Including a cozy puffer jacket, adorable Chelsea boots, and an awesome red light therapy mask.

These headphones had been on my wish list for AGES, and Bose was kind enough to send them to me recently, and they're even better than I imagined they'd be. I have tried MANY earbuds/headphones over the years — classic AirPods, Tozo headphones, Beats headphones, etc. The fit is just perfect — snug enough that they don't feel too big, without being too tight. They're SO COMFY! The sound quality on these is chef's kiss!!!

When I tell you that there are lyrics in songs I've known for years that I've realized I was singing wrong, because I hear them more clearly with these headphones, I'm not kidding (I'm too lazy to look up lyrics sometimes, sorry). And the noise cancellation? Let me just say, as a girl with sensory issues, these truly block out every sound. I am veryyyy noise sensitive, and even the sound of someone breathing near me when I'm feeling irritable and need to concentrate on something is enough to make me lose my focus. These headphones truly keep me ~in my zone~ and I am very grateful for that. 🙌

I had my eyes on Ninja Creami machines for a while and could not have been more excited when the brand was kind enough to send me this particular model last summer. It had quickly become my favorite kitchen appliance, and I've had so much fun experimenting with different flavor combos.

For starters, it's incredibly simple to use, and the variety of options for turning your frozen creations into makes it all the more fun. My personal favorite is soft serve, and one of my unexpected favorite flavors I made in it was a pumpkin spice soft serve (pictured right). I softened some graham crackers for a mix-in, and it was *chef's kiss* perfect. This machine is especially fab for ice cream lovers with dietary restrictions/allergies. As someone who is sensitive to dairy and allergic to tree nuts, I find it hard to find ice cream shops that offer vegan, tree nut-free flavors other that lemon sorbet. No offense to lemon sorbet, but YAWN! With this machine, I can enjoy those fun flavors (and not run the risk of hurting my stomach or having an allergic reaction). I truly can't recommend this machine enough.

Craftmix was kind enough to send me a variety pack over the summer and I genuinely had no idea what to expect before trying these, but let me tell you...they are DELICIOUS!!! So far, I've tried mango margarita, passionfruit paloma, blood orange mai tai, and strawberry mule, and they're equally delicious as cocktails AND as mocktails. I love that they're the perfect amount of sweet without being overly so, and they're so freaking easy to use!! Just mix with your liquor, water, soda, or juice of choice! A personal pro tip: I loveeee making mocktails with these and some Sprite Zero. Such a delish, fizzy drink that satisfies my craving for a fruity drink without a hangover the next day!!!

Get it from Amazon for $14.99 (available in 13 flavors and variety pack options).

A few months ago, I decided to switch careers from full-time journalism to pursue a master's in speech-language pathology. I traded WFH in pajamas for needing scrubs for my various clinical placements. I spent the first semester of my program wearing an inexpensive set from Amazon, and after eight hours at a clip in a hospital, the cheap material felt like a sensory nightmare on my skin.

At the start of the spring semester, I decided to treat myself to my very first pair of Figs and, well, now I'm spoiled and a Figs girl for life. I have the set, which is the Catarina one-pocket scrub top and the Kade cargo scrub pants, and they are PERFECT. So comfy, and I am not crawling out of my skin after wearing them all day. I also love how breathable they feel. Sometimes my hospital days feel like running a marathon, not to mention the pretty long commute to/from, so having a good-quality pair of scrubs is vital. The one-pocket top is also so helpful — I have enough room to keep a lil' notebook, pen, my pen light, and it's the perfect spot for me to clip my badge reel onto. The only warning I have is that sizing can be pretty inconsistent (I wear a different size in the top/bottoms). I also live somewhere that is chilly much of the year and usually wear these underscrubs too.

Apologies to my wallet (and yours, if I have convinced you, fellow healthcare workers, to buy these), but I am not sorry because they really are the best scrubs ever.

Get the set from Figs for $94 (available in women's sizes XXS–6XL, regular/petite versions, three pants types, and 20 colors).

Before I started grad school, I bought an inexpensive laptop sleeve and truly got what I paid for because the zipper on it broke in a matter of months. I had been eyeing the Baggu laptop sleeves prior and took it as a sign that it was time to buy one. I'm a summer girl to my core and love all things beachy/coastal town-esque, and there's just something about this laptop sleeve that brightens up my day a bit, even in the cold, dead of a very snowy winter. I love that it has a Velcro closure (no zippers to break), and the puffiness makes me feel like my laptop is well-padded and protected in my backpack. My zippered iPad case is still hanging in there, but I already have my eye on this cherry print sleeve and decided it's going to be my post-surviving midterms treat.

Get it from Baggu for $32 (available in 19 colors).

I'm no stranger to the Ugg brand — I've been wearing Ugg boots and slippers since I was in middle school, and a pair of Ugg boots I've had since I was 15 are still very wearable at age 31. I've had my sights on the Tasman II slippers for some time, and Ugg was kind enough to send me a pair at the end of the summer, just in time for fall — I am OBSESSED. To me, these slippers are basically a crossover between their slippers (which I have a pair of to wear around the house) and an ankle boot, in that they have just enough support to wear out in public. I have the chestnut color and adore it, and will likely splurge on the sand color soon, too, because they're just so perfect.

Get them from Amazon for $124.95 (available in women's sizes 5–12 and six colors).

Every Monday, my grad program has us on campus for 10–11-hour days, with a one-hour lunch break between classes, and not much time to make the drive to get food off campus. Making it through hours of class lectures, clinical instruction, and exams is TIRING and requires extra brain fuel. This double-decker lunch tote is perfect for those long days. It holds several ice packs and has room for breakfast, lunch, and plenty of snacks. I love the various compartments for organizing my food by what should stay cold, snacks that don't need to be kept cold, and other necessities like napkins and utensils. Genuinely don't know how I'd get through my long campus Mondays without it.

Get it from Amazon for $24.99+ (available in six colors, also available in a smaller size).

Let me start by saying I'm a winter hater to my core. Cold weather is my enemy. I'm also claustrophobic and honestly really hate wearing winter jackets because they make me feel trapped. It's just a lose-lose time of the year for me.

Due to my disdain for winter and the jackets needed to survive it, I hadn't splurged on a coat in a long while and was wearing a too-snug, worn-out-looking coat (add in the fact that prior to this year, I was WFH for years, I had no real need to leave the house anyway). Well, this year has meant leaving the house for campus/clinical rotations, and somehow my social calendar has been more fruitful this winter, too. Throw into the mix that we've had more snow this year than ever before...it was time to lay down my pride and some $$$ for a good winter coat.

I had my sights set on the Aritizia Super Puff, but the style and size I wanted were sold out. After some research, I happened upon this Quince Responsible Puffer, and I am SO glad I did. This baby really does keep me warm even on the coldest of days. For the first time, I'm actually excited to put on a winter coat (not enough that I want six more weeks of winter, but enough that I can tolerate what's left of winter without feeling full of dread. My favorite part of this coat is the length. I feel like so many of the jackets I was looking at were either too long or too short, and this truly is the Goldilocks of lengths, IMO. And at the end of the day, I love that I'm wearing a jacket from a brand that is ethical and sustainably sourced. It's a high-quality piece that I'll get lots of use out of. I bought the black color since it goes with everything I own, and it's perfect, but you can't go wrong with any of the colors!

Get it from Quince for $150 (available in sizes XS–XL and 16 colors, and plus sizes 1X–3X).

Thursday Boot Company sent me the Legend Platform several months ago, and they are hands-down my favorite pair of boots I own. The first time I wore them was to a Chappell Roan concert — a general-admission show that required a somewhat lengthy walk to/from the train (and loooooots of dancing). This felt like a huge risk, but desperate times call for desperate measures, aka my outfit needed a pair of boots like this, and these were the only ones easily accessible in my rush to get out the door. Well, against all odds my v sensitive feet were still perfectly intact the next day (as were my lovely boots). These boots have continued to serve me well since — I wear them for nights out with my friends, casual hangs, and everything in between. My only major recommendation would be to wear taller socks with these, since they can be a bit sensitive against your ankles with excessive wear, but as long as you're prepped with longer socks, you're golden. Safe to say, Thursday Boot Company has a new loyal customer in me!!!

Get them from Thursday Boot Company for $168 (available in women's sizes 5–13 (available in six colors).

I'm not a picky pajama girl by any stretch — I will happily wear an old pair of sweatpants and a concert tee to bed — but I bought these pajama pants during Aerie's Black Friday sale a few months ago, and now I want them in every color/style they offer. They are ridiculously comfy — so soft and feel cooling, which I particularly love lately because a medication I take makes me run pretty warm at night. You can also pair it with a matching buttoned long-sleeve or short-sleeve top for the full pajama set lewk (and they also make the bottoms in boxer shorts!!) but I typically just wear mine with one of my many Taylor Swift tour shirts and it's perf and so cozy.

Get them from Aerie for $49.95 (available in women's sizes XXS–XXL and 11 colors).

A red light therapy mask is one of those purchases I've wanted to make but wasn't sure I wanted to splurge on, and then the lovely folks at Renpho sent me this mask to try. 🙏 As a sensitive skin girl who is prone to hormonal acne even at the big age of 31, I love this thing! I've only used it a handful of times, but when I do use it consistently, I notice my acne is at bay, and my face looks clearer overall. It's also just really relaxing to put on while watching TV! The only downside was that it was a slight learning curve to figure out how to properly fit onto my face, but other than that, I have no complaints!
