If I don't have my adorable 3-in-1 bear fan, I'm not going.

It works by attaching to a plane's (or car's) headrest and uses an eye mask with a thick and contoured 3D design (extra comfort!) to hold your head in place.

Promising review: "Our family of three was headed to Japan, 12 hours to Osaka and 9 hours back from Tokyo. We’ve traveled a lot and tried many pillows, neck wraps, etc, over the years. We never like anything. But, these we LOVED! Not only do they keep you from the dreaded head bob shock wake, they provide a blackout mask that makes it dark regardless of whether it’s light, someone’s watching a screen, or the plane has its lights on. I also found that it lessened the noise around me as it covered my ears. We all found it very comfortable, and these will now be our go-to for long flights. The mask and backing are nicely padded. I didn’t find the mask hot or uncomfortable in any way. —wendy g

Promising review: "THE best. I just returned from a 10-day trip to Italy. This scarf was the best item I packed!! It feels amazing and is so versatile. It also looks very fashionable and I fit in perfectly as many of the women in the cities I visited were wearing scarves. I used it as a travel blanket on plane, as a neck scarf throughout Italy (weather changed throughout the day) and even as a head wrap when I got caught in unexpected rain. It was easy to tie to my purse and take on and off as needed. I literally used it every day of my trip. I will be purchasing more." —Amazon Customer

Reviewers say it's ideal for a suitcase that can roll on four wheels. If you have a suitcase that has to tilt while it rolls, just be careful if the drinks are open at the top.

Promising reviews: "Great tool to keep your hands free. I’m a flight attendant and I love this, especially the [hook and loop fastened] 'quick detachment.' It’s the best! I had one before that just stretched over the handle, and it was a PAIN! This one is great. There’s room for two large drinks and a slim pocket for phone or wallet. Many people see it and ask where I got my clever little caddy!" —Debra G

"Favorite travel accessory. Seriously, get it! I live on the road. I work out of town so I'm on the road four nights a week and travel for leisure about once a month. I've added this cup holder to the list of items I travel with and it's been one of the best additions especially when flying. I get to be hands-free yet always have a drink or two with me at all times. Get it. I've had it for a few months now, so must be great quality as it's been keeping up with me" —Kitty

PS: The genius Airplane Pocket is a small biz! Check out a TikTok of the Airplane Pockets tray table cover in action.

Here's what BuzzFeeder Emma Lord has to say: "I used this on a round-trip from NYC to Tokyo, both with connecting flights in Canada, and cannot sing its praises enough. It fit all four of the different tray tables I used it on and was so ridiculously handy for keeping track of all my littler odds and ends like AirPods, the plane's headphones, earplugs, a sleep mask, a book, gum, a scrunchie, and little snacks. The hanging end of it easily tucked into the built-in sleeve of the seat in front of me for takeoff and when other passengers needed to scoot past me in my aisle seat. Usually, I feel like a hot mess and get frustrated rooting around in the grimy sleeve for my stuff, and this was such a refreshing solution! Several flight attendants even asked where I got it to buy one for themselves!"

Promising review: "The best product I didn't know I needed! This kept all my things neatly organized. Even eating meals on the small tray just felt more spacious since I was able to store many items within reach. I'll never fly without it!" —Alyssa

I bought the set of six for eight weeks in Europe with one suitcase, and they were perfect for keeping me organized during the packing process and making sure I had plenty of space for my other essentials (and I am someone who packs for every possible scenario lol)! My advice: lay your clothes as flat as possible, not folded or rolled. This way, they stack more evenly and when you compress, have less of a lump in the center, which lets them fit together more seamlessly! The four larger cubes held all my clothes, while the smaller one fit toiletries and the shoe bag, all three pairs I took. And, when I was fully unpacked, the larger cubes doubled as a laundry bag! I've kept using them on all my trips, even just for organizing.

Promising review: "Every traveler needs these. I bought a six-piece set and a four-piece set. BEST BUY EVER! I used all but one of the six-piece set and one from the four-piece. I was able to pack for an eight-day trip in a carry-on tote and didn't have to do laundry one day! I'll never travel without these again." —VickiM

Promising review: "Seriously a lifesaver (or at the very least a lower back-saver). Took this on an international trip with my toddler and used it to carry them around any time they didn't want to be in the stroller. The pockets are so spacious — I was able to use this instead of a purse and fit a Ziplock bag with a couple of diapers, wipes, a changing mat, and a spare onesie, as well as my phone, cash, and cards. I cannot tell you how helpful it is to not have a giant diaper bag to contend with when you're trying to change your squirmy toddler in an airplane bathroom the size of a broom closet. It's not a hands-free solution (obviously), but I much prefer it over bulky traditional baby carriers with their million straps and buckles. My one caveat is that if you're a person on the thinner side, you'll probably need someone else to help you pull the strap tight enough for the carrier not to slide down. A good alternative I found was to tie a sweatshirt around my waist and then buckle the carrier on top of that." —A Moff

"I would 100% recommend this product! We went on a four-hour flight with the carrier, and it was awful! Baby crying, arms tired, it was a nightmare. Both ways. A week later, we went on an eight-hour flight to another country, and this time, the baby slept the entire time on us, sitting in the carrier. I will never ever travel without it again. Not only during the flight, but between connections, it was a huge help." —Rozique

The review below is from 2017; hopefully if a flight attendant felt sick these days, they wouldn't have to fly! Btw, It is recommended not to reuse after two flights because pollen, dust, and moisture reduce effectiveness.

Promising review: "These were a lifesaver! I could not fly without severe ear pain. My ears would stay stopped up for days following a flight, and as we would land, I wanted to cry the pain was so, so bad. This occurred even on a short flight. Last week, we flew from Alabama to Dallas to Seattle. Then returned from Seattle to Chicago to Alabama. I used EarPlanes on all four flights — no pain, no ears stopping up! I will never, ever fly again without having a pair of these with me." —Kimberly S. Morris

Promising reviews: "On past trips, it was a struggle to keep a duffel bag in place on the rolling suitcase, so we decided to try this on a recent trip to Italy. This strap was very useful in keeping the duffel in place while rolling my suitcase to/from the train station, even over bumps from the cobblestones! It was so much easier than trying to hold the suitcase handle and the duffel strap with one hand and worry about the duffel swinging all over the place. Every time we saw other travelers struggling to keep their extra bags from toppling over, my husband and I exclaimed how this small purchase made our luggage handling experience so much easier." —Audible Customer

"THE most important travel accessory ever!! I used this traveling through five airports from Portland - SFO - Doha - KL and Malaysia. This ranks as the best travel accessory I have ever purchased/used. An absolute must! Be sure to remove it and tuck it away safely before storing your bag/carry-on in the overhead of the airplane. I panicked when I thought it was left on a plane and had to struggle with my carry-on and tote stack — but thankfully found it! 10 stars! I'm home now and picking up another to have on hand." —Amazon Customer

Reviewers say the material is durable (even if they pack the bag to its limits) and can be wiped down or washed easily if your makeup spills!

Promising review: “A TRAVEL MUST-HAVE. I was looking for a toiletry bag where I could fit all my toiletries plus my makeup in one place. THIS IS THE ONE. Everything fits, and it helps me stay organized when I travel. I can’t imagine traveling without it now. Bonus for all the color options they have! I have both the medium and large. I recommend the medium for a carry-on suitcase. The large in a carry-on takes up half of one side.” —Brenda

These prevented it from leaking out on the other contents of my luggage. Easy to use. Not flimsy. Very flexible. LOVE THESE!" —TAG

"Best travel invention ever. These toiletry skins are fabulous! I use them whenever I travel and they haven't disappointed at all. There's been absolutely no leaks. Promising reviews: "This thing was a freaking lifesaver! I recently traveled with my disabled mother and my five-year-old. I was debating about whether or not to get these because I thought they may be more of a hassle to get on and off through security than they would be worth. Eventually, I decided just to give them a shot. I am SOOOOO glad I did!!! I'll be honest, the setup does take a few minutes, so be ready for that. But once they are strapped together, it's beyond worth the extra time to get yourself together!! We were able to zip through the airport with ease, and I was able to strap my daughter's backpack to my luggage and then pile our jackets and my mother's purse on top of our 'train.' 🤣 I was able to tote ALL of our things by myself with ease! Even my daughter was pulling them around when there wasn't an incline in the floor. Lol. The only thing you need to be careful of when using them is making sure you have the tension just right so bags don't slip down when you start moving or hit a bump. And make sure to make WIDE turns, or you will topple them all over. 😅" —BlueEyedBatman

"Best travel accessory ever! I recently took a family trip to Disney, four rolling suitcases, and one duffel bag. These straps were the best. I managed to connect all four suitcases of ours, plus a duffel bag on top, as well as an in-laws suitcase at the front. I looked like a train in the airport but I had all the luggage and the wife had the child. If I ever lost these I would certainly purchase these again." —Jason Doty

Promising review: "Flight attendant–approved! These pill containers are simply amazing! The latch and seal on them are very secure due to their rubber gasket around the inside. I put my daily medications in each of the six smaller compartments on one side and then use the larger two containers for vitamins and supplements. I keep this in my tote bag for work, and I am not concerned at all about it opening. I can’t tell you how many times some of the other pill boxes I used have opened up, tossing prescription medications into the smallest corners of my bag. Well-designed and well-executed!" —Christina S.

Promising review: I travel a lot as a travel attendant, and I will not even leave the house without my fan! I use this on all my flights, especially during boarding. It’s great for hot flashes too! I only charge my fan maybe once a month at most! I even went to Guatemala for a week and forgot to bring my charger, and let me tell you, that fan lasted me the whole trip! So many of my passengers ask me about this wonderful device, and I have sent the link to so many friends and family."  —1SG JC

The pockets inside are so handy and I even had room to spare throughout my Iceland trip. Compression socks may also help prevent deep vein thrombosis (a blood clot that starts in the legs and can be serious); to know if you're really at risk of that, however, you'll have to talk to your doctor. Read more about compression socks and swelling on flights at Cleveland Clinic.

Promising reviews: "The reason I got these socks was that I always get a terrible leg pain when I travel on 3.5-hour flights, so knowing that I was about to take 9+-hour-long flights, I knew I needed to get something like this. Not only did I not get the pain in my left leg after the flights, but I also used them for our super-long walks during our two-week vacation, and it was noticeable how much longer it took me to get tired. They were so good that I had to share a pair with my husband and hand-wash them every night." —Amazon Customer

Psst — the umbrella opens and closes with the press of a button.

Promising reviews: "I bought this umbrella in 2017 and took it on countless trips around the world in super rainy destinations. Thailand, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Iceland, Seattle, Canada, basically many classically wet and windy cities. It never blew out on me or broke. The ribs, seven years later, are still holding in place, and the button open/close still works as normal. I surprisingly never lost it despite its small, travel-friendly size. What did stop working after many storms and being rained on is the water-repellant cover. I couldn't find other umbrellas in a similar price point that had all the same features. I kept finding either similar-sized umbrellas with only six ribs (seriously, how did they fit nine on here?) or smaller ones without auto open/close. Finally, I noticed the company had a lifetime guarantee. Lo and behold, within a few hours, someone emailed me back saying that they shouldn't have happened, that they stick by their products, and they would be shipping me a new one. I could not believe how quick and low-hassle their customer service was." —Anthony De Pascale

This mini steamer heats up in about 90 seconds and steams continuously for 15 minutes before needing to be refilled.

Promising reviews: "I was pleasantly surprised by how good this little guy works. I work at a dry cleaners, so I'm super overboard about wrinkles, but I'm traveling to Alaska to be a bridesmaid, and my dress has to go with me. I was thinking ahead and brought this to take so I can make sure my dress doesn't look [wrinkled] the day of. I tested it at home, and this thing heats up QUICK. Like ridiculously quick and puts out a decent amount of steam. Not sure if it would tackle denim, but for thinner fabrics, it worked great. And honestly, for the price — if I forget it in Alaska, I wouldn't freak out." —Jennifer

"My travel essential. This little steamer is the best. For how little water it seems to hold, the steam runs so long. It heats up pretty fast and is relatively quiet." —Rebecca

Promising reviews: "I bought these just in case. I'm the overly prepared type. And then I was sitting there in Florence eating this incredible sandwich for lunch, and it all came pouring out the bottom onto my linen pants. Olive oil, liquid from sundried tomatoes.... FUUUUUUUUDGE. Luckily, we were eating in our room, so I immediately stripped my pants off, put them in the tub, and dumped in two of these Tide packets. We'd packed carry-on only, so I needed these pants frequently! The Tide saved the day. They also came in handy to refresh my husband's socks after walking around in the heat all day. GET THEM. It's an easy pack and a no-brainer." —NolaForever

Promising review: "I purchased two of these for our RV for camping. Once a year, we camp where we can go crabbing, and I usually get wet. I hung up my wet clothes after we got back to the rig. Then, later that night, we had a heck of a storm. Thunder, lightning, heavy rain, and WIND. The next morning, my clothes were hanging just like I left them. The area was slightly protected but not completely. I also love the positioning beads, which keep the clamps where I want them. It seems quite heavy-duty and durable. I definitely recommend." —Jan

"This is perfect for hang drying lightweight clothes while traveling. I used it to hang under garments and my daughter's compression stockings. It easily attached from the shower head to the opposite end of the shower bar, wrapping the bungee cord end around the bar and back into itself to secure it. Perfect. Fits back in the included fabric bag! Quality item. Won't travel without it now." —JustUs4
