylish, fun, and super comfy without giving me foot pain. I was a little hesitant when they arrived, because I REALLY had to force my foot into the boot since they don't unzip or anything, and I was so disappointed. After much tugging and several deep breaths, I was able to get my feet into the boots. I decided to walk around the house in them to see how they felt, and they felt instantly comfortable. BUT I dreaded taking them off, as I wasn't sure I could get them back on again! I was about to repack and return them, but I decided to try again the next day to see if they had stretched out at all after wearing them around the house. Thankfully, they had! I was so happy! A few weeks in now, and I have worn them standing all day, shopping all day, (they were great on icy, snowy sidewalks for grip and keeping my feet dry and happy), and they feel great! The opening has stretched out perfectly, so I can get them on and off pretty easily! I do suggest wearing at least crew-length socks so they don't rub on your shins before they are broken in. These do add quite a bit of height, and make me (at 5'10") tower over my (also 5'10") husband, but I'm trying to embrace it. 😉 I wear a size 10, have wide feet, and very high arches, and these have the perfect amount of room!" —Wildrick Price: $94.23+ (available in sizes 5–11) Promising review: "I love all my Crocs and I have for many years now and these light pink Crocs are the lightest pair I have now. They always fit perfectly and the arch support in Crocs is the best. Once you get your size down pat you got it made. They really are very very comfortable and can be worn year-round and they're waterproof and very easy to clean. Just put them in the tub and scrub clean. I’ll be buying more Crocs ’til the end of time lol…." —Mandy Price: $22.99+ (available in women's sizes 4–19, men's sizes 2–17, and in many colors and styles) Psst — there are lots of different styles of Crocs (like slides, flats, and sandals). You can check those out and pick up any charms for your shoes at the Crocs store on Amazon. Promising reviews: "I love the Arizona style. They are easy to adjust and easy to slip on and off. I suffered from a heel spur, and I was able to walk without pain when I changed over to the Arizona sandals. I took several pairs of shoes on vacation, and never once did I switch over to a different pair. I can walk for long periods of time with comfort. They are my first choice of shoes." —Glenn B. "Birkenstock is best shoe out there. I've had a wound on my leg for two years now and have on heavy bandage from toes to knee. The only shoes I can wear are Birkenstock." —Sandra Norwood Price: $99.95+ (available in women's sizes 5–17.5W, men's sizes 3–15.5M, narrow sizes, and in 31 styles) Promising reviews: "The New Balance Women’s 574 sneakers are a fantastic blend of comfort, style, and everyday wearability. They feel supportive right out of the box, with cushioning that keeps my feet comfortable all day, whether I’m running errands, walking around town, or just on my feet at work. The classic design pairs easily with jeans, leggings, or casual dresses, so they’ve become my go-to shoe. Great quality and timeless look, I do highly recommend!" —Cheryl L Kornowski Price: $74.95+ (available in sizes 5–12, wide sizes, and in eight colors). Promising review: "I decided to give these a try because of price, and I'm so glad I did! I was very impressed by the quality of the material, as well as how comfortable they are. I am very picky about my shoes and typically do not buy shoes that are not name brand." —Whitney Price: $39.99 (available in sizes 5.5–11 and 20 colors) Promising reviews: "This is the second pair of these shoes that I have ordered. They are supportive, comfortable, reasonably priced, and pretty good-looking. I don’t know why Merrill named them Jungle Moc Mountaineering Boots, because they look fine in my upscale suburban area. They have good traction for snowy days." —N.B. Ferris "Can't say enough! LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE SHOES!!! Nice arch support. Very comfortable. Nice tread. Well made. Plenty of toe room. Haven't slipped on wet pavement or snowy driveway. Did I mention how comfortable they are? Yes, I would definitely buy these again!!" —Flower Girl Price: $64.89+ (available in sizes 5–11, wide sizes, and 16 colors) Promising reviews: "Very well-made shoes, great tooled design, can be worn year-round — also bought the brown ones. It is a great pair of clogs, well worth the money!" —B52BRAT "These Dansko professional slip-on clogs are everything I hoped for — super supportive, comfortable for long hours on my feet, and stylish enough to wear with anything. The arch support is excellent, and the quality is top-notch. I’m usually a half size, and I sized down to the next full size as recommended — perfect fit! They felt a bit snug at first, but broke in quickly and now feel like they were made for my feet. Great for work or everyday wear — definitely worth the investment!" —Felicha Price: $94+ (available in sizes 4.5–13, narrow and wide sizes, and in dozens of colors/styles) Promising review: "I was looking for a stylish and comfortable shoe with a wide toe box to wear for fall and winter that could go from casual to a little dressy, skirts or slacks or leggings. These are perfect! Comfortable right out of the box. They arrived in perfect shape, and the day promised." —Purple Dot Price: $119.95+ (available in sizes 5.5–12 and in three colors) BuzzFeed Shopping editor Heather Braga says, "I have these boots in both black and toffee — I'm actually obsessed. They are my favorite shoes right now because I can wear them through the fall, winter, and early spring. They look fantastic with jeans and adorable with tights. They have just enough of a heel to create the look of heeled booties without the discomfort of walking around in heels. Basically, they're amazing, and everyone should buy them. K, thanks. You can check out my full review on them here (#6)." Promising review: "These are just an overall comfortable pair of boots! I have had my first pair for several years, and they are still in great condition. I walk or stand most of the day at work with no problem with these. I also wore them on vacation and walked all over New Orleans, and I was very surprised. As with anything, prices fluctuate, but they are worth it to me." —Sara V Price: $46.20+ (available in sizes 5–13, including wide sizes, and dozens of colors/styles). Promising review: "I love these shoes!! I read a few reviews before buying and they did not disappoint!! I don't really write reviews but I had to for these that's how impressed I was! I would buy in every color, they became my go-to favorite shoe! Comfortable and versatile!" —Brian Price: $35.99+ (available in sizes 5–10 and in 11 colors). Promising reviews: "I'm a server and have been for 33years, I have always bought expensive shoes until my daughter bought these for me two years ago, I love them I work over 10 hours and they are the best, almost feels like nothing on your feet, and feet never hurt!!" —Cookie "I absolutely love these shoes. Highly recommended for fit and construction." —Quality First "This is my second pair of these shoes. They are the most stylish yet comfortable pair of “dress” sneakers I’ve ever owned and worn. They are my favorite pair of kicks." —A Town Boogie Price: $61.31+ (available in men's sizes 7–13, wide sizes, and in 17 styles). Promising reviews: ""I use these shoes to work almost every day. They are great if you have a job where you have to walk as well. They look professional and are very comfortable. I bought them at another store last year and came to Amazon to buy another pair. I wear them during winter and summer. They are more comfortable than sneakers and you will look very put together." —Rebecca "My normal shift is 9 1/2 hours. Of those I’m on my feet for about 7 hours. Clark’s in general are the most comfortable shoe I’ve found. We actually preach to our cocktail servers to invest in a pair of Clark’s! These wedge heels are by far the most comfortable pair of heels I’ve ever owned." —Amazon Customer Price: $45.87+ (available in sizes 5–12, narrow and wide sizes, and in four colors) Promising reviews: "I will never buy anything but this shoe from here on out! I am not a runner — just fyi — However, I work in a very big, very busy restaurant, and put lots of miles on shoes…A local fisherman tried to put me onto these years ago / wish I would’ve listened sooner. Technically, these shoes are NOT “slip resistant” but I have no issues in a tile kitchen…. And I am super clumsy. My whole body feels better wearing these." —Eileen Doolan "The ON brand is the best walking shoe EVER!!! You will want several pairs!! I can COMFORTABLY walk for hours and miles all day long in a city or countryside in these shoes and at the end of the day my feet are NOT tired or sore! They are the best!!" —Tonic Price: $147.99+ (available in sizes 5–14 and in tons of colors) Promising review: "Best boots for chefs ever. If you're like me and really don't like clogs or the server safe shoes you can buy these are great! I'm on my second pair now, the first pair lasted over four years of heavy abuse and were comfortable all the way up to the end. I finally had to get a new pair because the soles were pretty worn and I wore a hole throw the upper portion somehow. After this second pair wears out, I will definitely be buying a third!" —Dave Baxter Price: $209.95+ (available in women's sizes 6–16, men's 4–14, and 13 colors/styles) Promising review: "Sperry is my only go-to for comfortable tennis-type shoes. They are comfortable, easy to clean, with great support. I can walk long distances while feeling a great sense of balance. I choose to wear them nearly every day year-round. I don’t bend over to tie the laces and they always look great. I have purchased them for years. I usually have more than one at a time. My favorite colors are navy and gray. I highly recommend the brand. My foot is narrow and I always get a comfortable fit with these shoes." —Melissa B Price: $39.50+ (available in sizes 5–12, including wide sizes, and 16 colors) FYI: Many reviewers suggest sizing down! Promising reviews: "Love these shoes! I wear these all summer with shorts, dresses, everything!!! They’re super comfortable and durable. I can walk for hours in these. I have them in five different colors." —mimi13 "These slides are — and I mean this in the best way — marshmallows that mold to your individual feet. They are SOOOO comfortable. I’ve been working from home since the start of the pandemic, and I ordered them to wear in my house after I read that walking around barefoot long-term isn’t great for your feet. I wanted something with a little support, but that would be comfortable. The reviews for these looked good so I ordered a pair, and now I never want to take them off. The material in every part is molded and squishy, so there are no unexpected parts that dig into your skin or chafe. But they’re structured enough to provide some support for your arches. 10/10 highly recommend!" —Carrie B Price: $20.34+ (available in women's sizes 4–16, men's sizes 3–14, and 18 styles). Promising review: "If you’re debating about whether to buy the Chuck Taylor lace-up version or this slip-on version, DEFINITELY go for the slip-on!!! I ordered both to compare and while they look very similar on, the slip-on was way WAY more comfortable. In particular, because the tongue of the shoe doesn’t seem to be as long in the slip-on version, that means it won’t rub into the top of your foot and create unsightly marks. Ick! Who wants that? Three cheers for the slip-on!" —Urban Mom Price: $48+ (available in sizes 5–11 and five colors) Promising review: "I love everything about these boots. They are well made, very fashionable, and comfortable. I was a little concerned about the height of the heel being uncomfortable but I wore them to work all day and didn't have any problems with my feet hurting. Very happy with my purchase!" —momtojsh Price: $19.99+ (available in sizes 5.5–12, including wide sizes, and 15 colors/styles) Promising reviews: "Worth every penny! I got these for my week-long trip to Puerto Rico and they were amazingly comfortable! I walked hours in them and had no issues. The color is beautiful and the heel is just the perfect height." —Oscar Chavez "Reaching for these sandals more and more because they’re comfy, cute, and elevate my outfits! They didn’t require any breaking in and I’ve worn them for an entire day out and had no issues with long-term wear. Fit was true to size. Going to get another color since I love them so much!" —Nidhi Patel Price: $29.99+ (available in sizes 6–10 and 26 colors) Promising review:"I only brought a few pairs of shoes to Europe when I went and these were one of them. They were amazing! I thought I would get blisters but I didn’t and they were super comfortable. From walking around France to the highlands of Scotland, they were perfect. Definitely worth the price!" —Audra Brink Price: $22.36+ (available in sizes 5.5–12, including wide sizes, and in 15 designs) Promising review: "I am in love with these boots! First, they are great-looking. I've worn them 10 times in the past two and a half weeks and received compliments five times. They look amazing with leggings, maxi dresses, and short skirts. The ankle doesn't gap and is adjustable with laces, but they actually open by way of a zipper on the inside ankle. So, once you get them fitted to your arch and ankle, putting them on and taking them off is easy. I know, as I had to remove them for TSA at two airports. I've worn them in rain, slushy snow, sub-freezing temps, and 70-degree weather. So far, with a wipe of a cloth, they still look brand new. No scuffs and no cracks. Yesterday, I took them off after 31 hours of travel, involving a number of airports and lots of walking, and they still felt good." —Alice Price: $36.79+ (available in sizes 5.5–10 and in three colors) Promising review: "I normally cannot wear flats because they give me terrible blisters on the back of my feet. These didn't! Bought these in nude for a city vacation with a lot of walking, but where sandals aren't necessarily worn, and these were perfect! They obviously don't have the support of sneakers, but I am so happy to finally have a cheap pair of flats that don't give me blisters. I did break them in with thin socks on around my house before wearing them out, and when possible, I wear them with little sock liners. Also — I was able to fold these in half like Tieks and fit them in a semi-small purse to change into to dance at a wedding! Score!" —Kate Price: $12.48+ (available in sizes 5–15, including wide sizes, and in 24 designs) Promising reviews: "These shoes are so comfortable. I used them on a trip where I did a lot of walking, and there was no need to break them in, and I had no blisters. I have not had to clean them yet, so don’t know how they will wash up." —Charlotte "I wore these, new, on a recent trip and couldn't have been more pleased with the fit and comfort. Added bonus, you can toss them in the wash and they come out great!" —Amazon Customer Price: $27+ (available in sizes 5–11, wide sizes, and in five colors) Promising review: "I love these boots. I have them in another color. I have an unusually narrow foot. As with all boots, I wear a thick sock and use an insert. I can wear these all day long with no discomfort. Perfect heel height." —Dev "Yeph, buy them. I wear them a lot and I love them. I usually wear Jeffrey Campbell's and I like these just as much." —beth Price: $58.98+ (available in sizes 6–11 and three styles) Promising reviews: "I’m in absolute HEAVEN! My favorite brand and my favorite color, a dream come true. Skechers is the only brand of shoes I have not had a single issue with since I exclusively started wearing them. When you have the right size (that was on me), it literally feels like you’re walking on air, hence the name! Their durability and color cannot be beat, they are a perfect fit, my feet are so happy and comfortable! The color CANNOT be beat! My feet are on cloud nine! Well worth their price and more!" —Eileen Stelzner Price: $54.66+ (available in sizes 5–12, wide and extra-wide sizes, and in 34 colors). Promising review: "These were a perfect fit! They are so comfortable and match a lot of the clothes I own. The day after I received them, I wore them for a whole day. I helped set up a baby shower, loaded up gifts, cleaned up, and by the end of the day, my feet weren’t tired." —Whit Price: $18.37+ (available in sizes 5–12, wide sizes, and in lots of colors) Promising review: "These boots are cute, comfortable, and stylish. The toe box has ample space for movement, and the ankle is flexible. I was concerned about them getting dirty because they are so white, but they actually clean up very nicely. Additionally, the sizing was accurate for me. I've now had them for almost a year and wear them often; so, these boots have been a really good buy." —Expert Shopper Price: $37.99+ (available in sizes 5.5–11 and eight colors) * Shoes Reviewers Loved So Much, They Came Back For A Second Pair * Comfortable Shoes You'll Want To Pack On Your Next Trip * Pairs Of Shoes Destined To Become Your New Favorites * The Bottom Line Is These 27 Shoes Will Make Your Feet More Comfortable Plus, boots, shoes (or, more specifically, sandals) for your next trip, teacher or server-approved options, and finds from Nike, Nordstrom, DSW, Walmart, and Zappos.
