These affordable options will have you looking put together, but oh-so comfortable.

“I don’t like travel days, but I look forward to dressing up,” Czernekova said of her endearing travel quirk. She said that she’s adopted the mindset that vacations really begin the second you get to the airport, so she wants to treat it accordingly.

But Czernekova assures us that her idea of dressing up to fly is vastly different from the ’50s and ’60s, for instance, when it was common for people to dress more formally for commercial air travel. Comfort, she stresses, is still of utmost importance.

“I used to wear leggings, but I found sweatsuits to be way more comfortable, and especially a matching suit, which looks more formal and way more elevated,” she said. “It makes you feel cozy, without looking disheveled and, somehow, gives you the illusion that you’re put-together.”

Czernekova acknowledges that this travel ritual has the potential to be an expensive one, so she found brands that she believes strike the perfect balance of affordability and quality.

“I really like active wear from Old Navy and Aerie because you can get good material and designs at a reasonable cost, and I like some Amazon sweatsuits for when I’m traveling last minute and need something to get to me quickly,” she said.

If you have a trip coming up or just want to shop like my dearest fashion friend, take a look at some of Czernekova’s favorite matching sweat sets, as well as some that she’s had her eye on for her next day of flying.

Available in 17 colors and sizes XS–XXL, this lounge set includes a drop-shoulder crewneck and a pair of cropped flared sweatpants with a relaxed fit throughout. It's made from a soft cotton blend and Czernekova said this was her most recent buy for an upcoming trip.

This suit is made from Old Navy's dynamic fleece, a medium-weight fabric that's soft. smooth and easy to move in. Sold separately, the relaxed-fit half-zip features a hood and two zippered pockets. While Czernekova's exact pants are sold out, we found an identical alternative pair, also at Old Navy, that offers a high-waisted fit, wide legs and hidden on-seam pockets. You can shop this set in up to nine colors and sizing options for petite, regular and tall fits.

Get them from Old Navy: the half-zip for $27.49+ (originally $54.99; available in sizes XS–4X) and the bottoms for $27.59+ (originally $46.99+; available in sizes XS–4X).

Unfortunately, the exact set from Target that Czernekova owns is sold out, but she picked out this very similar duo from the retailer's All In Motion brand, which comes in up to three colors and sizes XS–4X. She likes the hooded full-zip (sold separately) with a high neck that looks like lapels when unzipped. The cuffed joggers feature a mid-rise, a tapered fit, and, like the matching sweater, are made with an ultra-lightweight fleece fabric.

Get them from Target: the hooded full-zip for $21 (originally $30) and the joggers for $25.50 (originally $30).

Czernekova has her eye on this delightful lemon yellow sweatsuit, also from Target. The plush oversized hoodie is meant to pair with these mid-rise sweatpants (sold separately) that feature a straight, slim leg and an open cuff. Available in sizes XXS–4X, the set is made with a soft mid-weight fleece. And if the yellow isn't your cup of tea, it also comes in other colors and patterns like espresso, cream and a muted cream floral.

Get them from Target: the hoodie for $30 and the sweatpants for $28.

Another set on Czernekova's want list is this cushy "Sunday" sweatsuit from Abercrombie & Fitch made from sumptuous and unbelievably soft fleece. The high-rise pants are wide-legged and intentionally slouchy, while the sweatshirt promises that classic oversized hoodie silhouette and kangaroo pockets.

Czernekova prefers this blush color (pictured right), but it also comes in tons of other colors and prints, and sizes XS–XXL.

Get them from Abercrombie: the sweatshirt for $45 (originally $60) and the pants for $60.

Although Czernekova doesn't own it yet, she's a big fan of this timeless and streamlined option from Gap. Available in tons of bright and unique colors and sizes XS–2XL, it features a crewneck with a banded wedge hem and a drop shoulder design. The separately available pants are straight-legged with a relaxed fit throughout.

Get them from Gap Factory: the crewneck for $32.49 (originally $54.99; available in sizes XS–XXL and 12 colors) and the matching pants for $35.99 (originally $59.99; available in sizes XS–XXL, tall and petite sizes, and 13 colors).
